Recently, consumers are tend to purchase the user-centered designed product using interface enginnering and human factors techniques. Therefore, it is important that the designer's requirements should be analyzed focused on the human machine interface. This paper described the interface usability evaluation technique(suvjective evaluation) for the interface between user and product. This methodology is the integrated interface usbility evaluation method AHP and Conjoint Analysis. AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) is a multicriteria decision model to give priority after expressing hierarchically for decision making problem. Conjoint Analysis enduavors to unravel the value, or partworths, that consumers place on the product or service's attributes from experimental subjects' evluation of profiles based on hypothetical products or services. A new usability test methodology proposed by this paper includes techniques jointed both consistency test by AHP and experimental subjective evaluation of profiles by Conjoint Analysis for evaluating the user's emotion and impression.

AE technique was applied to the static structural test of the composite wing structure to evaluate the structural integrity and damage. During the test, strain and displacements measurement technique were used to figure out for static structural strength. AE parameter analysis and source location technique were used to evaluate the internal damage and find out damage source location. Design limit load test, the 1st and 2nd design ultimate load tests and fracture test were performed. Main AE source was detected by an sensor attached on skin near by front lug. Especially, at the 1st design ultimate test, strain and displacements results didn't show internal damage but AE signal presented a phenomenon that the internal damage was formed. At the fracture test, AE activities were very lively, and strain and displacements results showed a tendency that the load path was changed by severe damage. The internal damage initiation load and location were accurately evaluated during the static structural test using AE technique. It is certified from this paper that AE technique is useful technique for evaluation of internal damage at static structural strength test.

The evaluation methods of the splicing loss in attenuation characteristics of optical fiber were measured and analyzed presently, the splicing loss of single mode optical fiber is measured by the cut-back technique and the backscattering technique. Comparing the splicing loss measured by above two technique, evaluation method of splicing loss measured by backscattering technique (OTDR) shall be calculated by the splicing loss is occurred due to difference of the backscattering coefficient in the spliced fibers. Thus. this analysis of the splicing loss is certainly applied in installation of the optical fiber cables for management of the data.

Interfacial properties and electrical sensing for fiber fracture in carbon and SiC fibers/epoxy composites were investigated by the electrical resistance measurement and fragmentation test. As fiber-embedded angle increased, interfacial shear strength (IFSS) of two-type fiber composites decreased, and the elapsed time was long to the infinity in electrical resistivity. The initial slope of electrical resistivity increased rapidly to the infinity at higher angle, whereas electrical resistivity increased gradually at small angle. Furthermore, both fiber composites with small embedded angle showed a fully-developed stress whitening pattern, whereas both composites with higher embedded angle exhibited a less developed stress whitening pattern. As embedded angle decreased, the gap between the fragments increased and the debonded length was wider for both fiber composites. Electro-micromechanical technique can be a feasible nondestructive evaluation to measure interfacial sensing properties depending on the fiber-embedded angle in conductive fiber reinforced composites.
The safety-evaluation of ancient wood structures has been executed with only visual inspection. The application of NDE(nondestructive evaluation) is required because the visual inspection has many restrictions. Among many NDE techniques, the stress wave technique was used in this research. This study focused on evaluating the extent of decay in members of ancient structures, using stress wave nondestructive technique. For application of stress wave technique to ancient structures, the threshold time which divides members into categories according to degree of decay should be determined in advance. Stress wave timer (Metriguard Model 239A) was used in this study, specimens used in this research were the members obtained from six ancient structures. All specimens were identified as Hard Pine(Pinus densiflora S. et Z. or Pinus thunbergii P.) by microscope. Each member was tested with stress wave passing radially through the pith. In this study, the stress wave time of $12{\mu}s$/cm could distinguish between sound and decayed specimens with accuracy of 77.5 percent. Also, decayed specimens could be separated into moderate and severe categories by stress wave time of $20{\mu}s$/cm. Among the three decay location groups (exterior, mixed, interior), the exterior group could be classified into sound, moderate and severe decay with the greatest accuracy. Stress wave transit time was not sensitive to small decay pockets located in interior of the member.
As huge energy transfer systems like a nuclear power plant, steam power plant and petrochemical plant are operated for a long time, mechanical properties are changed by degradation. The life time of the systems can be affected by the mechanical properties. So determination of the integrity of the metallic structure is required either to en4sure that failure will not occur during the service life of the components or to evaluate the lifetime extension of the structure. An automated ball indentation(ABI) method was developed as a non-destructive technique for evaluating the integrity of such metallic components. In this paper, we would like to present the aging evaluation technique by the ABI method. The five classes of the thermally aged CF8M specimens were prepared using an artificially accelerated aging method. After holding 100, 300, 900, 1800 and 3600 hours at 43$0^{\circ}C$, the specimens were cooled down using water to room temperature respectively. The tensile test, hardness test, charpy impact test, ABI test were performed. The results of the fracture test were compared with those of ABI test and the new evaluation technique of the integrity of metallic structures was developed.

Recently, MANET has been used in many fields as the range of applications increases. However, the dynamic topology that MANET has makes it difficult to route and provides the cause of exposure to security vulnerabilities. Therefore, the security features that can be robust to many attacks must have been applied in the routing technique provided in the MANET. In this paper, we propose a secure routing method that secure route is established by reliability evaluation of nodes and secure data communication has applied through key exchange mechanism. The proposed technique used hierarchical structure for efficiency of reliability evaluation of nodes. The reliability of nodes is performed by trust management node and reliability of nodes managed periodically is broadcasted. And the key exchange for secure data transmission is dene without CA as the certificate issuing organization. This allows fast key exchange and the integrity of data transmission improved. The proposed technique improves the security of the data transmission because a secure route to the destination node is established by the reliability evaluation and the data transmission is performed after the key between the source node and the destination node is exchanged through the established route.
In this paper, we present the scattering characteristics of infinite and finite array using method of moment (MoM) with Floquet harmonics and asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) technique. First, infinite cylindrical dipole array is analyzed using the MoM with entire domain basis function and cylindrical Floquet harmonics. To provide the validity of results, we fabricated the cylindrical dipole array and measured the transmission characteristics. The results show good agreements. Second, we analyzed the scattering characteristics of finite array. A large simulation time is needed to obtain the scattering characteristics of finite array over wide frequency range because Floquet harmonics can't be applied. So, we used the MoM with AWE technique using Taylor series and Pade approximation to overcome the shortcomings of conventional MoM. We calculated the radar cross section (RCS) as scattering characteristics using the proposed method in this paper and the conventional MoM for finite planar slot array, finite spherical slot array, and finite cylindrical dipole array, respectively. The compared results agree well and show that the proposed method in this paper is good for electromagnetic analysis of finite FSS.
The quantitative evaluation of the stereo graphic projection, the limit equilibrium analysis, the finite difference analysis, the distinct element methocI is a analytical evaluation using many variables. Through the reliability analysis by the point estimation technique, uncertainty of other variables that have an effect on the stability of the rock slo~ was considered. The organized evaluation method of the approximate reasoning concept and using a fuzzy language was developed to confer and analysis the failure factors in planning and constructing the rock slope. Considering the result of the an- alysis, it was demonstrated that stability of entire sections can be evaluated through reliability analysis of point estimation technique. The results of stability evaluation by Fuzzy Approximate Reasoning is generally identical with the results of other existirw; analyses. As mentioned above, general and organized evaluation of special qualities of rock slope is possible using RMR Classification, Stereo Graphic Projection, Limit Equilibriwn Analysis, Finite Difference Analysis, Distinct Element Method, Point Estimation Technique, and Fuzzy Approximate Reasoning.
