Developments in aircraft require safety verification through flight testing for many hours with prototype design and production. The test evaluation step of performing flight tests was an important process that determines the success in the development of the system. In particular, safety development through flight tests in the armed flight test is important for the development of attack helicopters. In the development of attack helicopters, the evaluation period and cost related to the armed flight test are closely related to the required ammunition requirement. Therefore, this paper presents the amount of ammunition required for the military flight test between attack helicopter developments through an analysis of the AH-1 helicopter in a similar case and ADS-44-HDBK of military specification. The AH-1 can be used to calculate the ammunition demand by considering the exclusion of redundant firing tests and configuration differences. In the case of the machine gun-equipped configuration, approximately 10,500R was required, and approximately 324R was required in the case of a rocket-mounted configuration. In addition, if the armed integrated bench is used properly, it is expected to promote efficiently the flight test in the armed flight by identifying the possible risk factors with armed flight tests and excluding them.
Polydnaviruses (PDVs) are a group of double-stranded DNA viruses symbiotic to some endoparasitoid wasps. Cotesia plutellae bracovirus (CpBV) is a PDV symbiotic to an endoparasitoid wasp, C. plutellae, parasitizing young larvae of Plutella xylostella. An early expressed gene, CpBV-ELP1, plays an important role in the parasitism by suppressing host cellular immunity by its cytotoxic activity against hemocytes. This study aimed to test its oral toxicity against insect pest by expressing it in a recombinant tobacco plant. A recombinant CpBV-ELP1 protein was produced using a baculovirus expression system and secreted to cell culture medium. The cell cultured media were used to purify CpBV-ELP1 by a sequential array of purification steps: ammonium sulfate fractionation, size exclusion chromatography, and ion exchange chromatography. Purified rCpBV-ELP1 exhibited a significant cytotoxicity against Spodoptera exigua hemocytes. CpBV-ELP1 was highly toxic to the fifth instar larvae of S. exigua by injection to hemocoel. It also showed a significant oral toxicity to fifth instar larvae of S. exigua by a leaf-dipping assay. CpBV-ELP1 was cloned into pBI121 vector under CaMV 35S promoter with opaline synthase terminator. Resulting recombinant vector (pBI121-ELP1) was used to transform Agrobacterium tumefaciens LBA4404. The recombinant bacteria were then used to induce callus of a tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum Xanthi) leaves and subsequent generation (T1) plants were selected. T1 generation tobacco plants expressing CpBV-ELP1 gave significant insecticidal activities against S. exigua larvae. These results suggest that CpBV-ELP1 gene can be used to control insect pests by constructing transgenic crops.
The aim of the study was to determine the effects of Ixeris dentata extract (IDE) on anticancer activity in human breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells at both cellular and molecular levels. The cells were cultured in the presence of 0, 20, 30 and $40{\mu}g/mL$ Ixeris dentata extract for 24 hours, respectively. At the end of culture, cytochemical analyses for MTT activity, trypan blue dye exclusion, Annexin V-FITC Apoptosis, and radical oxygen species (ROS) were conducted. RT-PCR was also performed to determine whether or not alterations in cell viability affect the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio. MTT assay showed that relative cell viability decreased in a dose-dependent manner (p<0.05). Reduction of cell viability matched well with increased cell membrane permeability as determined by trypan blue dye exclusion test (p<0.05). The rates of intracellular ROS also increased in a similar manner to those of TB-stained cells. There was an associated shift of apoptotic cells from early to late apoptosis between the 30 and $40{\mu}g/mL$. Bax/Bcl-2 ratio significantly increased along with significant decreases in Bcl-2 expression between 30 and $40{\mu}g/mL$ groups (p<0.05). In conclusion, anticancer activity of Ixeris dentata extract is modulated by a reduction in cell viability along with increased membrane permeability, leading to ROS accumulation within cells, and subsequently cell death through an apoptotic pathway that involves Bax and Bcl-2 in human breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells.
