The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for family life welfare service program, and to develope the program for managing in the Community Centers. The survey was conducted by interviewing 356 users and 360 non-users of Community Center, total 716 persons living in Daegu City, from October 8 to October 30 in 2002. The data were analyzed by the SPSS PC+ program applying t-test and ANOVA. The results were as follows : First, overall the needs for family life welfare service program, consisting of education program, facilities management and counseling program, and event program, was higher than 3.7 points. The needs level for event program was a little higher than other two programs. Second, the level of needs for family life welfare service program differed between user group and non-user group of the Community Centers. Third, the level of needs for family life welfare service program varied according to the demographic variables, such as sex, age, marital status, family life cycle, education level, vocation, monthly average income and housing type. Finally, Based on the results of needs analysis, 11 education programs, 4 facilities management and counseling programs and 5 event programs were developed for family life welfare service program. These programs developed in this study could be applied to diverse groups classified by age, social class, family life cycle of citizens. Also the programs should be applied in terms of family unit, as well as individual base to enhance the function of family life.

The growth of mobile devices in Internet of Things (IoT) leads to a number of remote and controlling system related IoT applications. For instance, home automation controlling system uses client system such web apps on smartphone or web service to access the home server by sending control commands. The home server receives the command, then controls for instance the light system. The web service gateway responsible for handling clients' requests attests an internet latency when an increasing number of end users requests submit toward it. Therefore, this web service gateway fails to detect several commands, slows down predefined actions which should be performed without human intervention. In this paper, we investigate the performance of a web server-side platgorm based event-driven, non-blocking approach called Node.js against traditional thread-based server side approach to handle a large number of client requests simultaneously for remote and controlling system in IoT remote monitoring applications. The Node.JS is 40% faster than the traditional web server side features thread-based approach. The use of Node.js server-side handles a large number of clients' requests, then therefore, reduces delay in performing predefined actions automatically in IoT environment.

This paper proposes a policy-based quality of service (QoS) management framework for adaptive routing decisions. We present an approach considering interior gateway protocol (IGP) for path discovery mechanisms and QoS-aware policies for configuring the network elements. The integration of the aforementioned modules into this policy-based network management (PBNM) system is demonstrated by conducting experiments in a real environment, the hellenic public administration network SYZEFXIS. These experiments combine different traffic conditioning mechanisms through event detectors, consider IP service level agreement mechanisms that interoperate with the PBNM system and analyze the enforcement of IGP and QoS policies. Finally, validation and measurement tools are used to prove the efficiency of this framework. It is shown that this architecture offers significantly increased performance and learning capabilities, while the PBNM system achieves adaptive QoS routing through automated configuration considering the avoidance of suboptimal routing issues or under-performance conditions of the network entities.

인터넷과 컴퓨터 기술의 발전으로 다자간에 실시간 회의를 진행할 수 있는 컨퍼런스(Conference) 서비스에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)를 기반으로 하여 presence 서비스를 포함한 음성과 영상 회의가 가능한 컨퍼런스 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이를 위해 구성한 시스템의 요소는 컨퍼런스 UA(User Agent)의 기능을 가진 사용자 시스템과 Presence 서버 및 컨퍼런스 서버이다. Presence 서비스는 SIP PUBLISH 메시지를 이용한 Publication 방식을 사용하여 사용자들 간의 다양한 상태 정보 파악과 컨퍼런스로의 초청 및 참여가 쉽도록 구현하였다. 다자간의 연결 설정 및 관리를 담당하는 컨퍼런스 서버에는 컨퍼런스 이벤트 패키지(Conference Event Package)를 포함시켜 동적으로 변화하는 컨퍼런스 정보 및 참여자의 정보를 SIP의 등록(Subscription)과 알림(Notification) 기능을 통해 제공하도록 하였다.

The location-based service is one of the most powerful services in the mobile area. The location-based service provides information service for moving user's location information and information service using wire / wireless communication. In this paper, we propose a model for personalized recommendation system which includes location information and personalized recommendation system for location-based service. For this service system, we consider mobile clients that have a limited resource and low bandwidth. Because it is difficult to input the words at mobile device, we must deliberate it when we design the interface of system. We design and implement the personalized recommendation system for location-based services(advertisement, discount news, and event information) that support user's needs and location information. As a result, it can be used to design the other location-based service systems related to user's location information in mobile environment. In this case, we need to establish formal definition of moving objects and their temporal pattern.

