창의적 공학설계방법론 교육에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Education of Creative Engineering Design Methodology)

  • The needs for enhancing creativity in engineering design education continue to increase. Recent studies about a learning environment and learning support tools provide some new possibilities. The education of creative thinking however must begin from the change of attitude of students to creativity. The experimental results and some lessons for modification of systematic engineering design methodology to creative were reported from the course 'engineering design'.

  • Unification of neural network with a hierarchical pattern recognition is presented for recognizing large set of objects. A two-step identification procedure is developed for pattern recognition: coarse and fine identification. The coarse identification is designed for finding a class of object while the fine identification procedure is to identify a specific object. During the training phase a course neural network is trained for clustering larger set of reference objects into a number of groups. For training a fine neural network, expert neural network is also trained to identify a specific object within a group. The presented idea can be interpreted as two step identification. Experimental results are given to verify the proposed methodology.

  • In this paper the method which can intensify effect of education and experiment in the subject of power electronics Is Introduced. Besides theoretical lectures by textbook during 3 hours a week, students can out the simulation and experiment using PSIM, special simulation program for power electronics, and 'Power Electronics Training System', experimental equipments of Lab-Volt Ltd. for power electronics, and 'Data Acquisition & Management System' Thus students can have profound understandings and experiences about various practical situations.

  • This paper is concerned with a conceptual design of a knowledge-based modeler for network analysis. The "knowledge-based modeler" approach is suggested as a method for incorporating the user's qualitative knowledge and subjective decison in the course of the mathematical modeling and the subsequent solution procedure. The submodules of the proposed modeler such as database, model/algorithm base and functional knowledge bases are identified and the flows of information between the submodules are sequentially defined. A prototype system is implemented for experimental purpose by using the application software GURU.ware GURU.

  • With the growth in computer and network technologies, some content-based music retrieval systems have been developed. However, their retrieval efficiency does not satisfy user's requirement yet. Of course users hope to have a more efficient and higher precision for music retrieval. In this paper so for these reasons, we Propose an efficient content-based music retrieval algorithm using melodies represented as music sequences. From the experimental result, it is shown that the proposed algorithm has higher exact rate than the related algorithms.

서울소재 교육대학원 가정교육전공 교육과정에 대한 운영실태와 교육대학원생의 인식 (The Operation of Home Economics Education Course in Graduate School of Education and the Graduate Students' Perception)

  • 서울 소재 11개 교육대학원 가정교육전공 교육과정에 대한 운영 실태를 자료를 통해 조사하고, 가정교과에 대한 교육대학원생의 인식을 설문지를 통해 살펴보았다. 가정교육전공 교육목표는 공통적으로 가정과 교사의 재교육, 전문성 향상과 유능한 가정교육 전문가를 양성하는 것이었다. 졸업 이수학점은 대부분 30학점이고, 교직과목은 $6{\sim}8$학점, 전공과목은 $16{\sim}21$학점, 논문 학점은 $3{\sim}6$학점이었다. 전임교수의 확보가 부족하고, 3개 학교만이 사범대에 가정교육과가 개설되어 있었다. 교직과목은 교사자격 검정령에 의한 과목이 공통으로 개설되었다. 전공과목은 가정교과교육, 의류학, 식품영양학 영역의 교과목 개설 비중이 높고, 소비자.가정 관리학, 아동 가족학, 주거학 영역은 상대적으로 비중이 낮았다. 교육대학원생은 교육대학원의 기능을 교과교육 전문가 양성, 교원양성기관, 교사 재교육 순으로 인식하였다. 가정교육과 학부출신과 직업이 교사인 학생은 교사 재교육에, 타과 출신과 교사가 아닌 학생은 교원양성기관에 더 높게 인식하였다. 운영에 대한 만족도는 전반적으로 낮게 나타났고, 가정교과 교육과정에 대한 만족도는 보통이나 특히 전공과목 중 실험 실습에 대한 만족도가 매우 낮게 나타났다. 직업에 따른 만족도 비교는 교직과목에서만 유의한 차이가 나타났는데 교사가 아닌 교육대학원생이 교사보다 만족도가 높았다. 교사인 경우 전공과목의 학교현장 활용도가 높아 실제 수업을 할 때 전공과목이 도움이 된다고 생각하였다. 개선안으로는 전임교수의 확보와 전공과목 개설확대를 요구하였다.

프리셉터 교육이 프리셉터 역할인식과 역할갈등 및 전문직 자아개념에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Preceptor Preparation Education on the Preceptor's Role Recognition, Role Conflict and Professional Self-Concept)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of preceptor preparation education on the preceptor's role recognition, role conflict and professional self-concept. Method: A Quasi-experimental design with non-equivalant control group was used. The subjects included 39 nurses, 19 in experimental group, and 20 in the control group. The program consisted of introduction of preceptor education program & curriculum, change of hospital management environment, the newest trend of nursing course, concept of preceptorship, steps of preceptorship, role of preceptor, attitude of preceptor, role of education, etiquette in nursing situation, policy of clinical education ability improvement, communication, conflict management, nursing ethics, contents concerned nursing professionalist, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and medication. The data was collected from September 29 to November 17, 2007 using a structured questionnaire. Result: Preceptor's role recognition was increased significantly in the experimental group. However, role conflict and professional self-concept weren't significantly changed in the experimental group, compared to the control group. Conclusion: This study provides evidence for potential and beneficial effect of preceptor preparation education program on nurses.

가설 생성 학습 후에 나타난 초등 예비교사의 뇌파 변화 (EEG Changes after Learning for Hypothesis-Generation in Elementary Pre-service Teachers)

  • Changes in the brain activities following pre-service elementary teachers' learning hypothesis-generation were investigated using the analysis of EEG relative power and EEG coherence. In this study, the experimental group (n=16) were trained using learning methods for hypothesis-generation and the control group(n=16) were trained using learning methods for hypothesis-reception over the course of 8 weeks. EEG was measured before and following the learning process for both groups. Decreased theta ($4{\sim}7.9Hz$)/alpha 1 ($8{\sim}9.9Hz$) power and increased alpha 2 ($10{\sim}l2.9Hz$)/beta ($13{\sim}29.9Hz$)/gamma ($30{\sim}50Hz$) power were showed in the experimental group. Additionally, many changes in brian activities were observed for theta, beta and gamma coherence in the experimental group. In particular, fronto-parietal coherence increased in the experimental group. These differences in brain activities between the two groups suggest that the learning for subjects' hypothesis generation presumably leads to interesting changes in some types of brain activities in pre-service elementary teachers.

Experimental Results of Ship's Maneuvering Test Using GPS

  • The Kinematic GPS is well known to provide a quite good accuracy of positioning within an level. Although kinematic GPS assures high precision measurement on the basis of an appreciable distance between a reference station and an observational point, it has measurable distance restriction within 20 km from a reference station on land. Therefore, it is necessary to make out a simple and low-cost method to obtain accurate positioning information without distance restriction In this paper, the velocity integration method to get the precise velocity information of a ship is explained. The experimental results of Zig-zag maneuver and Williamson turn as the ship's maneuvering test, and other experimental results of ship's movement during leaving and entering the port with low speed were shown. From the experimental results, ship's course, speed and position are compared with those obtained by kinematic-GPS, velocity integration method and dead reckoning position using Gyro-compass and Doppler-log.
