  • This paper implements an AR manual for a vehicle that can be used even in the vehicle interior space where it is difficult to apply the augmentation method of AR content, which is mainly used, and applies a deep learning model to improve the augmentation matching between real space and virtual objects. Through deep learning, the logo of the steering wheel is recognized regardless of the position, angle, and inclination, and 3D interior space coordinates are generated based on this, and the virtual button is precisely augmented on the actual vehicle parts. Based on the same learning model, the function to recognize the main warning light symbols of the vehicle is also implemented to increase the functionality and usability as an AR manual for vehicles.

  • The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data for developing a program for effective education about GDM(Gestational Diabetes Mellitus) by investigating the knowledge and learning needs of pregnant women about GDM. The subjects were 192 pregnant women who visited obstetrical clinics for prenatal care. The data were collected from October, 1998 to December, 1999, using a 50-item questionnaire(knowledge ; 30 items, learning needs ; 20 items), and analyzed by SAS program for t-test, ANOVA, Ducan test, and Pearson correlation coefficients. The results were as follows. 1. The knowledge level about GDM 1) Pregnant women had very little knowledge(total means ; 15.1 of 30.0) about GDM. 2) Pregnant women more than 30 years old, pregnant women from Seoul, and pregnant women who had more than a bachelor's degree were more knowledgeable about GDM. 3) Pregnant women who didn't experience spontaneous abortions, pregnant women who had DM(Diabetes Mellitus) patients in their families, and pregnant women who received education about DM were more knowledgeable about GDM. 4) Pregnant women knew very well that GDM women have more maternal and fetal complications than normal pregnant women. Although they were knowledgeable about the importance and ways of controlling blood glucose level, they knew very little about the causes, symptoms, or management of hypoglycemia. 2. The learning needs about GDM 1) Pregnant women had high learning needs (total means ; 85.0 of 100.0) about GDM. 2) The learning needs of pregnant women who had more than a bachelor's degree and pregnant women who earned less than two million won in monthly income were higher than that of other groups. 3) Pregnant women had high learning needs about the health of their baby and themselves, but their learning needs related to weight control and exercise-things that play important roles in controlling blood glucose level-were relatively low. As a result of the above findings, a systemic and individualized program is required for pregnant women and GDM patients, In addition to that, further studies that investigate the effects of education and retention of learning obtained by education are required in the near future.

  • The purpose of this study is to derive implications for the design of the next curriculum by analyzing the textbooks designed as a new subject in the 2015 revised curriculum. In the mathematics curriculum documents of , 'related learning elements' are presented instead of 'learning elements'. 'Related learning elements' are defined as mathematical concepts or principles that can be used in the context of artificial intelligence, but there are no specific restrictions on the amount and scope of dealing with 'related learning elements'. Accordingly, the aspects of 'related learning elements' reflected in the textbooks were analyzed focusing on the textbook format, the amount and scope of contents, and the ways of using technological tools. There were differences in the format of describing 'related learning elements' in the textbook by textbook and the amount and scope of handling mathematics concepts. Although similar technological tools were dealt with in each textbook so that 'related learning elements' could be used in the context of artificial intelligence, the focus was on computations and interpretation of results. In order to fully reflect the intention of the curriculum in textbooks, a systematic discussion on 'related learning elements' will be necessary. Additionally, in order for students to experience the use of mathematics in artificial intelligence, substantialized activities that can set and solve problems using technological tools should be included in textbooks.

  • This study is aimed at researching the applicability of teaching-learning models in highschool geography class by designing the models on the basis of geographical experience the learners go through everyday life. The procedures and results of the application of the models are as followed. First, the systematization of the teaching concepts should be preceded to internalize the learners cognitive development, that is, to systemize cognitive structure. The concrete learning points of geographical concepts from the units about Migration and Population Changes are systemized with 'migration' as a higher concept, 'moving type' as basic concept, 'moving factors' as the lower concept. Everyday geographical experiences the students can go through are surveyed. Second, as preparation for the geography class, hand-outs about family-moving history and the change of the family number were used as basic material for real class teaching activity, showing the learners' general concepts are very effective as basic units which can be easily understood and accessed to. Third, with the experimental class, the geography class should secure the flexibility on the teaching-learning process. The result of applying the newly developed teaching-learning model to actual geography classes was that experimental group had higher achievement rate than the compared group with general teaching-learning model applied to. The result of analyzing students' response of the new teaching-learning model was that the students were interested and satisfied emphatically and they showed positive response in regard to practical use of the contents. Here, it is noticeable that the new teaching-learning model causes the students to be interested. But it's also found that there's no big difference in improving the students' inquisitive mind.

