Properties of disease occurrence by season for cultivation facilities of oyster mushroom

  • We investigated the correlation between density of air and the infection rate of airborne microorganisms in mushroom cultivation facilities and found that the correlation was low in places where the infection rate during cultivation was less than 1%. The farms with an infection rate of 2~5% showed a high infection rate in the inoculation room in spring and summer seasons, and in the incubation room in autumn, and the farms with an infection rate of more than 6% showed infection in all the rooms regardless of the season. The farms where the Trichoderma sp. was investigated at the time of the mushroom cultivation showed the highest infection rates of 3.17%, 2.74%, and 2.64% in summer, spring, and autumn, respectively. The farms infected with Neurospora tetrasperma showed a lesser rate of infection than the ones infected with Trichoderma sp., and the highest infection rate of 0.56% was observed in summer. Based on these results, the type of infection could be classified into five groups, where type I was farms where the infection rate is less than 1% in all seasons. Three farms belonged to this type, and the infection rate in this type was lower than that in the other types.

벼 모판 파종동시처리 완효성비료 시용효과 (Application Effect of the Controlled Release Fertilizer Applied on Seedling Tray at Seeding Time in Rice)

  • 본 연구는 비료의 손실을 줄이면서 시비효율을 극대화 할 수 있는 벼 모판 파종동시처리 완효성비료을 개발하여 육묘상자 당 적정시용량을 설정코자, 추청벼에 대해 2010년부터 2011년까지 시험한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 파종상비료를 처리한 20일 육묘 후 묘의 N, $P_2O_5$, $K_2O$ 함량은 무처리에 비해 육묘기간중에 소량이 용출되었으나 비료해는 발생하지 않았다. 2. 벼 생육기간중 식물체 총질소 흡수량은 파종상비료 시용량이 많아질수록 증가하는 패턴이었으며 2011년에는 상자당 500 g 파종상비료시용구에서 대조구와 대등한 수준으로 나타났으며 $P_2O_5$, $K_2O$ 흡수량도 총질소 흡수량과 유사한 경향을 보였다. 3. 벼 수확기에 볏짚중의 총질소 함량은 대조구와 파종상 비료 400~600 g 시용구간에 차이가 없었다. 4. 벼 수확기 파종상비료 시용구의 질소흡수이용율은 대조구('11년 31%)에 비해 54~72%로 파종상비료 시용량이 증가할수록 높았다. 5. 2011년 파종상비료 시용구의 초기생육은 2010년에 비해 약간 떨어지는 경향이었고 이앙후 60일 이후의 생육은 대등하였다. 6. 파종상비료의 벼 육묘상자 당 적정 시용량을 독립변수(X)로, 쌀 수량을 종속변수(Y)로 하여 2차회귀식를 구한 결과에 대조구의 쌀 수량에 달하는 파종상비료의 상자 당 시용량을 구한 결과 2010과 2011년 각각 498 g, 513 g으로 나타나 2개년 평균으로 본 적정시용량은 500 g으로 산출되었다.

An approach for the functional extension of the remote measurement method of unsteady flow rate

  • The paper describes an approach for estimating unsteady flow rate through oil hydraulic pipelines and components in real time. Recently we have proposed following three unsteady flow rate measurement approaches; RIFM, QIFM and TPFM, in which hydraulic pipeline dynamics are made use of. In this paper, we firstly propose new approaches, i.e, an interpolation and an extrapolation methods in combination with RIFM and TPFM. In the interpolation method, unsteady flow rate at the arbitrary internal location along the pipeline between two points for measuring the two point pressure can be estimated. In this paper, the accuracy and dynamic response of interpolation method are mainly experimentally investigated in detail.

김치의 재래보존법 검증 (Verification of Conventional kimchi Preservation Methods)

  • Various additives(glucono-$\delta$-lactone, glycine, chitosan, Chinese pepper extract+msutard oil, cinnamon oil+ginger oil+mustard oil, Chinese pepper extract), used in the Korean patents singularly or in combination, were tested for extension of shelf-life of kimchi. Addition of glucono-$\delta$-lactone or chitosan was somewhat effective in delaying the fermentation rate, however no such effect was seen by other additives. Chitosan at the concentrations of 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5% was similarily effective in delaying the fermen-tation rate. Mustard oil or cinnamon oil tend to delay the fermentation rate by singular addition at the concern tration of 0.5% or 1%. Soaking of the salted and washed Chinese cabbage in 0.5% chitosan solution resulted in delay of the fermentation rate of kimchi.

