크리깅의 실험계획법 (Design of Experiment for kriging)

  • Approximate optimization has become popular in engineering field such as MDO and Crash analysis which is time consuming. To accomplish efficient approximate optimization, accuracy of approximate model is very important. As surrogate model, Kriging have been widely used approximating highly nonlinear system . Because Kriging employs interpolation method, it is adequate for deterministic computer simulation. Because there are no random errors and measurement errors in deterministic computer simulation, instead of classical DOE ,space filling experiment design which fills uniformly design space should be applied. In this work, various space filling designs such as maximin distance design, maximum entropy design are reviewed. And new design improving maximum entropy design is suggested and compared.

노인 사용자를 고려한 전자렌지의 유니버셜 디자인 (The Universal Design of Microwave Oven considering Old Persons)

  • Universal design is an approach to create environments and products that recognizes the diversity of users, regardless of their ability or age. Recently, old person and disabled person rapidly go on increasing in number. So, universal design concept becomes more and more important in product and environment, etc. In this study, we dealt with the universal design problem of microwave oven considering old persons. New design model for microwave oven was developed and evaluated using human factors approach. The principles of universal design was developed through literature survey and questionnaire survey for old persons, and then design alternatives were developed according to these principles. Two experiments were performed in this study. The purpose of the first experiment was to select final design alternative and the experiment was performed using rapid prototypes. The second one was a usability testing for the real model of final alternative. In this experiment, the real model was compared with the existing real product. As the result, the new design model was a little more excellent than the existing model in usability.

직교배열실험을 이용한 자동채염기 구조설계의 민감도해석과 대리모델 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Surrogate Models and Sensitivity Analysis for Structure Design of Automatic Salt Collector Using Orthogonal Array Experiment)

  • 본 논문은 다양한 설계하중조건 상태에서 자동채염기 구조설계의 성능분석과 개선을 위해 실험계획법을 이용한 설계민감도 평가와 대리모델의 특성에 대한 비교연구를 수행하였다. 실험계획법은 수치해석 기반의 직교배열설계 방법을 이용하였다. 설계인자는 주요 구조부재의 두께치수 변수를 고려하였고, 응답치는 중량과 강도성능을 선정하였다. 직교배열실험을 통해 설계인자 별 응답치에 대한 정량적인 영향도를 분석하였다. 또한 최소의 중량증감으로 구조성능을 개선할 수 있는 최적의 설계조건을 탐색하였다. 직교배열실험 결과를 이용하여 반응표면모델, 크리깅모델, 그리고 체비쇼프 직교 다항식과 같은 다양한 대리모델을 생성하였다. 대리모델의 결과를 통해 직교배열실험 결과의 타당성을 검증하였다. 자동채염기 구조설계 공간 탐색에는 반응표면모델이 가장 적합한 대리모델로 평가되었다.

  • This study proposes the generation mechanism of various design matrix using generalized linear model for design of experiment. Design generation method of GLM analysis, factorial design(FD) with center points, ANOVA design with lack-of-fit test, and response surface design are introduced. In central composite(CC) design, orthogonal blocking and fractional factorial design(FFD) are presented. We compare the design of Box-Benhken(BB) and face-centred central compsite design.

  • It reflects well feature of slope that is characteristic of city river basin of Pusan local. Process various hydrological datas and basin details datas which is collected through basin basis data. weather satellite equipment(EMS-DEU) and automatic water level equipment(AWS-DEU) and use as basin input data of ILLUDAS model, SWMM model and HEC-HMS model In order to examine outflow feature of experiment basin and then use in reservoir design of experiment basin through calibration and verification about HEC-HMS model. Inserted design rainfall for 30 years that is design criteria of creek into HEC-HMS model and then calculated design floods according to change aspect of the impermeable rate. Capacity of reservoir was determined on the outflow mass curve. Designed imagination reservoir(volume $54,000m^3$) at last outlet upper stream of experiment basin, after designing reservoir. It could be confirmed that the peak flow was reduced resulting from examining outflow aspect. Designing reservoir must decrease outflow of urban areas.