To date, there was no controlled-study regarding awareness and knowledge of colorectal cancer in the Turkish population. We therefore designed a questionnaire consisting of items related to socio-demographic parameters, medical and family history and questions of awareness and knowledge about colorectal cancer for use in a descriptive cross-sectional study. An interviewer-administered technique was applied and 450 subjects were interviewed in the outpatient clinics at Near East University Hospital. Among all subjects, 337 were found to be eligible for the study group. Exclusion criteria were age below 18 years, any cancer history, family history of colorectal cancer, current colorectal problems, history of any diagnostic or therapeutic interventions for colorectal diseases. All participants stated that they heard about colorectal cancer. When asked about the lifetime risk of colorectal carcinoma, only 25.4% of women and 37.9% of men estimated correctly. Univariate analysis revealed that the total awareness score was significantly correlated with age, marital status, parenthood and fecal occult blood testing history. On multivariate analysis of independent predictors for awareness of colorectal cancer were found to be history of fecal occult blood testing, age and marital status were found to be the most important determinants. As a conclusion, opportunistic screening with fecal occult blood test by physicians from non-gastrointestinal specialties not only helps to reduce the mortality but also increases the awareness of colorectal cancer.
Background : Death by cancer, malignant tumor, is on the increase around the world. In South Korea, cancer is the number one cause of death, and, in South Korea, stomach cancer is the most common form of cancer. This may be due to genetic and enviornmental factors. Because stomach cancer is so prevalent here, this study was undertaken. Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the anti-cancer effects of Duchesnea indica(Andr.) Focke. in human stomach cancer cells(KATOIII). Materials & Methods: For human stomach cancer cells KATO III cells were obtained from Korea Cell Line Bank. The water decoction of Duchesnea indica(Andr.) Focke was added to cultures. First, morphological changes were examined under an inverted microscope. The destruction of stomach cancer cells was measured through Trypan blue exclusion testing, and suppression of viability of stomach cancer cells was measured via MTT assay. Anti-cancer mechanisms were assessed by analyzing the cell cycle. Results & Conclusions : In morphologic change, stomach cancer cells showed the withdrawn and floating appearance that is typical in cellular impairment. In each test group more stomach cancer cells were killed than in the control group to a statistically significant degree. Each test group showed more suppression of viability of stomach cancer cells than that of the control group to a statistically significant degree. Analysis of the cell cycle showed that Duchesnea indica(Andr.) Focke inhibited division of stomach cancer cells. This experiment yielded empirical evidence for Duchesnea indica(Andr.) Focke as a statistically significant anticarcinogen, specifically against stomach cancer.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of differences in exercise time arrangement on the functional recovery of the lower limbs and balance of stroke patients. METHODS: The subjects of this study were 100 patients who were hospitalized in two hospitals located in Gyeonggi-do. Before the experiment, 60 of these patients who met the inclusion criteria and did not meet the exclusion criteria were randomly divided into an experimental group (n = 30), whose exercise time was concentrated, and a control group (n = 30), whose exercise time was diffuse. The two groups underwent six weeks of physical and occupational therapy four times a day for five days a week. One session of therapy took 30 minutes, including three sets of physical therapy and one set of occupational therapy. The rest time between the sessions was different for each group. The experimental group had five minutes of rest between each therapy session, and the control group had two hours of rest time between each session. The Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA), an assessment of each patient's limit of stability (LOS), and a timed up and go test (TUG) were used as test tools. RESULTS: Both groups showed statistically significant increases in their FMA results, LOS measurements, and TUG results. The FMA results of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. CONCLUSION: Thus, concentrated exercise time was more effective than diffuse exercise time for the recovery of motor function.
