스마트폰의 보급과 더불어 보안에 관한 관심도 크게 증가되고 다양한 보안 솔루션들이 제안되고 있다. 스마트폰 보안은 스마트폰의 이동성, 메모리 제약, 배터리의 한계, 동시에 실행되는 다른 프로세스들과의 충돌 고려 등의 요인으로 인해 접근하기가 어렵다. 또한 현존하는 스마트폰 방화벽 애플리케이션의 경우 많은 사용자가 불편함을 느끼고 사용을 해제하는 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 스마트폰의 특성과 제약사항을 고려해 방화벽을 살펴보고 스마트폰에 알맞은 방화벽 애플리케이션 모델을 제안하고자 한다.

The present study investigates how consumers' construal level affects their variety seeking behavior when choosing multiple items simultaneously. Especially the authors focus on the perceptual level at which variety seeking takes place and propose that variety seeking can take place not only at brand level but also at category or subcategory level. Categorical variety seeking refers to diversification of one's choices over multiple brands not within the same category but across multiple categories. Building on construal level theory, the authors expected that people engaging in higher-level construals tend to subcategorize the choice set and distribute their choices across more subcategories and designed four experiments to test the related hypotheses. The experimental results showed that consumers' construal level can affect the level at which variety seeking takes place and those with higher construal level tend to choose options seemingly more dissimilar to each other.

This essay examines the significance of Yank's struggle to belong in Eugene O'Neill's play, The Hairy Ape in light of Nietzsche's definition of man as "a rope tied between beast and overman." Contending that Yank's death in the gorilla's cage signifies both a defeat and his only chance of success, the essay investigates how his "tink[ing]" leads him to question his former understanding of what it means to belong. Knowing his struggle to belong is bound to fail, Yank uncompromisingly seeks to fit into the point of completely isolating himself from all other species in the gorilla's cage. Consequently, he becomes "the Hairy Ape" and opens up the possibility of belonging by creating and becoming the species of one to which he alone belongs. Echoing Nietzsche's vision of greatness in man, Yank's endeavor proves that what is noble "in man is that he is a bridge" rather than "a goal."

One of the important considerations in structural designing the flat plate system is ensuring the resistance to punching shear caused by axial loads and the ductile ability to follow horizontal deformation under earthquake. In this study, the ECC (Engineered Cementitious Composite) has been placed in the critical section zone of punching shear at slab-column joint to improve ductility and the advanced details of shear reinforced area nearby critical section zone has been developed using stud and steel fiber. The shear performance tests were performed on the specimens with parameters of fiber type mixed with ECC, stud and steel fiber set into the shear reinforced area in which the failure pattern, joint strength, displacement and strain of the specimen were compared and analyzed. The test results showed that the strength and ductility of specimens with ECC applied to joint were better than those of RC flat plate system. Also, the shear reinforcement effect of stud and the ductility improvement of steel fiber concrete were confirmed in the shear reinforcement area.

Eugene O'Neill's one-act play Before Breakfast (1916) depicts a morning scene of a married couple who live in a slovenly flat at Greenwich Village. There is no apparent dramatic action occurring in the play. Instead, the play is full of Mrs. Rowland's incessant complaints about her husband Alfred's loafing around bars with artists friends, neglecting his role as breadwinner. An irony is that every morning she prepares breakfast for the good-for-nothing husband even in the moment of complaining. It is worth noting that Alfred is an 'unseen character' who is never directly observed by the audience but is only described by her wife. Deprived of all chances to speak and present himself on stage, he is kept in the room throughout the play. In contrast, Mrs. Rowland dominates the stage, monopolizing language and action. The audience has to listen to her, judge from her statements, and take her one-sided complaints. The accused husband, with zero chance of showing up and defending himself, has no choice but to be the sinner as the wife intends. Another irony is that the audience's feeling about the situation is quite different from what is expected. The wife's complaints are regarded to be unfair and groundless in the reason that the situation is monopolized by her. In case of the husband, in contrast, the loss of voice and presence stresses the injustice of his dead-lock situation. In other words, the 'absent' quality of Alfred works to evoke the audience's sympathy for himself and subsequently makes his presence recognized, not visually but emotionally, by the audience throughout the play. Discovered in this paradoxical moment where the spectators understand or 'see' the status of the unseen and the devoiced message is successfully conveyed to the listeners, is the theatricality of absence. Adding to the function as theatrical device, the 'unseen character' Alfred works as a device of self-reflection to mirror the author's own life. Alfred, the alter-ego of O'Neill, effectively exorcises the author's life-long feeling of guilty as the unfaithful husband and father in the unhappy first marriage, successfully evoking the audience's sympathy for himself.