  • Early conflict research in channel and organization area have focused on the definition of conflict construct, its cause, consequence and identified conflict resolution management. Recent studies about conflict, however, have explored new assumption of complexity, a multidimensional conflict construct, contextual conflict management strategies, positive and negative conflict/consequence, and the conflict resolution strategy. Although many literatures exists on channel conflict resolution, little research has been done about relationship learning and performance from conflict resolution perspective. This study explores how channel members can achieve a relationship learning, as a conflict resolution mechanism, which enhance co-created value in marketing channel relationship. Therefore we propose that conflict resolution strategies(collaborating behavior and avoiding behavior) influence channel performance(effectiveness and efficiency) through relationship learning processes(learning via information exchange, joint interpretation and coordination, relationship-specific knowledge memory), in view of buyer-seller relationship. The research model is shown at

. A total of twelve hypotheses were established through prior studies dealing with conflict and relationship marketing theory. Then we drove conceptual research model. For the purpose of empirical testing, we managed to obtain the list of suppliers of 24 retailers from 5 retailer formats, such as department store, discount store, convenience store, TV home-shopping and internet shopping mall. They were asked to respond to the survey via face-to-face interview conducted by a professional research company. During the one month period of June 2009, we were able to collect data form 490 suppliers. The respondent were restricted to direct dealing authorities and manager with at least three months of dealing experience with retailers. Structural equation modeling on the basis of the results of survey were done to analyze. As a result, eight among twelve hypotheses were supported. The analysis result indicated that collaborating behavior had positive effect on three forms of relationship learning, but avoiding behavior has negative effect on only information exchange. Joint interpretation and coordination, relationship-specific knowledge memory had positive effect on relationship performances, but information exchange had no effect on performances. The results support our basic thesis that the use of conflict resolution strategies have different effect on developing relationship learning, which leads to channel performances. In particular, collaborating behavior is positively related to relationship learning, and avoidance behavior is negatively related to information exchange. Relationship learning is partially contributed to channel performance.

  • This quasi-experimental study examined the experience of simulation clothes and its effects among undergraduate nursing students. Method: The experimental group consisted of 44 sophomore students in a diploma nursing program, while 41 students comprised the comparison group. Only the experimental group experienced the functional decline of aging after taking on simulation clothes. Homogeneity between the groups was analyzed using t-test, and Fisher's exact test. Paired t-test and t-test were adopted for testing changes of attitudes and awareness of supporting elders. In addition, contents of students' reports of the aging simulation experience were analyzed. Results: No significant quantitative effect was observed in attitudes toward elders and awareness of supporting elders. However, the simulation experience seemed to have enhanced students' understanding of elders and of basic elder care as well. Furthermore, the students could think of preparing for their later lives. Conclusion: The experience of simulation clothes is a meaningful learning opportunity in gerontological nursing curriculum. Students' experiences need to be shared and reinforced in a discussion session. Safety should be secured in the process of the experience. The simulation experience can be further developed to raise its quality.

  • Genetic Algorithms are optimization algorithm that mimics biological evolution to solve optimization problems. Genetic algorithms provide an alternative to traditional optimization techniques by using directed random searches to locate optimal solutions in complex fitness landscapes. Hybrid genetic algorithm that is combined with local search called learning can sustain the balance between exploration and exploitation. The genetic traits that each individual in the population learns through evolution are transferred back to the next generation, and when this learning is combined with genetic algorithm we can expect the improvement of the search speed. This paper proposes a genetic algorithm based Cellular Learning with accelerated learning capability for function optimization. Proposed Cellular Learning strategy is based on periodic and convergent behaviors in cellular automata, and on the theory of transmitting to offspring the knowledge and experience that organisms acquire in their lifetime. We compared the search efficiency of Cellular Learning strategy with those of Lamarckian and Baldwin Effect in hybrid genetic algorithm. We showed that the local improvement by cellular learning could enhance the global performance higher by evaluating their performance through the experiment of various test bed functions and also showed that proposed learning strategy could find out the better global optima than conventional method.
