정보관리와 전문직 윤리 (Professional Ethics in Librarianship and Information Works)

  • Librarians long ago proclaimed themselves professionals. Until recently, however, librarians and information professionals gave very little thought to professional ethics, which have corne to play an increasingly important role in all areas in modern society. They have been stimulated to consider their specific domain within an ethical context now. Professional norms express obligations which include prescribing standards, principles of responsibilities, and rules of duties. Professional codes attempt to formulate the norms of professional ethics and are the basis for disciplinary measures of various kinds. This paper discusses professional properties and characteristics of libarianship with a special reference to the code of professional ethics. The codes of ethics of the American Library Association, the Library Association, and of the Japanese Library Association have been reviewed and compared. The arguments on the enforcibility of the professional codes of ethics, therefore, on their effectiveness have been discussed. Author concludes that, despite some doubts on the practical effectiveness of the ethics code expressed by a number of scholars, a code of ethics is very much required in the information professions. Properly disseminated, a code would enhance the status and standing of the profession by demonstrating concerns for the maintenance of the highest possible level of standards of professional services. It would also play an important role in raising consciousness of the clients by communicating the value of the works.

블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습이 초등학생의 정보윤리의식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Blog-Based Co-op Co-op Learning on Information Ethics for The Elementary Students)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생의 정보윤리의식 향상을 위하여 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습 모형을 개발하고 적용하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서 개발한 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습을 초등학교 5, 6학년을 대상으로 적용하고 효과를 분석하였다. 실험처치는 3주 동안 6차시에 걸쳐 진행되었으며, 실험집단에는 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습 모형을 적용하고 비교집단에는 전통적인 방식의 자율적 협동학습 모형을 적용하였다. 정보윤리의식 수준의 향상 정도를 측정하기 위하여 두 집단 간 평균을 비교하는 독립표본 t 검증을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습 모델이 학습자의 정보윤리의식 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 학습자의 정보윤리의식 변화를 영역별로 분석한 결과 모든 영역에서 블로그 기반 자율적 협동학습 모델이 학습자 정보윤리의식 향상에 유의미한 결과를 나타내었다.

The Ethics of the Othering in the Era of Transnationalism

  • The space of the Other assumes the space of Barthes's multiplicity and Foucault's transdiscursive position, and, therefore, aims at becoming the locus in which the speaking subject and the hearing subjects are supposed to communicate and constitute as if they were situated in the pscychoanalytic session. However, the wall of untranslatibility across language and cultures still exist there in the space of the Other in the form of trauma and aggressivity, as Lacan demonstrate perceptively through the reading of Kant avec Sade. In short, Lacan regards the moral commandment (to love one's neighbor as oneself) as the obstacle in the Freud's myth of transgression, and interprets this in terms of the emergence of the Other. Freud understands that the aggressivity in the subject's own heart was inherent in all humans, and that one's neighbor would be evil. Lacan goes beyond Freud and articulates that the aggressivity in the imaginary relation with the Other in the mirror stage insures that an evil inheres in the very being of humanity. A global phenomenon of the diasporic identities and hybridity, the phenomenon which has been represented by the complicated intermixture of terms which span from diaspora, postcolonialism, postnationalism. and transnationalism can be clarified, if they are put in the context of the ethics of Othering or becoming the Other. The ethics of Othering presupposes the situation in which the diasporic subjects encounter the lack of the cross-cultural negotiation and communication. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how the poetics of Other and the logic of the ethics of Othering can explain the postmodern or transmodern world which has become deterritorialized, diasporic, and transnational as well as how one can encounter the results of diasporic and postcolonial double consciousness, a consciousness which is a discursive category for multicultural or cross-cultural, focusing on the concept of liminality/interstitiality

보건소 치과위생사의 직업윤리 수행정도 (Vocational ethics performance of health center-based dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: This study analyzed the views, awareness and performance of vocational ethics of dental hygienists employed in health centers. Methods: A survey was conducted on 197 dental hygienists who attended the National Health Association job training session. SPSS WIN 22.0 was used to analyze the results. Results: The vocational ethics that dental hygienists valued the most was integrity, followed by expertise and integrity. The awareness level of vocational ethics was 93.3% and observance level was 97.4%. The methods of information gathering were 34.5% 'off-the-job training' and 34.0% for 'at work or employment SOP' The highest of vocational ethics performance was responsibility, marked 4.25. Significant differences were observed in fairness, cooperation and vocation between different general characteristics such as age, employment history, marital status, work region, and major responsibilities. Conclusions: It is necessary to evaluate the vocational ethics performance of dental hygienists based in health centers in order to develop programs for ethical guidelines and institutional principles to help decision making.