인터넷 망에서 멀티미디어 컨퍼런스를 실현하고자 하는 노력은 이 십여년도 넘게 지속되고 있으며, H.323기반의 컨퍼런스 제어에 대한 표준 기술 및 관련된 많은 응용들이 개발되어 왔다. 그러나, 이러한 연구 노력은 표준 기술의 복잡성 등의 문제를 안고 있다. 반면, 인터넷 망에서의 멀티미디어 컨퍼런스에 대한 사용자의 요구는 점점 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 사용자 요구와 기존의 컨퍼런스 표준 프로토콜의 취약점을 해결하고자 하는 노력이 최근 IETF를 중심으로 이루어지고 있으며, 현재 VoIP 분야에서 H.323을 대체하고 있는 SIP을 사용하여 멀티미디어 컨퍼런스 제어에 적합한 표준 기술을 제정하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SIP 기반의 컨퍼런스 시스템에서 컨퍼런스 상태정보를 처리하기 위한 컨퍼런스 이벤트 패키지에 대해 살펴본다.

The wide deployment of wireless access technologies and the integration of various access network interfaces into a single terminal, allows mobile end-users to be always connected to the IP network, and to use those interface simultaneously. In this paper the CTE provides various access network interfaces capabilities, allowing reception of data over multiple service providers with different characteristics. Considerations for multiple network and service provider environments are regarded as essential for the successful deployment of convergence services in Next Generation Network (NGN). Event Driven Service (EDS) is regarded as a typical convergence service converging different functions of multiple service providers. This paper first describes the deployment model of NGN convergence services for multiple service provider environments. It also covers the service scenario of EDS, a convergence service for multiple service provider environments in NGN. Multiple provider environments stimulates the unified identifier management, namely ubiquitous identification (U-ID), to enable users to be provided convergence services without awareness of multiple provides. Then the designed structure and procedures of U-ID based EDS are given. Finally, the implementation results tested on Korea Advanced Research Network (KOREN) are described.

SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) 기반의 중앙 집중형 방식의 컨퍼런스 서비스 모델은 다른 모델들에 비해 컨퍼런스의 관리와 서비스가 용이한 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 구성 요소인 미디어 서버가 컨퍼런스 서버에 포함되어 구현되는 경우 컨퍼런스의 수 및 참여자의 수가 많아지면 서버의 부하가 상대적으로 커지는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 개선하는 방법으로써 컨퍼런스 서버에 컨퍼런스 이벤트 패키지(Conference Event Package)를 포함시켜 컨퍼런스와 참여자들의 효율적인 관리를 담당하고 미디어 서버 기능을 사용자 시스템에 포함시켜 컨퍼런스를 처음 개설한 참여자의 시스템에서 처리하는 방식의 모델을 제안하고 구현하였다. 따라서 컨퍼런스 서버의 부하가 줄어들어 기존의 중앙 집중형 방식에 비해 보다 많은 컨퍼런스를 개설 및 관리가 가능할 뿐만 아니라 컨퍼런스가 개설된 이후의 참여자들은 미디어 세션의 성립을 위해서 단지 컨퍼런스를 개설한 사용자와만 호 처리를 수행하여 컨퍼런스를 진행할 수 있는 장점을 가진다.

We propose the QoS (Quality of Service) assurance model for AMR (Adaptive MultiRate) voice users considering the capacity and service quality jointly in downlink WCDMA system. For this purpose, we introduce a new system performance measure and the number-based AMR mode allocation scheme. The proposed number-based AMR mode allocation can be operated only with the information of total number of ongoing users. Therefore, it can be more simply implemented than the existing power-based allocation. The proposed system performance measure considers the stochastic variations of AMR modes of ongoing users and can be analytically obtained using CTMC (Continuous Time Markov Chain) modeling. In order to validate the proposed analytical model, a discrete event-based simulation model is also developed. The performance measure obtained from the analytical model is in agreement with the simulation results and is expected to be useful for parameter optimization.

본 논문에서는 BLE 비콘을 기반으로 하는 제품 정보 안내 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이 시스템은 모바일 티켓을 통한 비접촉 입장 서비스, 좌석 안내 서비스, 이벤트 Push 서비스, 콘텐츠 Push 서비스, 공공 서비스 등의 다양한 기능을 제공하도록 설계한다. 이 시스템은 3개 모듈인 비콘 인식 모듈, 서버 연동 모듈, 콘텐츠 전송 모듈로 구성된다. 비콘 인식 모듈은 스마트 폰을 가진 고객이 가용 서비스 영역에 접근하면 근접한 비콘의 특정 ID를 전송하는 기능을 구현한다. 서버 연동 모듈은 비콘 ID 값을 인식하여, 서버로 전달하고, ID를 가지고 있는 서버 위치를 확인하는 기능을 구현한다. 콘텐츠 전송 모듈은 해당 위치에 설정된 이벤트나 서비스 정보를 스마트 폰으로 전송하는 기능을 구현한다. 본 논문에서 구현한 비콘 기반의 제품 정보 안내 시스템을 활용하면 다양한 제품 정보 안내 시스템을 빠르고, 쉽게 구현할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
