Developing countries have faced serious difficulties in implementing customs procedures. For example, they have experienced heavy administrative constraints such as lack of qualified personnel and non-computerization. Some importers in developing countries have tried to undervalue or overvalue the imported goods and misclassify them with the target of lowering the incidence of customs duties. In order to address these problems many of developing countries often require the exporter to get a Clean Report of Findings(CRF) issued by a preshipment inspection entity. This study tries to reply to the following questions with which the exporters are faced in the process of issuance of CRF. First, what are the provisions and regulations that the exporters have to note in the event a CRF is issued by the inspection entity? Second, how do the exporters safeguard their own rights in case of price verification? Third, how to protect the confidential business information to be submitted by the exporters in order to get a CRF? Fourth, how can the exporters respond to the improper conducts that the inspection entities have done?

The-state-of-the-art of rice drying in the U.S.A. is presented. The U.S.A. is a minor producer but major exporter of rice. Head yield is its major criterion in evaluating rice quality . A decrease of 1 to 3 points in head yield can be expected to occur in a well-designed rice-drying system. Rice is dried on the farm in bins in the U.S. A., and n high-temperature continuous -flow dryers at the elevator level. Two relatively new rice-drying systems are discussed in some detail. : The top-bin/in -bin-counterflow bin-type on-farm dryer, and the concurrent-flow high-temperature elevator dryer.

Jun activation domain-binding protein 1 (Jab1) is involved in various cellular mechanisms including development in Drosophila and mouse, cell cycle control and signal transduction pathways. Recent studies also determined that Jab1 functions as a nuclear exporter and inducer of cytoplasmic degradation for several proteins including p53, p27, capsid of West Nile virus, and Smad4/7 proteins. In particular, p53 is shown to bind to and to be exported into the cytoplasm by Jab1, which helps to maintain low levels of p53 under normal conditions. This review was undertaken in an effort to understand the biological significance of the homeostasis of p53 as maintained in the presence of Jab1. Based on our observations, we have provided potential mechanistic hypotheses for the nuclear export of p53 in coordination with Jab1 and the role of other factors in these processes.

Dairy development in India has emerged as one of the modern India's most successful development programmes. India's White Revolution, which has quietly swept the country during the past few decades, deserves attention equal to that given to the better known Green Revolution. India has become the largest milk producer in the world. From being a major importer of dairy products in the 1950s, India has now become an exporter. The strength of lndian dairy sector lies in the fact that despite of limited investment, it has shown consistent and sustainable growth. Presently India ranks first in the World milk production with 88.02 million tones (2002 03) with an annual growth rate of 4.2 per cent. Planning Commission estimates that by the end of Xth Plan, milk production may touch 100 million tones.

Nowadays, container transport services play a substantial role in global cargo transportation by serving as an intermodal between the exporter and importer. Container shipping has become increasingly important over the past few decades due to its obvious advantages. However, Vietnam's container market has shown severely ongoing competition among numerous domestic and foreign shipping lines resulting in serious consequences occurring such as the freight rates substantially decreasing within the last ten years. In fact, Vietnam's sea lanes have become more defensive to cover the losses of shipping companies. Selection of criteria for competitive evaluation of container transport companies is necessary to help recognize the problems within the enterprise especially relating to its position in the market and from here, business management are able to put strategic plans in place and reasonable policy in order to be able to survive and grow.

This paper investigates the relationships between exports, firm size, and firm dynamics. It is based on a longitudinal data covering listed firms in the Korean manufacturing industry. We found the stylized fact that the probability that a firm is exporter increases with firm size. A regression model for the determinant of export/sales ratio including dynamic adjustment process is tested on a cross-section sample for the year 2001. Empirical findings suggest that there is a positive and inversely U-shaped relationship between firm size and export/sales ratio, just for basic material and capital good industry. Except for firm size, the hypotheses concerning human capital intensity, physical capital intensity, R&D intensity, and patent are rejected. Using Granger causality test, we found that the rate of growth of total sales influences the change of the export/sales ratio with time lag for medium-sized firms. Finally, some policy implications are presented.

In this paper, we propose the algorithm which solve synchronization problem happened migrating service objects. Load imbalance is occurred due to allocate different amount of load to be proposed to each node in distribute system. To solve this problem, the service objects have to be migrated from heavily loaded node to lightly loaded node. And in such a process, the synchronization problem may occur when client request a service object migrated incompletely. Therefore, we describe the environment of executing service objects, the importer/exporter/trader model compatible with migration of service objects, and appropriate migration algorithm, Finally, we analyze the conditions of problems, and propose the solution of each situations. Also, the performance advantages of using proposed algorithms are quantified through a simulation study.

By carrying out researches on cost saving and how to shorten the period of apple to cultivate, it consolidates its stance as a competent apple exporting country of apple and pear with high competetiveness. In order to compete against apple and pear of New Zealand, farmers argue that they need budget and researchers also argue that "No money, no research." Due to certain limit of governmental budget support, it is believed that it is time to fund our own way to promote apple research center. To come up with the best apple production, all of those who associates with apple such as farmers, researchers, government, exporters, and consumer should do their best to enhance the apple and pear industry.

This study analyzes trade communication methods by comparing and analyzing payment methods and procedures of L/C and BPO transactions. As a result of the study, BPO transaction is validated based on the combination results of the confirmed baseline and data set unlike the L/C transaction. Therefore, BPO is superior to L/C transaction in that there is no confrontation between the parties over the matching results. And it can proceed with certain transaction that is paid first and proved later. In addition, the process of accepting data mismatches results in a confirmation of the payment commitment considering the intention of the importer. This allows flexible disposition of documents in response to the post payment situation as long as the documents are held by the exporter, which can be said to be superior to the L/C transaction.

Pakistan is a top producer and exporter of high-quality rice, but traditional methods are still being used for detecting rice diseases. This research project developed an automated rice blast disease diagnosis technique based on deep learning, image processing, and transfer learning with pre-trained models such as Inception V3, VGG16, VGG19, and ResNet50. The modified connection skipping ResNet 50 had the highest accuracy of 99.16%, while the other models achieved 98.16%, 98.47%, and 98.56%, respectively. In addition, CNN and an ensemble model K-nearest neighbor were explored for disease prediction, and the study demonstrated superior performance and disease prediction using recommended web-app approaches.