In this study, we report three insect pest species of non-astringent persimmon, Pleuroptya chlorophanta, Acria ceramitis, and Choristoneura longicellana, for the first time from Korea. Larvae of these species were collected from an organic farming persimmon orchard in Changwon city, Gyeongnam province, and reared in the laboratory to be identified in 2012. Some information, such as collection records, hosts, simple morphological characteristics, and ecology were introduced for each species.

The humans are under attack involving the hazardous environment and pathogen/biotoxin aerosol that is realistic concerned. A portable, fast, reliable, and cheap Pathogen and Biotoxin Aerosol threat Detection(PBAD) trigger is an important technology for detect-to-protect and detect-to-treat system because the man-made biological terror is a fast and lethal infection. The ultraviolet C(UVC) wavelengths light source is key issue for PBAD that is sensitive because of strong fluorescence cross section from fluorescent amino acids in proteins such as tryptophan and tyrosine. The UVC-light emitting diode(LED) is emerging light source technology as alternative to laser or lamps as they offer several advantages. This paper discussed about the design consideration of UVC-LED for the PBAD system. The UVC-LED and PBAD technology, currently available or in development, are also discussed.

A 62-year-old man with a chronic cough presented with atelectasis of the left upper lobe on chest X-ray. Chest computed tomography showed an atelectasis in the left upper lobe with bronchial wall thickening, stenosis, dilatation, and mucoid impaction. We performed bronchoscopy and found a well-circumscribed mass on the left upper lobe bronchus. The mass was removed by flexible bronchoscopy using an electrosurgical snare and diagnosed with lipoma. An endobronchial lipoma is a rare benign tumor that can be treated by a surgical or endoscopic approach. We report the successful removal of endobronchial lipoma via flexible bronchoscopic electrosurgical snare.

Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) provide ionospheric corrections at geographically five degree-spaced Ionospheric Grid Points (IGPs) and confidence bounds, called Grid Ionospheric Vertical Errors (GIVEs), on the error of those corrections. Since the ionosphere is one of the largest error sources which may threaten the safety of a single frequency Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) user, the ionospheric correction and integrity bound algorithm is essential for the development of SBAS. The current single frequency based SBAS, already deployed or being developed, implement the ionospheric correction and error bounding algorithm of the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) developed for use in the United States. However, the ionospheric condition is different for each region and it could greatly degrade the performance of SBAS if its regional characteristics are not properly treated. Therefore, this paper discusses key factors that should be taken into consideration in the development of the ionospheric correction and integrity bound algorithm optimized for the Korean SBAS. The main elements of the conventional GIVE monitor algorithm are firstly reviewed. Then, this paper suggests several areas which should be investigated to improve the availability of the Korean SBAS by decreasing the GIVE value.

This study examined differences in consumers' images of short-term income forest products, preference, willingness to pay prices and purchase behavior according to dietary lifestyle as well as investigated what factors influence the degree of satisfaction when purchasing short-term income forest products and willingness to repurchase. According to dietary lifestyle, the results classified consumers as 'frugal housewife type,' 'convenience-seeking type,' and 'food high-involvement type.' A 'food high-involvement group' is defined as a group that wants high quality products regardless of price. In the 'frugal housewife type,' country of origin and hygiene/safety (considered when purchasing food) had positive influences on the degree of satisfaction. In the 'convenience-seeking type,' country of origin (considered when purchasing food) had a positive influence on the degree of satisfaction while country of origin (checked when purchasing food) had a negative influence on degree of satisfaction. Consumers had a lack of perception for short-term income forest products; subsequently, short-term income forest products had a weakness of low access to consumers. Therefore, farms for short-term income forest products need to divide products into 'high-priced' luxury products and 'low-priced' frugal products according to dietary lifestyle characteristics, improve packaging status to enable consumers to check quality certificates, and clearly indicate country of origin as well as improve distribution processes and increase consumer access to products.
