This paper outlines opportunities and challenges in the implementation of BPEL based WFMS(WorkFlow Management System) for the MES(Manufacturing Execution Systems) in semiconductor manufacturing. At present, the most MESs in semiconductor wafer fabrication shop have the problems in terms of application software integration, reactivity, and adaptability. When a plant has to produce new product mix, remodel the manufacturing execution process, or replace obsolete equipments, the principal road blocks for responding to new manufacturing environment are the difficulties in porting existing application software to new configurations. In this paper, the issues about WFMS technologies including BPEL standard applied for MES are presented. And then, we introduce the integrated development framework named nanoFlow which is optimized for developing the BPEL based WFMS application for automated manufacturing system. And we describe a WFMS implemented with using nanoFlow framework, review and evaluate the system.

Welding fabrication invariantly involves three district sequential steps: preparation, actual process execution and post-weld inspection. One of the major problems in automating these steps and developing autonomous welding systems, is the lack of proper sensing strategies. Conventionally, machine vision is used in robotic arc welding only for the correction of pre-taught welding paths in single pass. In this paper, novel presented, developed vision processing techniques are detailed, and their application in welding fabrication is covered. The software for joint tracking system is finally proposed.

Template tracking refers to the procedure of finding the most similar image patch corresponding to the given template through an image sequence. In order to obtain more accurate trajectory of the template, the template requires to be updated to reflect various appearance changes as it traverses through an image sequence. To do that, appearance images are used to model appearance variations and these are obtained by the computation of the principal components of the augmented image matrix at every iteration. Unfortunately, it is prohibitively expensive to compute the principal components at every iteration. Thus in this paper, we suggest a new Sliding Window based truncated URV Decomposition (TURVD) algorithm which enables updating their structure by recycling their previous decomposition instead of decomposing the image matrix from the beginning. Specifically, we show an efficient algorithm for updating and downdating the TURVD simultaneously, followed by the rank-one update to the TURVD while tracking the decomposition error accurately and adjusting the truncation level adaptively. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm produces no-meaningful differences but much faster execution speed compared to the typical algorithms in template tracking applications, thereby maintaining a good approximation for the principal components.
The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of Teacher Participation-oriented Education Program (TPEP) for Elementary School Teachers to Improve Class Expertise in Science Classes with a focus on visual attention. The participants were two elementary school teachers in Seoul and taught science subjects. The lesson topic applied to this study were 'Structure and Function of Our Body' in the second semester of fifth grade and 'Volcano and Earthquake' in the second semester of fourth grade. The mobile eye tracker SMI's ETG 2w, which is a binocular tracking system was used in this study. In this study, the actual practice time, participant's visual attention, visual intake time average, and visual intake time average were analyzed by class phase. The results of the study are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the actual class execution time, the actual class execution time was almost in line with the lesson plan after the TPEP application. Second, visual attention in the areas related to teaching and learning activities was high after applying TPEP. Factors affecting the progress of the class and cognitive burdens were identified quantitatively and objectively through visual attention. Third, as a result of analyzing the visual intake time average of participants, there was a statistically significant difference in all classes. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the visual intake time average of participants, the results were statistically significant in the introduction(video), activity 1, activity 2, and activity 3 stages in the lecture type class. The Teacher Participation-oriented Education Program (TPEP) for Elementary School Teachers to Improve Class Expertise in Science Classes can extend elementary science class expertise such as self-class analysis, eye tracking, linguistic, gesture, and class design beyond traditional class analysis and consulting.
Bluetooth technology provides a way to connect and exchange information between personal devices over a secure and short-range radio frequency without any authentication infrastructures. For this infrastructure-less feature, Bluetooth has several problems which could not occur in other network, and among them location tracking attacks is essential problem which should be solved. In this paper, we introduce the location tracking attack and propose an anonymous connection protocol against it. We also perform security analysis based on possible scenarios of this attack, and estimate both execution time and memory spaces of our scheme and existing methods.

According to wireless network technology and mobile processors performance were improved, the small wireless mobile device such as smart phones has been widely utilized. The mobile devices can be used GPS information, thereby the services based on location information was increased. GPS was impossible to provide location information in indoor and signal shading environment, and the tracking systems based on short distance wireless communication are required infrastructure. The IEEE 802.11 based tracking system is possible estimation using APs, however the tracking device is exhausted battery power seriously. In this paper, we propose IEEE 802.11 based low-power tracking system. We reduced power consumption from channel scanning and network connection. For performance evaluation, we designed and implemented the tracking tag device, and measured power consumption of the device. As the simulation result, we confirmed that the power consumption was reduced 46% compare to the standard execution.
Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) under partial shading condition (PSC) is a challenging process in the PV array system. The shaded PV panel makes different peak patterns on the P-V curve and misguides the MPPT algorithm. Various kinds of global MPP (GMPP) detecting algorithms are used to overcome this issue. Generally, too frequent execution of GMPP tracking algorithm reduces the achievable power of PV panel due to time spent on the scanning process. Thus, partial shading detection algorithm is essential for efficient utilization of solar energy source. While conventional method only detects fast shading patterns, the proposed algorithm always shows superb performance regardless of the speed of partial shading patterns.

Generally, general-purpose image processing system is so expensive that not so many users easily can access the system. In this paper attemps have been made to design and describe a general and economical image processing system for real-time aplications such as image data compression, pattern recognition and target tracking. The system comprises an operator console, image data acquisition/display sistem and IBM PC/XT. The system also utilizes a high speed Fairchild 16-bit microprocessor with ALU speed of 375 nsec for system control, algrithm execution and user computation. The system also can digitize /display a 256x 256x 8 bit image in real time and store two frames of images. All image pixels are directly accessible by the microprocessor for fast and efficient computation. Some experimental and illustrative results such as target tracking are presented to show the efficient performance of the system.

An utility voltage information, including the frequency, phase angle and amplitude is very important in many industrial systems. The grid-connected photovoltaic system in the limelight as alternative energy needs utility voltage information such as frequency, phase angle and magnitude to connect the grid-line. In this paper, it proposes the instantaneous phase-tracking in PLL that uses the frequency from the utility voltage as a sync signal and locks the phase with compensation for phase difference from DPT algorithm. It also proposes not only DFT algorithm execution by every sample not by one period, but also phase-tracking method in a wide range of frequency not a fixed one. This paper shows the feasibility and the usefulness of the proposed methods through the computer simulation and the experiment.
