In recent years, new media art is developing to play its roles as a means of remediation to overturn, reuse, and alter the old technologies rather than technology-dependent art to accept new technologies and use them as artistic tools. Here, the concept of new should mean looking at the old technologies in an indirect way and finding new meanings in them rather than presenting new technologies. The starting point of this study was the concept of spatialization in which the concept of new media art would externalize games from inside to outside the screen in gamification-applied spaces. Participatory new media art adds a platform for viewer's participation and utilizes the entire space of the exhibition hall instead of allowing for simple viewing at the exhibition hall. The study focused on the changes and phenomena in the process of games belonging to the artistic space through the interactivity of gamification. Here, the premise was that gamification meant the "spatialization of games." The study examined several cases of games being altered in the spatialization process to figure out interactivity for viewers and developmental directions for interface design at a gallery.

To achieve color diversification of natural dyeing, color mixture dyeing with Indigo and Japanese pagoda tree is applied to wool and silk fabrics. After dyeing with Japanese pagoda tree extract solution of 5~25%(o.w.f.), the indigo dyeing was carried out up to four times. Alternatively after repeat dyeing with indigo one to seven times, the dyeing with Japanese pagoda tree extract solution was applied in 5 steps(5~25%). In color mixture dyeing, the dye uptake of wool fabrics appears higher than that of silk. The sequence of Japanese pagoda tree extract dyeing after Indigo dyeing was generally higher dye uptake compared with that of Indigo dyeing after Japanese pagoda tree extract dyeing. For wool and silk fabric, the pre-dyeing with Japanese pagoda tree solution was more effective for color diversification but the pre-dyeing with Indigo was more effective for the exhibition of intermediate color shade.

The MMSE-STSA based speech enhancement algorithm is widely used as a preprocessing for noise robust speech recognition. It weighs the gain of each spectral bin of the noisy speech using the estimate of noise and signal power spectrum. In this paper, we investigate the influence of parameters used to estimate the speech signal and noise power in MMSE-STSA upon the recognition performance of noisy speech. For experiments, we use the Aurora2 DB which contains noisy speech with subway, babble, car, and exhibition noises. The HTK-based continuous HMM system is constructed for recognition experiments. Experimental results are presented and discussed with our findings.

During the course of its efforts to host the 2012 EXPO in Yeosu, Korea, the Korean government promised to the members of the International Exhibition Bureau (BIE) to adopt the so-called Yeosu Declaration. Considering the year 2012 will likely witness the adoption of another global scale environmental declaration as such as the Stockholm, Rio and Johannesburg Declarations, Yeosu Declaration may contribute not only to emphasizing the theme of the 2012 Yeosu EXPO, The Living Ocean and Coast: Diversity of Resources and Sustainable Activities, but also to sharing its efforts to protect the environment with the international society. As there has been no precedence of adopting any declaration in the history of EXPO, a careful preparation for the adoption of Yeosu Declaration is necessary as suggested in this article.

박물관은 문화유산을 직접 확인할 수 있는 역사교육의 산실로서 매우 중요한 역할을 함에도 불구하고 관람객이 지속적으로 감소하여 왔다. 이에 대한 주요 요인으로는 전시내용의 고정 및 콘텐츠의 부족, 일방적인 정보 전달에 치중함으로써 관람객의 흥미 유발을 이끌어 내지 못하는 것을 들 수 있다. 일부 박물관은 모바일 장비를 이용한 가상 및 증강현실 관람을 도입하고 있으나, 기술적인 한계와 조작의 불편함, 몰입도의 부족으로 인해 큰 효과를 보지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 관람객이 재방문하고 싶은 박물관을 만들기 위해 혼합현실을 기반으로 한 박물관 전시 콘텐츠를 제작한다. 제작된 콘텐츠는 혼합현실을 이용함으로써 가상, 증강현실 콘텐츠보다 몰입감과 현실감을 높일 수 있다. 또한, 관람객과 상호작용할 수 있도록 혼합현실 기반 웨어러블 기기를 사용함으로써 생생한 전시물 체험을 할 수 있다.

First, we propose service function, service process, and relationships between participants to give shape to the service model. Jansen Mechanism has been a constant popularity by researchers studying legged robots because of many benefits. This paper proposed the design process of optimized legged robots using Jansen Mechanism and m.Sketch(Jansen Mechanism simulation software). First, driving part of legged robots is designed in compliance with the design regulations of a competitive exhibition. Second, setting the length of link and position of joint is conducted in keeping with the constraints. Third, Ground Length (GL) and Ground Angle Coefficient(GAC) values are extracted by m.Sketch simulation. Finally, by repeating the previous procedures, comparing the GL and GAC values, find the optimum input values. This.

The digital technology that has brought about the information revolution acts as the causes of multi-faceted socio-cultural phenomena. The spread of the digital environment and the popularity of the digital devices accelerate the phenomenon or the fusion of culture and technology, and such a phenomenon is no exception in the fashion design. Namely, the combination of fashion design and digital-based technology draws more and more attention; Not only the technology is simply applied to the fashion design, but also it is used as an emotional tool to enhance consumers' satisfaction, while some designs and marketing cases stimulating consumers' emotion are highlighted importantly. This study was aimed at surveying and analyzing the contemporary fashion using the digital technology and thereupon, assessing the characteristics of the emotional representations of technology as well as their aesthetic values. To this end, the theory of 'science of emotion and sensibility' was applied to divide the characteristics of emotional technological expressions in the contemporary fashion into immateriality, non-boundary, multi-media and interaction, while the aesthetic values of the emotional technology immanent in the contemporary fashion were categorized into communication & participation, conceptual configuration, physical expansion and variable movement. This study analyzed uses of technology for human emotion and sensibility shown in not only collections but also communication media and exhibition spaces and thereby, suggested the direction for our fashion industry to fulfill consumers' changing needs and advance further.
