  • The paper aims at presenting a systematic approach process and a method of requirement validation and system verification. Validation is applied during concept development to ensure conceptual validity, requirements validity, and design validity. Verification work is applied subsequent to the design work on test articles and early production items to produce evidence that the design solutions do, in fact, satisfy th requirements. In this paper, we present a requirements validation model and a system verification model. This models are applied to the development of TTX(Tilting Train Express)system with systems engineering tool, CORE.

  • This study presents a simulation of the traction return current based on $2{\times}25kV$ power supply system in order to determine the impedance bond intensity of impulse type track circuit on the electrified Gyeongbu line. The results of the simulation enables us to measure the precise intensity of catenary current that returns to the substation through KTX (Korean Train Express) operated by $2{\times}25kV$ power supply system with common earth network. The combination of $2{\times}25kV$ and common earth network established on the electrified Gyeongbu line for the first time in Korea.   • RCM developed by American air industry in early 1960, its process is most realistic for some physical assets and it permits the system to maintain given function status through decision of demand about optimum maintenance. Therefore, many industries have selected RCM technique and have carried out RCM in order to solve many problems concerning maintenance management as improvement of reliability and availability of facilities, removal of hazard element about break down and retrenchment of maintenance cost. Through the execution of RCM, we can solve actual problems. And finally we will be able to develop more and more maintenance activities with RCM notion. In this study, we will consider the application of KTX-RCM which is set up with basic theory of RCM and constructed to improve vehicle safety, availability and regularity of KTX, linking with CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management System).

  • In 2004, Korea has become the world's fifth-express train states, Honam high-speed railroad which goes down another line with existing Kyoungbu high-speed railroad is divided 19 construction sectors, its total length is 230.9 km and it will be constructed by 2017. This site is located in Jeollabukdo Jeong-eup district along 9.38 km. There are three representative bridges. ;One is the PSC box girder bridge, another is the Extradosed bridge, and the other is the three continuous spans half-through hybrid arch bridge. This paper shows a planning and design of these bridges.

  • The noises which occurs from the rolling stock can be divided largely into three classes and they are Rolling noise, Traction noise and Aerodynamic noise. In the event of braking the rolling stock which enter into the station, Brake shoes cause Fraction noise (braking noise) and excessive braking noise makes passengers and operators uncomfortable.   • 최근 들어 열차의 고속화, 고성능화 추세에 맞는 철도의 안전성 확보가 더욱 필요해졌다. 이를 달성하기 위해서는 각 전기장치들에 대한 종합적인 시험평가가 이루어져야 한다. 특히 완성차 및 본선시운전 시험을 통해 차량에 대한 여러 상태를 확인해야 한다. 그 중에서도 차량 네트워크 신호는 인간의 두뇌에 해당되는 매우 중요한 시스템이다. 이 신호를 취득하기 위해 계측시스템을 개발하여 차량의 주요신호들을 비교 분석하였다.

  • This paper presents a new high-performance intelligent controlled current-source (CCS) system which can compensate for modelling errors of armature resistance, leakage and magnetizing inductances and for space harmonic components of speed EMF's. A shuttle-motion simulation is presented in the mass-reduced-mode in which an equivalent vehicle weight is reduced, by 40kg to 7kg. This study provides one of the most important key-tech-nologies in driving practical linear synchronous motor (LSM) Maglev vehicle.

  • 본 논문에서는 고속전철용 추진제어장치의 개발 및 본선 주행시험에 관한 내용을 소개하였다. 고속열차용 추진제어장치는 입력 전류의 고조파를 감소하기 위하여 단상 PWM 컨버터 2대가 병렬로 구성되고 인버터는 3상 인버터 1대로 구성된다. 추진제어장치의 전력회로를 간단히 구성하기 위하여 최대용량(4500V/4200A)의 IGBT 전력소자를 적용하였다. 3상 인버터는 가속시 스위칭 기어현상을 저감하기 위하여 저주파 동기 PWM 기법을 적용하였다. 추진제어장치의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 실제 차량이 운행될 본선에서 속도 300km/h까지 가속시험, 비상제동 시험, 구배기동 시험 등을 실시하였다. 시험을 통하여 제작된 추진제어장치가 성능사양을 만족함을 확인하였다.

  • To improve the riding comfort and to increase the speed of high-speed railway, it needs active suspension system for railway more and more. In Korea, Korean Train Express (KTX) was opened to commercial traffic 2years ago. Korea High-speed Railway (HSR 350x) is being developed and succeeded 350km/h test run. With the increase of the speed, the vibration control of the high-speed railway becomes important to meet high ride quality. In this paper, we suggest the install of lateral damper to HSR 350x. The result shows better ride quality.

  • Moscow is one of well-developed city about intermodal transport system by subway line. But some airports which located in suburb area have really bad transport system connecting downtown Moscow, and many people have experienced a lot of inconveniences. Russian Railways (RZD) established airport rail company in year 2005 and they have operated Aero-Express train from downtown of Moscow to major airports. Intermodal transport system was considered to the construction of Russian airport rail system, and various types of tickets and airport rail terminals are operated by RZD, and subsidiary businesses with airline companies are promoted. This study will analyze the success factors of Moscow airport rail system and introduce the success effects, and considering points for the operation of Incheon airport rail terminal in the future.