치과기공과 직업윤리 교육의 방안소고 (A Study on Vocational Ethics in Dental Technical Depart)

  • It is recognized a very important task to cultivate the vocational ethics consciousness as well as technical education in Dental technical department which intend to foster leading technicians. Based on that point, we analyzed the actual conditions and the problems for the education of vocational ethics, as a try to search for a new orientation for the education of vocational ethics, which should be compatible with the realization of the theory of our national education chart, and its methods are presented centering on following items. a) Balance and harmony b) Unification of knowledge and action c) Self-realization d) Puritying aesthetic sentiments.

개화기 조혼 담론의 가족윤리의식의 함의 (An Implied Meaning of Family Ethics Consciousness of Early Marriage Discourse During the Enlightenment Period of Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore an implied meaning of family ethics consciousness from the interpretation of early marriage discourse during the enlightenment period of Korea. For the analysis, the estimated time frame of the enlightenment period wile be from 1860 to 1910 that was the time when the Japanese annexed Korea. The discourse of newspapers, Shinsoseols and magazines which are the text of the study have been analysed with the qualitative research technique. The major findings were as follows: 1. The intellects stated that the traditional practice of early marriage should be abolished, and should be replaced by a marriage that the groom and the bride dually agree upon. This argument meant that marriage was not an event for the parents or the family, but a life event for the couples themselves. 2. The practice of early marriage was criticized as it was one of the main reason of making marital relationship miserable. Also it was stated that the children could not follow the role of husband and wife. The importance of marital relationship was emphasized with the recognition that the marital relationship was the basic relationship within family and society. 3. The discourse, criticizing the parents'behavior that enforced the early marriage of children, stated that the children should not be the possession of parents but the public being of society. 4. The discourse also stated that the society and the parents should recognize their children as the human being to be protected from the early marriage which would result in physical damage of their children. Also the discourse asserted the rights of the children including their rights of education. The childhood were being formed in these discourses.

대학생의 인터넷 중독성향 영향요인 (Influence factors of Internet addiction tendency of University students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 인터넷 중독성향에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 실시한 단면연구이다. 2017년 3월 15일부터 5월 22일까지 자기기입식 설문조사방법을 이용하여 370명을 대상으로 편의 추출하여 자기기입식 설문지를 배부한 후 최종 354부의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석방법은 정보윤리의식 도구의 구성개념 타당성 검증을 위해 구성요소의 하부항목에 대한 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 측정변수들이 인터넷 중독성향에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 각 변수간의 상관관계를 Pearson 상관분석으로 검증 후, 단계선택법을 이용한 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 인터넷 이용시간, 정보윤리의식의 하위요인인 인터넷 이용의 건전성, 자기통제력이 인터넷 중독성향에 각각 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대학생의 인터넷 중독을 예방하기 위하여 정보윤리의식의 배양 및 인터넷 이용시간과 자기통제력을 조절할 수 있는 다양한 중재 프로그램의 개발 및 운영이 필요할 것으로 사료된다

고등학교 도덕 교육과 환경 윤리 (Moral Education & Environmental Ethics in High School)

  • 환경 윤리에 대한 윤리학적 의견이 분분하기는 하지만 인간과 자연에 관한 관계의 재정립, 인간의 자연에 대한 의식 및 인식의 전환, 도덕적 의무와 책임의 확대 등이 도덕·윤리과에서 담당해야 할 환경 윤리 교육의 공통된 주제로 모아진다. 곧 '환경 교육'은 전 교과에서 시행될 수 있지만, '환경 윤리 교육'은 도덕·윤리과의 정체성적 성격을 갖는다고 할 수 있다. 『도덕』 교과서에서 환경 문제에 관한 단원은 외형적인 틀은 체계를 갖추었다고 할 수 있다. 하지만 모순되는 관점의 병렬적 진술, 문명과 자연의 이분구도, 동양 사상에 대한 비주류적 접근 혹은 개인적 태도에 초점을 맞춘 진술 등이 문제점으로 지적될 수 있을 것이다. 윤리와 사상에서도 생태주의와 인간 중심주의의 대결구도, 인간을 환경 혹은 생태계의 암적인 존재로 몰아가고 있는 것이 문제점으로 지적될 수 있다. 교수-학습 과정에 있어서 윤리 교육은 '지정행(知情行)'의 통합 교육이 되어야 한다. 그런데 환경 문제의 근원적인 원인을 '인식'에 둔다면, 고등학교 환경 윤리 교육의 교수-학습의 중요도는 '인지>정의, 행동'으로 되어야 한다. 고등학생은 환경 윤리학에 대한 고차의 지식과 관점을 비판적으로 검토할 수준이 되기 때문이다. 동양 사상의 자연관도 기왕의 환경 윤리학의 '관점'의 틀을 통해 동일차이를 설명하는 방식이 되어야 한다. 또 유학, 도가, 불교를 묶어서 '동양'이라는 틀로 설명할 것이 아니라 각각의 사상이 갖고 있는 자연에 대한 관점이 비교되어야 한다. 즉 환경 윤리학의 관점과의 동일-차이/ 유, 불, 도의 동일-차이가 종횡으로 설명된다면 기왕의 환경 윤리학을 보완 내지는 제3의 방식이 제시될 수도 있을 것이다.

