The Influence of Event Quality on Brand Value, Satisfaction and Recommend Intention as perceived by Local Food Event Participants: Case of Miderdok Festival in Changwon Province

  • The purpose of current study was to identify the influence of event quality on brand value, satisfaction, and recommend intention as perceived by a local food festival participants. Survey was distributed to the Changwon Miderdok festival participants, 350 questionnaire surveys were distributed and 330 participants were employed for statistical analysis with erasing invalid responses. Based on the process of hypothesis verification on the formulated model, it suggested that motivation factors have significantly impact on evolvement element. Specifically, humanic and physical elements were significant predictors of both brand value and satisfaction, and all factors of event quality except convenience were critical antecedents of visitors' satisfaction. In current study, in addition, brand value has positive influence on satisfaction and satisfied visitors tried to recommend the destination to others. This study will help to develop meaningful marketing strategy for local food festival industry. Furthermore, this study will contribute to improve an attractive business model to increase profit for both local society and academic study related to local food festival.

국적항공사 판매촉진이벤트의 서비스품질과 만족도 연구 (A Study on the Between Service Quality of National Airline Sales Promotion Event and Customer Satisfaction)

  • 본 논문은 국적항공사에서 경쟁적 차별화의 방안으로 고객들에게 다양한 판매촉진이벤트를 제공함에 있어 이에 대한 서비스품질과 고객만족 그리고 행동의도와의 관계검증에 그 목적이 있다. 분석결과 항공사 판매촉진이벤트의 경우, 서비스품질의 품질차원보다 서비스품질의 경험차원에서 고객의 만족과 행동의도 간에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 세부적인 가설에 대한 분석결과, 서비스품질 경험차원 중 가치추구, 실용성, 정보혜택에서 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 항공사 판매촉진이벤트에 대한 고객만족이 높을수록 행동의도도 높아지는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 이 연구는 동호인 테니스대회에 스폰서로 참여하는 기업의 스폰서십 활동이 브랜드지식, 재구매의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 2013년 4월 11일부터 14일까지 4일간 동호인 테니스대회가 열리는 두 곳을 선정하여 대회에 참가하는 테니스동호인을 대상으로 총 300부의 설문지를 배포한 후 회수하였고, 불성실하게 응답한 설문지를 제외한 총 262명의 유효 표본으로 사용하였다. 그 결과 동호인테니스대회의 스폰서십의 하위요인인 이벤트기여, 이벤트제고는 브랜드인지에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 동호인 테니스대회의 스폰서십의 하위요인인 커뮤니케이션, 이벤트기여는 브랜드태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 동호인 테니스대회의 스폰서십 하위요인인 이벤트기여, 이벤트제고는 브랜드이미지에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 브랜드지식의 하위요인인 브랜드인지, 브랜드태도, 브랜드이미지는 재구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

소방대원의 외상후 스트레스 실태 (Posttraumatic Stress in Fire fighters)

  • Purpose : This study is a descriptive research to provide basic factors of posttraumatic stress in Firefighters. This study was carried out to develop the effective program for the fire fighters to cope with the posttraumatic stress following the disasters. Methods : The questionnaires were collected among fire fighters who serviced in K and I community from April 1 to June 30 in 2008. Total 304 questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS WIN program for descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient and t-test. Results : 1. 48.0% of 300 fire fighters were at the age of 31-40, and 42.3% were under 30. 2. Work burden had a significant difference of 2.30 in low-risk group, 2.60 in high-risk group(t-value=-3.85, p=0.00). However, life event had no significant difference 0.79 event in low-risk group, 1.41 event in high-risk group(t-value=-2.27, p=0.24). 3. Concerning posttraumatic stress factors, there was positive correlation between mobilization impact level r=0.38(P<0.01), work burden r=0.38(p<0.01), and life event r=0.27(p<0.01). 4. According to the Symptom Check List-Revised(SCL-90-R), somatization had a significant differences(t-value=5.46, p=0.00), obsessive-compulsive(t-value=7.16, p=0.00), interpersonal sensitivity(t-value=6.15, p=0.00), depression(t-value=6.62, p=0.00), anxiety (t-value=7.33, p=0.00), hostility(t-value=5.94, p=0.00), phobia anxiety(t-value=6.85, p=0.00), paranoid ideation(t-value=5.55, p=0.00), psychotism(t-value=6.52, p=0.00) in low-risk and high-risk group. Conclusion : As a consequence, mobilization impact, work burden, and life event were the influential factors on posttraumatic stress. Also, high-risk group revealed significantly higher score on all 9 scales. The information obtained from surveys made recommendation to develop the intervention of stress management to control mobilization impact and posttraumatic stress.