A web application that allows a web service created by a internal developer who has security awareness show certain level of security. However, in the case of development by outsourcing, it is inevitable to implement the development centered on requested function rather than the issue of security. Thus in this paper, we improve the software testing process focusing on security for exclusion the leakage of important information and using an unauthorized service that results from the use of the vulnerable web application. The proposed model is able to consider security in the initial stage of development even when outsourced web application, especially, It can prevent the development schedule delay caused by the occurrence of modification for program created by programer who has low security awareness. This result shows that this model can be applied to the national defense area for increasing demand web application centered resource management system to be able to prevent service of web application with security vulnerability based on high test.
The main goal of periodontal regeneration is to be achieved by epithelial exclusion, periodontal ligament cell activation or alveolar bone regeneration. The purpose of this study was to investigate on the physico- chemical and biological characteristics of biodegradable chitosan beads. Chitosan beads were fabricated by ionic gelation with sodium tripolyphosphate and they had the size in 300um diameter. As therapeutic agent, flurbiprofen was incorporated into the beads by 10, 20% loading contents. The release of drugs from the chitosan beads was measured in vitro. Also, biological activity tests of flurbiprofen loaded chitosan beads including cytotoxicity test, ihhibition of $IL-1{\beta}$ production, suppression to $PGE_2$ production, collagenase inhibition test, the ability of total protein synthesis, and tissue response were evaluated. The amount of flurbiprofen released from chitosan was 33-50% during 7 days. Minimal cytotoxicity was observed in chitosan beads. Flurbiprofen released from chitosan beads significantly suppressed the $IL-1{\beta}$ production of monocyte, $PGE_2$ production and markedly inhibited collagenase activity. Meanwhile, flurbiprofen released from this system showed increased ability for protein synthesis. Throughout 4 -week implantation period, no significant inflammatory cell infiltrated around chitosan bead and also fibroblast like cell types at the beads - tissue interface were revealed with gradual degradation of implanted chitosan beads. From these results, it was suggested that flurbiprofen loaded chitosan beads can be effectively useful for biocompatible local delivery system in periodontal regeneration.

This study aimed to determine sleep disorders and associated risk factors in leukemia patients undergoing chemotherapy in Imam Khomeini Hospital of Sari, Iran. This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2015 with 100 patients selected. Inclusion criteria included complete mental and psychological health and being over 18 years old, and exclusion criteria included suffering other cancers, other chronic diseases, concurrent radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality standard questionnaire was used to collect data. The questionnaire consisted of mental sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep duration, sleep quality, sleep disturbances, use of sleeping drugs, and impaired daily functioning. Data were analyzed by software SPSS 18 and by using descriptive and inferential tests (Pearson, Spearman, T-test and chi-square). Totals of 47 men (47%) and 53 women (53%) with a mean age of $44.1{\pm}1.7$, participated in the study. The mean overall score of sleep quality was $9.3{\pm}3.9$, which represents the average sleep quality in most participants. T-test shows that males have better sleep quality than females (t=2.1; 95%CI:0.004-0.25; P<0.01). Also the sleep quality increased with age (r=0.22, P=0.03). Results show that the amount of sleep quality was only moderate in most patients, so it is necessary to take coping strategies to improve their quality of sleep.
This research aims to investigate the representative affective words and the structure among them to scrutinize user's affect revealed in the ride film based on three dimension stereoscopic image. Previous studies related to the affect were reviewed and the affect words well-suited for three dimension stereoscopic image were collected. Suitability test for two hundred six basic affect words gathered as the result was done from sixty two typical users and four experts. Seventy seven candidate affect words have been selected and by the exclusion of similarity among them, finally twenty six words were extracted from the reduction process. Consequently fifteen representative words and the structure as the network between each word were revealed by using free association test based on twenty six affect words. We propose the affect research including sensors, emotions, and affects related to moving image rather than still mage during doing research affects in most of the previous studies. The future work includes the affect space and the affect effect for ride film based on three dimension stereoscopic image. This study can be adopted practically in the production of ride films and provided with a basic design guideline.
