A pressure-based BOIK model considering Shock to Detonation Transition(SDT) and damage due to external fragment or bullet stimuli impact on energetic materials and analytical approach for determination of free parameters are proposed. The rate of product mass fraction(${\lambda}$) consists of ignition term that represents the initiation due to shock compression and growth term that describes propagation of detonation wave and strain term representing the morphological deformation induced by external impact.

Usual human gait can be modeled as continual impact phenomenon that happens due to the topological change of the kinematic structure of the two feet. The human being adapts his own control algorithm to minimize the ill effect due to the collision with the environment. In order to operate a Humanoid robot like the human being, it is necessary to understand the physics of the impact and to derive an analytical model of the impact. In this paper, specially, we focus on impact analysis of the kicking motion in playing soccer. At the instant of impact, the external impulse exerted on the ball by the foot is an important property. Initially, we introduce the complete external impulse model of the lower-extremity of the human body and analyze the external impulses for several kicking postures of the lower-extremity. Secondly, a trajectory-planning algorithm of a ball, in which the initial velocity and the launch angle of the ball are calculated for a desired trajectory of the ball, will be introduced. The aerodynamic effect such as drag force and lift force is also considered. We carry out numerical simulation and experimentation to verify the effectiveness of the proposed analytical methodology.

Purpose: In general, when a company wants to build a brand, its brand managers research the market and industry trends and then make decisions regarding the brand architecture and brand positioning development. This study was conducted not only in the service industry but also in manufacturing, finance, public institutions, and a variety of other business institutions. This led to a statistically significant difference between the status of external mobile branding for each business sector, and brand commitment and performance. Research Design, Data and Methodology: External mobile brand communication activities influence on employees' brand commitment. External mobile brand communication has a greater impact on employee brand commitment than any other factors. Result: Among the three external mobile branding activity variables, the external mobile brand communication variables have the greatest impact on employee brand performance. This supports the arguments proposed by that external mobile brand communication has a greater impact on employee brand commitment than any other factors. Conclusion: As a result, public institutions, such as ordinary businesses, need to recognize that external branding activities that enhance employee brand performance should be a key management activity. In contrast, financial institutions have the highest leadership activities and employee brand commitment.

There have been many studies that open innovation activities have positive effects on firm performance. However, the previous studies have shown conflicting results, depending on the characteristics of companies or the timing of the product launch. This study empirically compares open innovation performance of first-mover companies and follower companies. The analyses are performed on the samples of the Korean Innovation Survey 2010 companies that explored external information and performed R&D cooperation. The results indicate that open innovation activities can have different effects depending on a company's status in the market. For the first-mover companies, the intensity of utilizing external information has greater impact on the firm's performance than the diversity of it. By contrast, for the follower companies, the diversity of utilizing external information has greater impact on the firm's performance than the intensity of it. In terms of R&D cooperation, the external cooperation is found not to have significant effects on a first-mover company's performance. However, external R&D cooperation of a follower company is showing positive impact on the firm's performance. The implication of the study is to analyze the firm's Open-Innovation performance by comparing first-mover companies with follower companies. Therefore, companies need to execute the Open-Innovation strategy by considering firm characteristics or the timing of the product launch.

Impact pathway analysis(IPA) is a bottom-up approach to estimates health and environmental risks from emissions of classical pollutants (eg. $PM_{10}$, $SO_2$, $NO_x$ and CO). The model starts from the emission rates of facility, calculates the yearly mean concentrations of pollutants at the ground level using atmospheric dispersion models. After this, proper epidemiological exposure-response functions are applied to determine the impact on the receptors. Finally the methodology can monetise the calculated physical impact on the basis of selected economic evaluation. The aim of this study is to evaluate an external cost of virtual point source in Suwon area using IPA. The results shows minor modification of local input data can make it possible to apply the model to Suwon area.

