A Study of Corporate CSR Effects on Corporate Crisis Management

  • Purpose: In modern corporate management, the establishment of a crisis management system that minimizes damage through measures used to respond to corporate crises is no longer an option. The importance of corporate reputation and brand asset management in modern enterprise management cannot be overemphasized and negative events that might arise from a number of different causes can cause brand crises. Research design, data and methodology: More than half of the questionnaire respondents were female (252 or 53%). More than a fourth of the respondents were aged 20 (122 or 26%) and the number of married participants was 196 (41%). Of the participants, 32% (153) had graduated from college. Only 18% (87) were employees and the monthly household income was 121. In this study, we conducted factor analysis in order to extract the variables that may enhance the explanation capability of each variable. For the method of factor extraction, an Eigen value of at least 1 was used as was factor loading. An analysis was performed using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient to verify the reliability of the measurement scale. Results: First, the analysis of the impact of the social responsibility activities on brand image revealed that the social, economic, philanthropic, ethical, and environmental responsibility activities significantly affected brand image, but legal responsibility activities were not statistically significant. Second, the analysis of the impact of brand image on loyalty showed that brand image had a significant impact on loyalty. Third, the analysis of the impact of social responsibility activities on loyalty showed that they had a significant impact on loyalty. Conclusions: The pro-social enterprise image is not only a brand asset that can be shared, but also a heavy proposition followed by a corresponding social responsibility, it will have to practice transparent corporate management based on clear principles through the establishment of various systems and the implementation of a strict code of conduct within the enterprise.

KRX SRI Index 구성종목 신규편입 시점의 주가반응에 관한 연구 (Market Reaction for KRX SRI Index Revision)

  • 오늘날 급변하는 자본주의 사회에서는 어떠한 방법으로 자본투자를 하는 것이 더 많은 이익을 가져다 줄 것인지에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이러한 상황속에서 최근에는 기업의 윤리경영이 강조되면서 많은 기업들이 사회적 책임 활동을 실천해오고 있다. 이런 활동들이 단지 기업이 가져야할 의무에만 그치는 것이 아니라 기업의 궁극적인 목표인 이윤 극대화를 가져오고 사회와 경제의 발전에 기여하기 위한 방법이기도 하다. 또한 투자자들도 기업의 사회적 책임 활동에 대해 인식하고 투자에 반영하기 시작하였다. 본 연구에서는 국내의 자본시장에서 기업의 사회적 책임 투자의 수준을 나타내는 지수인 KRX SRI Index(사회책임투자지수)를 이용하여 KRX SRI Index에 신규로 편입된 기업의 주가행태를 연구해 해보고, 사회적 책임 투자가 우수한 기업이 투자자의 신뢰성 향상을 가져와 주가에 추가적인 효과가 나타나는지를 사건연구(Event Study)를 통해서 알아보고자 한다. 사건연구를 위해 비사건 기간을 사건일 전 120일간으로 설정하였고, 사건기간은 사건일 전 2일에서 사건일 후 2일까지 총 5일간으로 설정하여 연구를 진행하였다. 주요 실증분석 결과, 사회책임투자지수에 신규 편입은 시장에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 신규편입 공시일 전 후로 비정상수익률이 유의한 양(+)의 값을 보여주었다. 또한 공시시점 이후로 연속적으로 누적평균비정상수익이 상승하고 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 투자자들의 투자 판단 기준으로서 KRX SRI Index 편입 여부가 관련성 있는 정보로서의 역할을 하고 있음을 확인해 볼 수 있었다.

메가 스포츠이벤트의 공식스폰서와 일반기업의 미디어 노출 분석 (Media exposure analysis of official sponsors and general companies of mega sport event)

