CMM을 이용한 3자유도 병렬기구 위치 오차의 정밀 평가 기법 (Precision Evaluation Method for the Positioning Error of Three-DOF Parallel Mechanism using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM))

  • This paper proposes precision evaluation method for the positioning error of three-DOF translational parallel mechanism. The proposed method uses conventional CMM as metrology equipment to measure the position of end-effector. In order to obtain accurate measurement data from CMM, the transform relationship between the coordinate system of the parallel mechanism and the CMM coordinate system must be identified. For this purpose, a new coordinate referencing (or coordinate system identification) technique is presented. By using this technique accurate coordinate transformation relationships are efficiently established. According to these coordinate transformation relationships, an equation to calculate error components at any arbitrary position of the end-effector is derived. In addition, mathematical fitting models to represent the position error components in the two-dimensional workspace of the parallel mechanism are also constructed based on response surface methodology. The proposed error evaluation method proves its effectiveness through the experimental results and its application to real three-DOF parallel mechanism.

Performance Evaluation of a Cell Reassembly Mechanism with Individual Buffering in an ATM Switching System

  • We present a performance evaluation model of cell reassembly mechanism in an ATM switching system. An ATM switching system may be designed so that communications between processors of its control part can be performed via its switching network rather than a separate inter-processor communications network. In such a system, there should be interface to convert inter-processor communication traffic from message format to cell format and vice versa, that is, mechanisms to perform the segmentation and reassembly sublayer. In this paper, we employ a continuous-time Markov chain for the performance evaluation model of cell reassembly mechanism with individual buffering, judicially defining the states of the mechanism. Performance measures such as message loss probability and average reassembly delay are obtained in closed forms. Some numerical illustrations are given for the performance analysis and dimensioning of the cell reassembly mechanism.

  • 본 논문은 이동 애드혹 네트워크 내에서 발생하는 기본적인 트랜잭션 메시지에 의미를 부여하고 추가적인 트랜잭션 메시지를 정의하며 확신성 요소를 추가하여 보다 나은 서비스를 제공하는 노드 선택의 기준이 될 수 있는 확장된 신뢰도 평가 기법을 제안하고, 이를 시뮬레이션하여 제안한 신뢰도 평가 기법의 효용성을 보인다.

  • Aiming at the problem of service reliability in resource reservation in cloud computing environments, a model of dynamic cloud resource reservation based on trust is proposed. A domain-specific cloud management architecture is designed in which resources are divided into different management domains according to the types of service for easier management. A dynamic resource reservation mechanism (DRRM) is used to test users' reservation requests and reserve resources for users. According to user preference, several resources are chosen to be candidate resources by fuzzy cluster analysis. The fuzzy evaluation method and a two-way trust evaluation mechanism are adopted to improve the availability and credibility of the model. An analysis and simulation experiments show that this model can increase the flexibility of resource reservation and improve user satisfaction.

  • This paper presents control and evaluation of a new haptic device with a 6-DOF parallel mechanism for interfacing with virtual reality. This haptic device has low inertial, high bandwidth compactness, and high output force capability mainly due to of base-fixed motors. It has also wider orientation workspace mainly due to a RRR type spherical joint. A control method is presented with gravity compensation and with force feedback by an F/T sensor to compensate for the effects of unmodeled dynamics such as friction and inertia. Also, dynamic performance has been evaluated by experiments. for force characteristics such as maximum applicable force, static-friction force, minimum controllable force, and force bandwidth Virtual wall simulation with the developed haptic device has been demonstrated.

  • 이동 애드혹 네트워크 환경에서 신뢰할 수 없는 서비스들로 인해 과도한 트랜잭션이 발생되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위한 방안으로, 이동 애드혹 네트워크 내에서 발생하는 기본적인 트랜잭션 메시지와 추가적인 트랜잭션 메시지에 의미를 부여하여 보다 나은 서비스를 제공하는 노드 선택의 기준이 될 수 있는 신뢰도 평가 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 신뢰도 기법을 구현하고 시뮬레이션을 통해서 평가된 신뢰도 값을 확인한다.

  • Genotoxicity plays an important role for the safety evaluation of chemicals. When the carcinogenicity is evident on a chemical, the threshold can be estimated only when genotoxic mechanism does not operate for carcinogenesis otherwise threshold cannot be set. Without genotoxic mechanism- non-genotoxic carcinogen-threshold can be estimated but with genotoxic mechanism-genotoxic- carcinogen-it cannot be estimated.(omitted)

  • To improve the compliance and verification mechanism is one of the important reasons to revise the STCW Convention. The mechanism includes the assessment of competence, control, precision of description of competence, quality standard system, communication of information and so on. Chinese seaman's education an training institute & the organization of evaluating and issuing certificates should enhance realizing the importance of compliance and verification mechanism and carry out it down to earth. The current work that should be reinforced is to control the qualified evaluation effectively.

Node-Level Trust Evaluation Model Based on Blockchain in Ad Hoc Network

  • Due to the characteristics of an ad hoc network without a control center, self-organization, and flexible topology, the trust evaluation of the nodes in the network is extremely difficult. Based on the analysis of ad hoc networks and the blockchain technology, a blockchain-based node-level trust evaluation model is proposed. The concepts of the node trust degree of the HASH list on the blockchain and the perfect reward and punishment mechanism are adopted to construct the node trust evaluation model of the ad hoc network. According to the needs of different applications the network security level can be dynamically adjusted through changes in the trust threshold. The simulation experiments demonstrate that ad-hoc on-demand distance vector(AODV) Routing protocol based on this model of multicast-AODV(MAODV) routing protocol shows a significant improvement in security compared with the traditional AODV and on-demand multipath distance vector(AOMDV) routing protocols.

캠-슬라이더 메커니즘 테이프 피더의 성능평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Analysis for a Tape Feeder with Cam-slider Mechanism)

  • A tape feeder is an important feeding device to supply micro-chips such as 1005 and 0603 components to PCB in SMT process. Traditionally, tape feeding methods using sprocket wheel mechanism has been used for the pickup system of chip-mounters. However, there is growing needs for new feeding mechanism with high accuracy and confidence as electric components are getting much smaller. Thus, recently, a tape feeder using cam-slider mechanism is developed to meet such requirements. The major advantages of developed system are; significantly reduced indexing and backlash errors, slim and compact design, and improved repetitive capacity compared to existing system. In this paper, the performance evaluation criteria for the developed tape feeder are suggested. Stability against induced vibration, positioning accuracy, cycle time, durability and supply error rate are estimated using developed self testers. As a result, the excellence of developed tape feeding mechanism is validated using the effective rating methods.