A Study on Reversals after Stock Price Shock in the Korean Distribution Industry

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to confirm whether stocks belonging to the distribution industry in Korea have reversals, following large daily stock price changes accompanied by large trading volumes. Research design, data, and methodology: We examined whether there were reversals after the event date when large-scale stock price changes appeared for the entire sample of distribution-related companies listed on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index from January 2004 to July 2022. In addition, we reviewed whether the reversals differed depending on abnormal trading volume on the event date. Using multiple regression analysis, we tested whether high trading volume had a significant effect on the cumulative rate of return after the event date. Results: Reversals were confirmed after the stock price shock in the Korean distribution industry and the return after the event date varied depending on the size of the trading volume on the event day. In addition, even after considering both company-specific and event-specific factors, the trading volume on the event day was found to have significant explanatory power on the cumulative rate of return after the event date. Conclusions: Reversals identified in this paper can be used as a useful tool for establishing a trading strategy.

COVID-19사태에 대한 불가항력조항의 적용가능성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Applicability of Force Majeure Clause to COVID-19: Focus on Case Studies in China)

  • This study aims to determine if the current COVID-19 event can be admitted as an excuse for non-performance in international trade transactions. In order to do so, this study selected case study method in the analysis. Firstly, the definitions of Force Majeure addressed in CISG, UCC, Chinese Law, and Korean Law were organized. Secondly, this study reviewed the avian influenza event in 2006 and the natural disaster event occurred in Guangdong, China, in 2017. In the study, three critical evaluation factors are suggested in order to be admitted as a Force Majeure event in international transactions as following: 1) possibility of foresight of the event, 2) possibility to overcome and avoid the event, and 3) the enterprise's countermeasures of the event. As an implication, this study organized the definitions of Force Majeure that were indicated in various kinds of Laws and suggested the basic framework to analyze the possibility of admittance as a Force Majeure event.

침도 침술시 부작용과 예방법에 관한 연구 (Clinical Characteristics of Poor Responders to Acupotomy and Safety Pretreatment Management)

  • Objectives : Analyze according to types of event causing the adverse outcome due to acupotomy, and discuss problems and safety reqirements to using this therapy in Korea. Methods : Based upon the indication, contraindication, treatment procedures, clinical obsevations, acupotomy-related adverse outcome case reports, the factors of damaging event were classified. Results : The main factors of adverse outcome by acupotomy were anatomical ignorance, contamination of device or hospital staff, failure to notice preexisting disease(cardiovascular disease, hypertension, renal failure, hemophilia, chronic Liver Disease, etc.), unskilled treatment procedures(massive bleeding) and techniques(nerve injury, hepatic and splenic injury, Pneumothorax). Conclusions : It is mandatory to prepare adequate sterilie aseptic technique. The clinician should ensure understand genernal health state of patient and anatomical direction.

  • Recently, in the national railway industry there has been interested in the methodology of hazard analysis and risk assessment. The need of safety management system based on the technology of hazard analysis and risk assessment is being extended to identify in advance the weakness and threat factors causing the accident and cope with the accident actively. It is important to manage the risk of railway casualty accidents having a majority of railway accident. Especially, a hazard event of people struck takes the highest proportion of the railway casualty accidents. This paper describes the result of analysis for environment properties such as an age of casualty, time happened, day, month and weather conditions being concerned in the hazard event of people struck.

  • 본 연구는 글로벌 스포츠 이벤트가 한국인이미지, 제품이미지, 구매의도, 방문의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 수행되었다. 모집단은 국내 대학에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 설정하였으며, 표본은 편의표본 추출방법을 통해 표집하였다. SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, 회귀분석(Regression Analysis), 신뢰도분석(reliability analysis), 빈도분석(Frequency analysis), 확인적 요인분석(Confirmatory Factor Analysis)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 구체적인 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 글로벌 스포츠 이벤트 전 후의 한국인이미지, 제품이미지, 구매의도, 방문의도에 차이가 있다. 둘째, 글로벌 스포츠 이벤트 전 후의 한국인이미지, 제품이미지, 구매의도, 방문의도의 차이는 이벤트에 대한 관여도에 따라 다르게 나타난다.

Army Future Experts' Prediction about Near-Future Climate X-event

  • The future is complex and unpredictable. In particular, it is unlikely to occur, but once it occurs, no one knows how it will affect our society if X-event, which has a tremendous impact, is created. This study was conducted only in the climate field to offset the ripple effect of this X-event, and was conducted through in-depth interviews with experts from the Korea Army Research Center for Future & Innovation and the Army College. As a result, it was possible to explore what factors would trigger X-event from their discourse and what X-event would be newly created by spreading them to other fields. Starting with this study, if we accumulate the discourse of experts in various fields such as population, science and technology, as well as climate, and other fields other than the Army, we can predict X-event and offset the threats that may arise.