  • 스포츠이벤트가 스포츠 산업에서 차지하는 비중이 커짐에 따라 스포츠이벤트의 공식스폰서 마케팅 시장도 증대되고 있다. 그러나 공식스폰서는 제한적이고, 그 비용도 높기 때문에 일부 기업은 엠부시(Ambish)마케팅을 방법으로 스포츠이벤트에 접근한다. 이 연구는 메가 스포츠이벤트의 공식스폰서 기업과 일반기업의 미디어 노출의 차이를 분석하는 연구이다. 연구의 목적달성을 위해 2016 리우올림픽의 1년 전, 올림픽기간, 1년 후의 미디어 기사를 수집하여 텍스트 분석을 실시하였다. 기사 수집을 위해 파이선(Python)을 활용해 웹크롤링을 실시하였고, 통계프로그램 R의 KoNLP 패키지와 TM 패키지를 활용하여 형태소 분석을 실시하고 빈도를 분석하였다. 또한, 전문가 의견수렴을 실시하여 미디어에 나타난 기업 또는 조직을 올림픽조직위원회와 공식스폰서기업, 일반기업으로 분류하였다. 분석결과 올림픽조직위원회와 관련한 빈도 5,220건, 올림픽 공식스폰서 관련 빈도 7,845건, 일반기업 관련 빈도는 7,028건으로 분석되었다. 일반기업의 노출 빈도가 공식스폰서의 노출 빈도와 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다는 것은 엠부시(Ambush) 마케팅이 전략적인 마케팅 기법으로 인식되고 있음을 시사한다. IOC는 이러한 사회적 현상을 인지하고, 공식스폰서 기업과 일반기업의 마케팅 활동에 대한 합리적 기준을 마련해야할 것이며 이 연구는 스포츠이벤트의 공정한 스폰서 활동 또는 마케팅 활동의 기준을 위한 기초자료가 될 것이다.

  • Below are the indications that cultural events in traditional Korean medicine nationwide give to the prospective 2013 DongUiBoGam World traditional Alternative Medicine Expo, especially to the se lection of the Expo's site. If the DongUiBoGam Expo is held as outdoor event, it can secure merits of current local council events' advantages: linking lived experiences to natural and historical resources. As in case of the EXOM and Hanghang EXPO that are held as indoor activivies in metropolitan area, if held the DongUiBoGam Expo can secure easily large-scale academic activities and health lectures. Thus, the key point for the DongUiBoGam Expo's success will he how to combine the good points of currently-held cultural outdoor and indoor activities in the field of traditional Korean medicine nationwide.

  • 우리나라는 강진으로부터 관측된 자료의 부족으로 중약지진을 이용한 강진의 감쇠특성 유추 및 지진원 및 전달특성 변수에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 최근 발생한 일본 후쿠오카지진 자료를 이용하여 LM 역산법으로 역산을 수행하였다. 지진원 특성, 지진파전달 특성 전체적으로 안정적인 값을 보여 주었다. 향후 보다 많은 지진자료를 수집하여 분석을 통한다면 보다 신뢰성 높은 결과값을 얻을 수 있다고 판단된다.

대두 사포닌이 Aflatoxin B1으로 유도된 세포돌연변이에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Effect of Soybean Saponins on Aflatoxin B1-induced Mutagenicity)

  • Free radicals formed during the metabolism of environmental chemicals are known to induce mutagenicity, while different types of antioxidants suppress this event. The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidative and antimutagenic effects of soybean saponins, and to examine the relationship between these two effects for the elucidation of mechanisms involved in the anticarcinogenicity of soybean saponins. Also, antioxidative and antimutagenic effects of soybean saponins were compared with those of kinown antioxidants. For the measurement of antioxidative capacity, soybean saponins, L-ascorbic acid, $\alpha$-tocophoerol, and BHT at concentrations between 005 and 1.0mg/ml were tested for their ability to donate hydrogens and to reduce the formation of thiobarbituric substances(TBARS). Antimutagenic activity was examined using the Ames salmonella test system at concentrations of 600, 900 or 1200ug/ml. Study results showed soybean saponins and all of the other antioxidants tested possessed dose-dependent antioxidative activities. The ability of hydrogen-donation to DPPH was in the order of L-ascorbic acid>$\alpha$-tocopherol=>BHT>soybean saponins. TBARS formation was also inhibited by these compounds, in the order of BHT>$\alpha$-tocopherol=L-ascorbic acid>soybean saponins. Soybean saponins and other antioxidants also showed antimutagenicity in a dose-dependent manner. Especially, soybean saponins and BHT were excellent antioxidants compounds, inhibiting near 80% of the mutagenic effects at a concentration of 1200ug/ml. The correlation coefficients between antioxidative capacity and antimutagenicity for each compund was statistically significant at p<0.05. These results indicate that soybean saponins possess antioxidative and antimutagenic capacities. Also, antimutagenicity of saponins and other antioxidats is partly due to their antioxidative activities.