비주얼 씽킹과 윈도우 패닝을 적용한 간호윤리와 전문직 교과목 수업개선에 관한 실행연구 (An Action Research to Improve Nursing Ethics and Professional Course using Visual Thinking and Window Panning)

  • 본 연구는 비주얼 씽킹과 윈도우 패닝을 적용한 간호윤리와 전문직 교과목 수업개선의 실행과정과 그 효과를 확인하기 위한 통합연구방법설계의 실행연구이다. 이 연구는 G시 소재 간호학과 2학년 학생들 중 114명을 대상으로 2018년 2월부터 9월까지 이루어졌다. 실행연구에 대한 개념적 모형을 기반으로 하여 양적·질적 접근을 통해 통합적으로 자료를 수집하고 분석하는 과정을 거쳤다. 양적접근으로는 윤리적의사결정 자신감, 생명의료윤리의식, 간호전문직관을 설문지를 통해 평가하였고, SPSS WIN 23.0 program 으로 분석하였다. 질적 접근으로는 수업참여에 대한 경험을 개방형 질문을 통해 면담하고 전사된 자료는 내용분석을 실시하였다. 비주얼 씽킹과 윈도우 패닝을 적용한 결과 윤리적의사 결정자신감(t=6.748, p<.001), 간호전문직관(t=-3.52, p<.001)은 통계적으로 유의한 변화를 보였으나 생명의료윤리의식(t=1.291, p=.199)은 유의한 변화가 없었다. 질적분석 결과, 신선한 경험, 낯설지만 편안한 느낌, 내것이 되어감, 부족한 시간, 이론 기반의 체계적인 사례연구 접근, 토의토론을 통한 협력과 조정능력함양, 다양한 전문직 분야에 대한 체감, 자긍심, 윤리적 책임의식, 학습내용의 현장적용 등을 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 비주얼 씽킹과 윈도우 패닝을 적용한 교수법은 간호교육에 있어서 다양한 역량을 함양하고 통합적인 학습이 일어나도록 돕는다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 반영하여 간호핵심역량을 개발하기 위한 타교과목의 수업개선에도 적용할 것을 제안한다.

유교적 가족윤리의 해체 전기(前期: 1880년대 초부터 1919년 3.1 운동이전까지)에 있어서의 가족윤리 실상 (The State of the Family Ethics in the Period of the Early Deconstruction of Confucian Family Ethics (From the Beginning of 1880's to the 3.1 movement of 1919))

  • This study was inquire into the state of the family ethics during the period of the beginning of 1880′s to the 3.1 independence movement of 1919 which has been the black period in the history of Korean family ethics. The research was conducted by analyzing the newspapers, magazines, related literature and articles of the period. It was the beginning of the 1860′s and by the "Cheondo-Kyo" (the Religion of the Heavenly) way that the issues regarding the equality of sexes as the central concern of the modem family ethics came to be the object of the social discourse for the first time in Korean history. The social discourse had come to be positively activated around 1900, when the intellectuals of the "Korean enlightenment" had begun to the feel necessity of the modernization of Korean socialite and the importance of the women education as the essential part of it. However, the activation of the social discourse itself, especially with the newspapers of that period did not mean the changes of the traditional Confucian family ethics, but the discourse of the modernizing forces had become the seeds for changing the family ethics of the Korean people. The made chauvinistic nature of the family ethics of the period was not so much different from those of the preceeding patriarch societies, but the state of the family ethics during the period are characterized by several social phenomenon such as the rising needs of using the "Hangle"(Korean alphabet) instead of Chinese character for the equal education of the both sexes, increasing practices of the early marriage, customs of trade marriage in accordance with the demand of excessive weeding presents, and regarding social consciousness of the traditional family ethics as patriotics attitude against the Christian rejection of the ancestor worship ritual.
