태양의 위치에 따른 광파이프 시스템의 실내 주광환경평가 (Assessment of Daylight Environment on Light Pipe System Under Different Solar Position)

  • The aim of this paper is to show the daylight environment of a light pipe system according to sun movement. A light pipe system has been mounted on the roof of the windowless full scale model: the solar spot has diameter of 0.65m and is 1.3m long, giving an aspect ratio of 1:2. The full scale model was installed on the rooftop of the SHINAN apartment in Yongin city that has no obstructions against sunlight. The test room is equipped with sensors for the measurements of the internal illuminance and has an area of 6m(W)$\times$6m(D)$\times$4m(H). The system has been monitored with a data-logger to evaluate the cumulative distribution of illuminance on a floor-plane from 16th, April to 29th, May, 2008 over one month and selected clear sky condition. For the daylight performance of floor area, the totally 49 measuring points has been used to determine the internal illuminance and an HP datalogger(HP34970A) records the measurements for one consecutive month. The horizontal external illuminance has been measured with two outdoor sensors. This paper presents the results of monitoring light pipe system with internal/external illuminance ratio and cumulative frequency distribution of floor-plane illuminance are discussed The results show that lightpipe is proficient device for introducing daylight into the building. However It provided different daylight indoor environment with wide or narrow Interquatile range of illuminance, internal/external illuminance ratio and cumulative frequency distribution according to solar positions under suuny sky condition. For more achieving the improvement of lightpipes also include energy savings, user visual comfort with various indicators; seasonal solar height, room and lightpipes geometries.

훈데르트바써 주택작품의 외부 디자인 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design Characteristics of External Appearances of Hundertwasser's Housing Projects)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the design characteristics of external appearances of Hundertwasser's housing projects through both literature review and field study, and to understand how Hundertwasser's architecture philosophy was embodied in the design of external appearances so such projects. The subjects of the analysis are: Hundertwasser House; In the Meadow Bad Soden; The Forest Spiral Darmstadt; and The Green Citadel Magdeburg. The conclusion of the study is as follows. The fundamental architecture philosophy of Hunderwasser is the close linkage between mankind and nature. He has proven, through his four housing projects mentioned above, that it is possible to build houses without destroying and in harmony with nature. Hundertwasser had identified vitality, irregularity and diversity as being the source of beauty of nature. Using the human creativity, he had embodied such elements into his housing projects, thus suggesting an ideal housing environment whereby humanity is respected. Hundertwasser made use of organic curved line and spiral shapes that exist in nature when designing his housing projects. His creativity was articulated through vitality, diversity, and irregularity in colour schemes and a wide range of form. Indeed, he was an architect pursuing the underlying nature of both human and nature. The current living environment in Korea can be characterized as being standardized and desolate, which is a result of housing projects being focused too much on functionalism. Through its analysis of Hundertwasser's housing projects, one of the objectives of this study is to contribute to a new design paradigm being called for today, including for housing projects to be more ecological and environmental-friendly. By motivating architects and appealing to their clients, this study hopes to motivate those involved in various housing projects to think progressively. Such an attitude change could assist in transforming and thus enhancing the overall living environment in Korea.

외부 환경 정보 반영 대화형 창문 인터페이스 (The Interactive Window Interface reflecting external environment information)

  • 1인가구의 가장 높은 비율을 차지하는 연령층은 60대 이상의 노인이다. 그들의 상당수가 경제적으로 어려운 상황에 처해있어 낙후된 주거공간에 거주한다. 노인의 주거공간의 창문은 존재하지 않거나 창문으로써의 역할을 제대로 하지 못하는 경우가 많다. 그들은 우울증, 고독사 등 사회적 문제에 취약한 상태로 노출되어 있다. 그래서 비상상황에 대한 대처능력이 현저히 떨어진다. 본 논문은 낙후된 주거공간에 거주하는 1인가구 중 60대 이상 노인을 대상으로 하는 외부 환경 정보 반영 대화형 창문 인터페이스를 제안한다. 본 콘텐츠는 별도의 공간과 비용이 요구되지 않는 보급형 TV 혹은 PC 모니터를 활용한다. 노인이 사용하는데 어려움이 없는 직관적인 터치센싱을 통해 손을 인식하면 현재 외부 환경을 반영하는 날씨 영상, 온도 정보를 제공한다. 보다 중요한 노인의 비상상황에 대비하여 알림소리, SMS전송 서비스를 제공한다. 본 콘텐츠를 통해 사용자는 정서적 안정을 느낄 수 있고 비상상황에 빠르게 대처할 수 있다.