Recurrent dipolarizations of near-Earth magnetotail during high-speed solar wind streamers

  • Recurrent substorms occur when high-speed solar wind streamers pass by Earth's magnetosphere. Most of the previous researches have been done using the observations obtained at the geosynchronous orbit focusing on the relationship between the solar wind disturbances and the occurrence of substorms. However, it is important to investigate the dynamics of the magnetotail because the magnetotail is the place where substorms develop. In this study we investigated the observations of recurrent dipolarizations in the near-Earth magnetotail that occurred during high-speed solar wind streamers. The dipolarizations and subsequent stretchings have occurred for more than three days with the average period of ~2 - 3 hours. The average period of ~2 - 3 hours is consistent with the average occurrence period of recurrent substorms. Also, the observed signatures on the geosynchronous orbit and the ground show recurrent substorms have occurred during the event. These suggest that the recurrent dipolarizations in the near-Earth magnetotail should be closely related to the recurrent substorms. On the other hand, there was no clear flow activities directly associated with the dipolarizations, except for some intermittent bursty flow activities. We will discuss the detailed characteristics of the dipolarizations and the relationship with recurrent substorms.

병원간호사의 항암화학요법 제제 정맥주사 투약안전 수행능력 향상 활동을 위한 연구 -6시그마 기법을 적용하여- (A Study for Activities to Improve Ability to Perform Intravenous Injection Chemotherapy Medication Safety Management of Nurses - Using 6 Sigma Techniques -)

  • 본 연구는 병원간호사의 항암화학요법 제제의 투약안전 체계를 분석하여 투약안전 문제점을 개선하기 위한 6시그마 기법을 적용한 방법론적 연구이다. 연구 결과 함암화학요법 제제 투약의 문제점은 과정, 간호사, 환경 관련의 3가지 요인으로 분석되었으며 임상 현장에서 개선 가능성과 효과가 가장 높은 '약물에 대한 지식과 수행능력의 부족'과 '간호사 대상의 약물 교육 부족' 에 대한 개선 활동을 진행하였다. 개선안으로 제시된 간호사의 항암화학요법 제제 투약안전 교육의 효과 검증을 위한 교육 전 후의 지식과 수행 정도는 통계적으로 모두 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 간호사의 항암화학요법 제제 투약안전 교육 후 개선 사항을 유지하기 위해 관리 지표, 관리 방법 등에 대한 관리계획서 작성으로 개선 활동을 종료하였으며, 5단계 연구 진행은 투약안전을 목표로 한 간호실무 개선에 의의가 있다.

Development of a Leading Performance Indicator from Operational Experience and Resilience in a Nuclear Power Plant

  • The development of operational performance indicators is of utmost importance for nuclear power plants, since they measure, track, and trend plant operation. Leading indicators are ideal for reducing the likelihood of consequential events. This paper describes the operational data analysis of the information contained in the Corrective Action Program. The methodology considers human error and organizational factors because of their large contribution to consequential events. The results include a tool developed from the data to be used for the identification, prediction, and reduction of the likelihood of significant consequential events. This tool is based on the resilience curve that was built from the plant's operational data. The stress is described by the number of unresolved condition reports. The strain is represented by the number of preventive maintenance tasks and other periodic work activities (i.e., baseline activities), as well as, closing open corrective actions assigned to different departments to resolve the condition reports (i.e., corrective action workload). Beyond the identified resilience threshold, the stress exceeds the station's ability to operate successfully and there is an increased likelihood that a consequential event will occur. A performance indicator is proposed to reduce the likelihood of consequential events at nuclear power plants.

Process Evaluation Model based on Goal-Scenario for Business Activity Monitoring

  • The scope of the problems that could be solved by monitoring and the improvement of the recognition time is directly correlated to the performance of the management function of the business process. However, the current monitoring process of business activities decides whether to apply warnings or not by assuming a fixed environment and showing expressions based on the design rules. Also, warnings are applied by carrying out the measuring process when the event attribute values are inserted at every point. Therefore, there is a limit for distinguishing the range of occurrence and the level of severity in regard to the new external problems occurring in a complicated environment. Such problems cannot be ed. Also, since it is difficult to expand the range of problems which can be possibly evaluated, it is impossible to evaluate any unexpected situation which could occur in the execution period. In this paper, a process-evaluating model based on the goal scenario is suggested to provide constant services through the current monitoring process in regard to the service demands of the new scenario which occurs outside. The new demands based on the outside situation are analyzed according to the goal scenario for the process activities. Also, by using the meta-heuristic algorithm, a similar process model is found and identified by combining similarity and interrelationship. The process can be stopped in advance or adjusted to the wanted direction.