본 연구에서는 기업의 외부 지식 탐색 전략과 혁신활동 성과의 관계를 규명하였다. 광범위하고(external search breadth) 심도 있는 (external search depth) 외부 지식 탐색 전략이 제품혁신에 긍정적인 효과가 있다는 것을 밝힌 기존 연구를 확장하여, 혁신의 또 다른 중요 유형인 공정혁신과 조직혁신에 미치는 영향을 함께 살펴보았다. 특히, 외부 지식 탐색 전략이 혁신에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 벤처기업과 비벤처기업으로 구분하여 한국 기술혁신조사(KIS) 2010년 제조부문 자료를 사용해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 비벤처기업의 경우 광범위한 외부 지식 탐색과 심도 있는 외부 지식 탐색은 제품, 공정, 조직혁신활동 성과에 모두 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면 두 가지 외부 지식 탐색은 벤처기업의 조직혁신활동 성과에는 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 제품혁신과 공정혁신활동 성과에 있어서는 심도 있는 외부 지식 탐색만이 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 결론을 도출하였다.

This paper investigates the potential impact of external factors on bid/no-bid decision for supervision consultant service on construction project in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The data used in this study are secondary data taken from annual reports and sourced from the Department of Public Procurement, Ministry of Planning and Investment in Hanoi. Besides, to identify the impact of external factors on bid/no-bid decision for supervision consultant service on construction project in Hanoi, the study collected data from 272 qualified questionnaires from bidders doing business in Hanoi. Cronbach's Alpha, EFA and regression model are used to explore the impact of each independent variable on bid/no-bid decision for supervision consultant service on construction project. The results show that three external determinants, including Project characteristic (PC), Legal codes (LC) and Competition (C) are affecting bid/no-bid decision for supervision consultant service on construction project in Hanoi. Among them, Project characteristic (PC) and Legal codes (LC) have positive relationships with bid/no-bid decision for supervision consultant service on construction project, whereas Competition (C) negatively affects bid/no-bid decision for supervision consultant service on construction project. It means the more contractors actually participate in a bid, the less bid/ no-bid decisions are made.

This paper aims to investigate the impact of corporate governance on the quality of integrated reporting. Corporate governance includes internal (board size, board independence, and board diversity) and external (audit quality and enforcement) governance factors. This paper develops an index to capture the quality of integrated reporting by employing the completeness of information required by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). For an international sample, the paper manually collects 160 integrated reports along with internal and external governance factors and employs multivariate analyses to examine the association between these governance factors and the quality of integrated reporting. The empirical results suggest that firms with a larger board of directors, a larger proportion of female members on board, and located in countries with enforcement for integrated reporting requirements have a higher quality of integrated reporting. Our conclusions still hold after accounting for several conditions, including the industry-fixed and year-fixed effects. Together, these results suggest that both internal and external governance factors are important determinants for the quality of integrating reporting. These results have several theoretical and practical implications as they fulfill the absence of relevant studies on addressing the impact of internal and external corporate governance factors on the quality of integrated reporting.

본 연구는 중소기업의 외부 기술 정보 네트워크에 대한 연구 흐름의 깊이를 더하기 위해 외부 기술 정보네트워크의 다양성이 중소기업의 기술개발로 인한 매출 증대에 미치는 직접적인 영향 뿐만 아니라, 이러한 직접인 영향에 대한 생산성 향상의 매개 효과와 최고 경영자가 주도하는 기술 개발의 조절 효과를 실증적으로 분석한다. 2,200개의 한국 중소기업 데이터를 사용한 최소자승 회귀분석을 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결과를 본 연구는 제공한다. 첫째, 중소기업의 외부 기술 정보네트워크의 다양성은 기술 개발로 인한 매출 성장에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 중소기업의 생산성 향상은 외부 기술정보 네트워크의 다양성이 매출 성장에 미치는 이러한 정(+) 영향을 부분 매개한다. 셋째, 최고경영자가 주도하는 기술개발은 중소기업의 외부 기술 정보 네트워크의 다양성이 매출 성장에 미치는 정(+)의 영향을 조절한다.

Some of manufacturing tasks such as sawing task often requires continuous impulsive motion. In case of sawing task, such impulsive motions can be observed between the teeth of the saw and the object. The amount of the external impulse exerted on the object has been treated as an important control parameter. The purpose of this work is to introduce a new concept of an effective mass in sawing task and to suggest an external impulse model in sawing task. A normalized impulse ellipsoid reflecting the velocity direction is employed to visualize the impact geometry. Experiments are performed for soft and hard workpieces to justify the external impulse model in the sawing task. It is demonstrated through simulation and experiment that the proposed external impulse model is effective to characterize the impact property.