중국 소주지역 민가 거주가가 지각한 주거문제에 관한 연구 (Studies about Housing Problems Perceived by Residents in Traditional Houses in Suzhou, China)

  • This study is to explore the housing problems and environment conditions perceived by residents in traditional houses in Suzhou, China. The empirical data is based on a questionnaire survey, which were from 100 residents in traditional area in Gusu area of Suzhou. In order to understand the traditional houses, on-the-spot investigation and literature review methods are adapted in this study. The main findings are as follows. Firstly, most of residents are middle-aged or older people, and their income is not high. Secondly, there are almost no cases of organizing independent workroom and storage room in their housing. Moreover, the main problems are mildew, theft, rats and cockroaches, etc. Finally, the satisfaction with the internal housing environment was appeared reasonable, but the external environment is unsatisfactory. Therefore, the external environment should be more considered in the Chinese traditional housing policy.

외부 열적 환경 변화에 따른 압전작동기 제어성능 열화 고찰 (Control Performance Investigation of Piezoelectric Actuators under Variation of External Heat Environment)

  • This paper proposes experimental results for control performance deterioration of a piezoelectric actuator under high temperature conditions due to external heat environment. In this work, a heat environment from 30 ℃ to 190 ℃ is established by a heat chamber which is capable of high temperature of heat environment. Inside the heat chamber, an experimental apparatus consisting of the stack type of piezoelectric actuator, laser sensor, gap sensor and temperature sensor is established. After evaluating temperature dependent blocking force, displacement and time response of a piezoelectric actuator inside the heat chamber, tracking control performances are evaluated under various temperature conditions via proportional-integral-derivative(PID) feedback controller. The desired position trajectory has a sinusoidal wave form with a fixed frequency. Control performances are experimentally evaluated at both room temperature and high temperature and presented in time domain.

기업의 경영환경요인이 관리회계시스템에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 중소기업을 대상으로 (The Influence of Business Environment Factors on the Characteristics of Management Accounting System(MAS) - Focusing on small and mid-sized enterprises)

  • 본 논문에서 기업의 내외부 경영환경요인이 관리회계시스템 특성에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 기업의 외부 경영환경요인으로 환경불확실성과 시장에서의 경쟁, 내부 경영환경요인으로 경영전략, 조직구조, 첨단 제조기술을 하위요인으로 구성하였고, 관리회계시스템 특성은 정보의 범위, 적시성, 통합성, 결합성 하위요인으로 구성하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 기업의 환경요인 중 환경불확실성이 관리회계시스템의 정보의 범위, 통합성, 결합성에 상대적으로 중요한 영향요인임을 확인하였고 적시성은 조직구조가 가장 영향을 주는 요인으로 나타났다. 다만, 시장에서의 경쟁은 관리회계시스템 특성에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.

TN-C-S 접지계통에서 외부 루프 임피던스의 실측 및 기준값 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement and Determination of External Loop Impedance on TN-C-S System)

  • The maximum allowable value of loop impedance($Z_s$) to secure the operation of overcurrent protective devices and the safety for indirect contact is a very important in TN-C-S system. The loop impedance is divided into inner loop impedance which consumer can adjust and external loop impedance($Z_e$) which only electric operator can adjust. Thus, an external loop impedance which limits to less than a certain value is a very important factor for human body protection against electric shock in TN-C-S system. The concept of loop impedance($Z_s$) is recently introduced to the domestic, the study about external loop impedance is yet insufficient. However, the study about the reference impedance as specified by the IEC 60725 standard to improve the quality and reliability of the power supply is being made. In this paper, reference value of external loop impedance($Z_e$) to meet domestic environment will be proposed by the nationwide measurement and statistical analysis.