전라북도에서 곤충 병원성 곰팡이 Zoophthora radicans (Entomophthorales: Entomophthoraceae)의 발생 (Occurrence of the Entomopathogenic Fungus Zoophthora radicans (Entomophthorales: Entomophthoraceae) in Jeollabuk-do, Korea)

  • 곤충병원성 곰팡이 Zoophthora radicans (Entomophthorales: Entomophthoraceae)가 혹명나방, 배추좀나방, 복숭아혹진딧물과 진딧물인 미분류 1종을 감염시키는 것을 발견하였다. 이들은 전라북도 진안, 김제, 익산에서 수집되었고, 6월과 9월에 관찰이 가능하였다. 이 균에 감염된 혹명나방은 진안에서 수집되었고, 감염율이 46%에 달하였다. 감염된 곤충 충체로부터 균을 분리하여 Sabouraud dextrose agar with yeast extract (SDAY)를 이용하여 인공배양을 시도하였다. 그 결과, $20{\sim}28^{\circ}C$가 인공배양을 위한 최적온도로 판단되며, SDAY보다 SDAY supplemented with egg yolk and milk (SDAY-EM)에서 발육이 보다 양호하였다. 이 곰팡이는 자연적으로 발생함을 포장에서 확인할 수 있었다.

버섯배지 재료로서 케나프의 이화학성 분석 (The physicochemical properties of kenaf(Hibiscus cannabinus L.) as mushroom culture media source)

  • Kenaf(Hibiscus cannabinus L.)의 버섯 배지원으로서의 활용 가능성을 판단하고자 물리성과 영양원 함유량 등을 분석한 결과 배지의 형태를 유지하고 영양원의 공급기지 역할을 하는 주재료로서 활용 가능성이 높았으며 탄소, 질소 함량과 C/N율, 일반성분, 미량원소 그리고 아미노산 함량 등도 일정 수준을 유지하고 있어서 배지 영양원으로서 역할도 기대할 수 있었다. 실제로 Kenaf는 다공성 세포구조 특성으로 높은 함수능력을 가지고 있었는데 bast 부위의 경우 수분 흡수율이 578%로 수분 조절제와 산소 공급자 역할을 충실히 할 것으로 판단되었다. 총 탄소 함량은 91.4%로 포플러톱밥이나 밀기울, 미강에 비해 아주 높았다. 총 질소는 1.76%로 배지 주재료로는 높은 특성을 유지하였으며 C/N율은 51.9 였다. 가용성무질소물은 46.6%로 미강 정도의 수준을 유지하였다. 탄소원 구성을 보면 cellulose 함량은 포플러에 비해 상대적으로 높았고 lignin 함량은 낮았는데, 비교적 원활하게 사용할 수 있는 탄소원인 hemicellulose+pectin 혼합물이 포플러에 비해 3.7% 많았다. 무기이온 함량도 케나프가 포플러톱밥에 비해 전체적으로 높았는데 Fe은 4.2배, P은 3.2배, K는 2.2배 많았고 Ca는 16 mg/kg 더 많았다. 아미노산 함량은 전체적으로 포플러톱밥보다 많았으며 미강보다는 함량이 낮았다.

큰느타리(새송이)버섯 최적 생육온도 조건 (Optimal temperature for Pleurotus eryngii cultivation)

  • 온도가 수확율과 수확기간에 미치는 영향은 방임과 솎음 공히 온도가 낮을수록 발이소요일이 길었고, 수학소요일도 같은 경향을 보였다. 수확률에 있어서 $13^{\circ}C$에서는 91%, $17^{\circ}C$에서는 90.3%, $15^{\circ}C$에서는 95.8%로 가장 좋은 결과를 보였다. 온도가 낮은 것은 발이가 불량하여 수확률이 떨어진 것이고, $17^{\circ}C$ 조건에서는 갈반병이 발생하여 수확률이 떨어졌다. 솎음처리구에서 품질은 생육온도가 13, 15, $17^{\circ}C$일때 각각 7.5, 8.1, 7.7로 $15^{\circ}C$ 처리가 가장 우수하였고, 수확량에 있어서는 $17^{\circ}C$ 처리에서 100.0g으로 가장 많았다. 방임처리구에서의 온도의 영향은 솎음처리구와 마찬가지 경향으로 13, 15, $17^{\circ}C$일때 품질은 각각 4.6, 5.9, 5.1로 $15^{\circ}C$가 가장 우수하였다. 무게에 있어서는 $15^{\circ}C$처리에서 107.2g으로 가장 수량이 많았다. 생육시기별 온도를 달리 적용하였을 경우, II조건($17^{\circ}C$ 발이기(뒤집기전, 7~8일)${\rightarrow}16^{\circ}C$ 원기신장기(솎기전, 4~5일)${\rightarrow}15^{\circ}C$ 신장기(솎기이후))가 생육소요일수가 16일로 가장 짧았으며, 수확량도 방임의 경우 다른 처리에 비해 22.4, 9.0% 증수되었다. 솎기구의 경우 품질이 8.1로 다른 처리구 7.1과 7.9보다 우수하였다. 총생산량에 있어서는 17.4, 4.0% 많았다.