Parametric Study on Oscillating Water Column Wave Energy Converter Applicable to Breakwater

  • This paper presents a parametric study on an oscillating water column (OWC) wave energy converter (WEC). This OWC has been planned for installation in the breakwaters on isolated islands located away from the mainland. Both a numerical analysis and a model experiment are utilized for determining a proper conceptual design for this purpose. Various design parameters, including the configurations and dimensions, are evaluated through the numerical analysis, which is based on a potential flow theory, and several design concepts are then selected as candidates. The model experiment using a 2D wave flume is conducted to evaluate the effects of the design parameters and compare the performances of the candidates. Based on the overall results of the numerical analysis and model experiment, a conceptual design of the OWC WEC applicable to a breakwater is selected.

  • Crossover design is officially except for special occasions recommended by KFDA and FDA for assessing Bioequivalence between two drugs one for reference and the other for innovator. Such design is regarded as a special case of latin square split-polt or repeated measurement design and its main difference with other designing methods is that each subject in an experiment is exposed two drugs in sequence. Therefore general statistical analysis is not suitable since the model for this experiment includes carryover effect in addition to period and sequence effect. in this paper analysis for crossover model with two drugs and its interpretation are mainly discussed and an example is given for illustration.

다구찌 실험계획을 이용한 트랙터 캐빈 프레임의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of Tractor Cabin Frame Using Design of Experiment of Taguchi)

  • 농업용 트랙터는 전도 사고 발생 시 운전자를 보호하기 위해 전도보호구조(ROPS: Roll Over Protective Structures)의 역할을 할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 ROPS 강도시험 규격을 만족하는 트랙터 캐빈 프레임의 제작 기간과 비용을 줄이기 위해서 유한요소해석과 최적설계를 수행하였다. 해석 결과로부터 얻은 변위와 주 변형률의 크기를 통해 캐빈 프레임의 초기설계안은 ROPS 강도시험에 합격하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 캐빈 프레임의 경량화 설계안을 도출하기 위하여 다구찌 실험계획을 이용해 최적설계를 수행하였다. 이를 통하여 캐빈 프레임 무게가 초기설계안보다 7% 저감된 최적설계안을 도출하였다.

지능형 성숙도 모델을 이용한 소프트웨어 집약 시스템의 전투실험 프로세스 설계 및 적용 (Design and Application of the Warfighting Experiment Process Using the Intelligent Maturity Model in Software Intensive Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 지능형 성숙도 모델을 이용한 소프트웨어 집약 시스템의 전투실험 프로세스 설계를 제안하고 스마트 무인항공기의 표적탐색 능력에 적용한 결과를 제시한다. 이를 위해 먼저 소프트웨어 집약 시스템의 지능형 정도를 평가할 수 있는 지능형 성숙도 모델을 영역 수준 및 지능 수준을 고려하여 설계한다. 그런 다음 전투실험 프로세스 설계를 위해 ISO/IEC-12207과 CMMI 프로세스를 LITO 분야별로 분류하고 이를 전투실험 5요소와 매핑하여 전투실험 요소별 그리고 전투실험 단계별로 프로세스를 도출한다. 도출된 프로세스를 기반으로 IDEF0 표기법을 이용하여 전투실험 프로세스를 설계한다. 마지막으로 제안한 전투실험 프로세스는 스마트 무인항공기(UAV)를 개발하거나 획득 시에 요구되는 표적탐색 능력에 적용하며 그 결과도 제시한다.

FE Model Based Parametric Study Support System

  • In preliminary ship design, a parametric study is a more realistic way to explore design space and analyze design problem than an optimization technique due to time-consuming computational work or a difficulty in incorporating all constraints into the optimization formulation. In the parametric study, feasible alternatives are examined in various aspects; the best one can be selected. Among the aspects, the strength assessment by FE analysis is an essential process in the ship design. This paper proposes a system to facilitate a parametric study for FE model based on design of experiment (DOE). It works on a FE pre-processor environment and assists a user to define a parametric study by interacting with FE model. It also provides an interface module with a FE solver in order to control the input file and extract predefined FE results from the output file. Based on the proposed system, a better understating and a better design are expected to be achieved.