Stability analysis of an insulationless HTS pancake coil under the magnitude of external magnetic field

  • An HTS (high temperature superconducting) coil without insulation has been investigated since a metallic insulation was suggested in the mid-1980s. The advantage of an insulationless HTS pancake coil is that it is more stable than an insulated HTS pancake coil. This paper focuses on the various characteristics of the insulationless HTS pancake coil related with stability, especially under the external magnetic field. Because HTS pancake coil may be influenced by the external magnetic field in a real operational environment of electrical devices. First, charge-discharge test was performed for the characteristics evaluation of the insulationless HTS pancake coil as compared with insulated HTS pancake coil in liquid nitrogen at 77 K. Based on the experiment results, characteristics evaluation of the insulationless HTS pancake coil was implemented under the external magnetic field. In order to carry out the experiment, we have fabricated a cylindrical solenoid coil to apply the magnetic field. The various characteristics of the insulationless HTS pancake coil were evaluated for charge-discharge and over-current conditions. This paper proves that the insulationless HTS pancake coil is more stable than the insulated HTS pancake under the external magnetic field.

Seismic performance improvement of RC buildings with external steel frames

  • In this study, in order to improve the seismic performance of existing reinforced concrete (RC) framed structures, various external attachment of corner steel frame configurations was considered as a user-friendly retrofitting method. The external steel frame is designed to contribute to the lateral stiffness and load carrying capacity of the existing RC structure. A six-story building was taken into account. Four different external corner steel frame configurations were suggested in order to strengthen the building. The 3D models of the building with suggested retrofitting steel frames were developed within ABAQUS environment using solid finite elements and analyzed under horizontal loadings nonlinearly. Horizontal top displacement vs loading curves were obtained to determine the overall performance of the building. Contributions of steel and RC frames to the carried loads were computed individually. Load/capacity ratios for the ground floor columns were presented. In the study, 3D rendered images of the building with the suggested retrofits are created to better visualize the real effect of the retrofit on the final appearance of the façade of the building. The analysis results have shown that the proposed external steel frame retrofit configurations increased the lateral load carrying capacity and lateral stiffness and can be used to improve the seismic performance of RC framed buildings.

외부탄소원 주입시 영양염류의 생물학적 제거를 위한 자동제어 SBR 공정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Autocontrolled SBR for Biological Nutrient Removal with External Carbon Sources)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop effective operating process in order to achieve more suitable conditions of Anoxic-Oxic-Anoxic-Stripper(AOAS) SBR through real-time control. To improve the removal efficiency, glucose, methanol and synthetic food waste acid fermentant were added as an external carbon source, In the case of glucose and synthetic food waste acid fermentant, TN, TP were removed to average 86.9%, 73.0% respectively. Methanol was removed to average 64.6%, 55.4% respectively. The synthetic food waste acid fermentant proved to be the most efficient and allowed for the substitution of an external carbon source. The removal rate of $COD_{Cr}$, was approximately 90% at all cases. The results of the study that a correlation between ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential), pH and DO and nitrification or denitrification when an external carbon source is added and when it isn't was showed that ${\Delta}ORP$ is suitable parameter. ORP reacted properly to denitrification (${\Delta}ORP<-10$) and nitrification (${\Delta}ORP<0$). The use of real-time control saved anywhere between 61 and 67 minutes at the anoxic(1) stage and 26 to 52 minutes at the oxic(1) stage. When the time saved from the anoxic(1) and oxic(1) was added to the anoxic(2) stage for the removal efficiency of TN and TP increased from 0.7 to 13.9% and 12 to 35 % respectively.