유기질 퇴비 시용이 황금의 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Organic Compost on Growth and Yield in Scutellaria baicalensis)

  • This experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of several organic compost on the growth and root yield of Scutellaria baicalensis G. with organic cultivation from 2008 to 2009. Four organic compost were used ; Rice bran compost (RC : 1.1-3.6-1.4), Wheat bran compost (WC: 1.1-3.4-1.4), Hangawi compost (HC : 3.7-4.0-1.0), Cheonnyeonjigi compost (CC : 12.4-3.4-5.4) and Fermented chicken droppings compost (FC : 2.9-6.1-3.2). Organic matter, available phosphate and $K_2O$ of soil increased in all plots with the addition of organic compost, specifically in HC, CC and FC application. Treatment of HC, CC and FC application increased emergence rate and improved the growth characters of shoot, root parts of plants compared to those of RC application. Subterranean part yields by different organic compost was high 149~156 kg per 10a as by growth increment of dried root yield. length of main root and diameter of main root. respectively, 17.4~18.4 cm, 12.65~12.94 mm from HC, CC and FC application. There were significantly positive correlation between the growth characters of shoot, root parts of plants, dry root yield in Scutellaria baicalensis G. grown under organic compost application.

질소 시비량이 삼백초 생육 및 성분함량에 미치는 영향 (Growth and Medical Constituents of Saururus chinensis Baill as Affected by Different Amounts of Nitrogen Fertilizer Application)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the selected chemical properties of soils in Saururus chinensis Baill (Chinese lizard's tail) cultivation fields to provide optimal fertilizer application rates and to examine the growth and pharmaco-consitituents of Saururus chinensis Baill as influenced by different amounts of nitrogen (N) fertilizer applications. Based on the results of selected soil chemical properties in 37 cultivation sites of the plant, soil pH, organic matter content, and exchangeable $K^{+}$ concentration were lower than optimal values for cultivating general medicinal crops even though relatively high standard deviations were found in some of the values. At the harvesting stage of the plant aerial parts, soil pH, electrical conductivity (EC), available $P_2O_5$, and exchangeable $Ca^{2+}$, $Mg^{2+}$, $Na^{+}$ decreased as comparing with those before transplanting the plant, whereas the concentration of exchangeable $K^{+}$ increased in the plot treated with N 100% and compost. Fresh weight of the plant aerial parts were highest, 492.5kg/10, in the N 100% treatment plot. Correlation equation between N levels treated (X) and yield of the plant aerial parts (Y) presented as $Y=-2.1609X^2+30.082X+344.12$($R^2= 0.7113$) and the optimal rate of N fertilizer application for the plant was 6.6kg/10a. Carbon concentrations in the plant were not different among the different N levels applied. N and K concentrations in the plant were highest in the plot of N 100% with compost applications, the highest P concentration was in N 100% plot, and the highest Ca and S concentrations were in N 200% plot. Quercetin and quercitrin were highest in the N 150% plot and tannin was highest in N 100% or N 100% with compost application plot.

Effects of Granular Silicate on Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus var. lanatus) Growth, Yield, and Characteristics of Soil Under Greenhouse

  • The objective of this study was to determine the effects of granular type of silicate fertilizer on watermelon growth, yield, and characteristics of soil in the greenhouse. Four different levels of silicate fertilizer, 0(control), 600, 1,200, $1,800kg\;ha^{-1}$ were applied for experiment. The silicate fertilizer was applied as a basal fertilization before transplanting watermelon. Compost and basal fertilizers were applied based on the standard fertilizer recommendation rate with soil testing. All of the recommended $P_2O_5$ and 50% of N and $K_2O$ were applied as a basal fertilization. The N and $K_2O$ as additional fertilization was split-applied twice by fertigation method. Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus Thunb.) cultivar was 'Sam-Bok-KKuol and main stem was from rootstock (bottle gourd: Lagenaria leucantha Standl.) 'Bul-Ro-Jang-Sang'. The watermelon was transplanted on April, 15. Soil chemical properties, such as soil pH, EC, available phosphate and exchangeable K, Mg, and available $SiO_2$ levels increased compared to the control, while EC was similar and the concentrations of soil organic matter decreased. Physical properties of soils, such as soil bulk density and porosity were not different among treatments. The growth characteristics of watermelon, such as stem diameter, fresh and dry weight of watermelon at harvest were thicker and heavier for silicate treatment than the control, while number of node was shorter than the control. Merchantable watermelon increased by 3-5% compared to the control and sugar content was 0.4 to $0.7^{\circ}Brix$ higher than the control. These results suggest that silicate fertilizer application in the greenhouse can improve some chemical properties of soils and watermelon stem diameter and dry weight, which are contributed to watermelon quality and marketable watermelon production.
