반복학습에 의한 CNC 머시닝 센터의 원호 보간 오차 보정 (Circular interpolation error reduction of a CNC machining center by iterative learning)

  • The errors in machining process by CNC machining center are due to many elements, such as the delay of the servo drivers, friction and the gain mismatch between x-axis and y-axis motors and so on. We made a counter circuit to measure the output of motor encoders for the motion error analysis of a CNC machining center, and have measured the errors experimentally when the CNC performs a circular interpolation. We have also used an iterative learning method to reduce the radius errors and stick motion errors generated by the CNC machining center performing a circular interpolation. The proposed learning scheme worked well and the circle obtained has smaller error.

  • We made a counter to measure the output of motor encoders for the motion error analysis of a CNC machining center, and have measured the dynamic characteristics and the position errors experimentally. Especially, we measured the radius errors for different feedrates and different radii when the CNC machining center performed a circular interpolation. We have also used an iterative learning method to reduce the radius errors and stick motion errors generated by the CNC machining center performing a circular interpolation. The results show that the proposed learning scheme can reduce the radius error and stick motion error significantly. The reduction of errors becomes more pronounced for higher feedrate and smaller radius.

  • To prevent similar accidents with the basis of industrial accidents already occurred in industrial plants, it would be possible only after true causes are grasped. Unfortunately, however, most accident investigation carried out with the basis of legal regulation failed to grasp them so that similar accidents have been repeated without cease. This research aimed to find out differences between results from conventional accident investigation and those from human error analysis, and to draw out effective and practical counter-plans against industrial accidents occurred repeatedly in an autoglass manufacturing company. As for analysis, about 110 accident cases that occurred for last 7 years were collected, and by adopting the Comprehensive Human Error Analysis Technique developed by the previous researchers, not direct causes but basic fundamental causes that might induce workers to human errors were sought. In consequence, the result showed that facility factors or environmental factors such as improper layout, mistakes in engineering design, and malfunction of interlock system were authentic major accident causes as opposed to managerial factors such as personal carelessness or failure to wearing personal protective equipments, and/or improper work methods.

A Study on Self Repairing for Fast Fault Recovery in Digital System by Mimicking Cell

  • Living cells generate the cell cycle or apoptosis, depending on the course will be repeated. If an error occurs during this period of life in order to maintain the cells in the peripheral cells find the error portion. These cellular functions were applied to the system to simulate the circuit. Circuit implementation of the present study was constructed the redundant structure in order to found the error quickly. Self-repairing of digital systems as an advanced form of fault-tolerance has been increasingly receiving attention according as digital systems have been more and more complex and speed-up especially for urgent systems or those working on extreme environments such as deep sea and outer space. Simulating the process of cell differentiation algorithm was confirmed by the FPGA on the counter circuit. If an error occurs on the circuit where the error was quickly locate and repair. In this paper, we propose a novel self-repair architecture for fast and robust fault-recovery that can easily apply to real, complex digital systems. These Self-Repairing Algorithms make it possible for the application digital systems to be alive even though in very noisy and extreme environments.

  • 본 논문에서는 pulsed-CW를 사용하는 위협 레이더 신호를 상쇄시키기 위한 능동 상쇄 신호에 임의의 파라미터 추정 오차가 존재하는 경우 능동 상쇄 신호의 영향을 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 능동 상쇄 측면에서 maximum-likelihood estimation (MLE) 기법 및 2차 보간 기법이 포함하는 추정 오차의 영향을 분석한다. 그리고 능동 상쇄 신호의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 MLE 기법의 파라미터 추정 오차를 보정하는 correlation 기반의 오차 보정 기법을 개선하여 적용하고, 이 기법이 능동 상쇄 관점에서 다른 기법보다 우수함을 모의실험을 통해 검증한다.

  • 일반적인 카운터 타입의 시간-디지털 변환기에서 시간간격 신호와 클록신호의 비동기로 인하여 디지털 변환에러가 발생한다. 클록의 주기를 $T_{CLOCK}$라고 하면, 시간간격 신호의 시작신호와 클록의 비동기로 인하여 최대 $T_{CLOCK}$의 변환에러가 발생한다. 그리고 시간간격 신호의 멈춤신호와 클록의 비동기로 인하여 최대 $-T_{CLOCK}$의 변환에러가 발생한다. 그러나 시작신호와 클록을 동기화하고 클록을 시간간격 신호동안 발생시킬 경우 디지털 변환에러의 범위는 0에서 $(1/2)T_{CLOCK}$이다.

NUMBER OF CYCLES IN EVOLUTIONARY OPERATION

  • Evolutionary operation (EVOP) proposed by Box (1957) is a method for continuous monitoring and improvement of a full-scale manufacturing process with the objective of moving the operating conditions toward the better ones. EVOP consists of systematically making small changes in the levels of the two or three process variables under consideration. Data are collected on the response variable at each point of two level factorial design with the center point and a cycle is said to have been completed. The cycles are replicated sequentially until the decision is made on whether further cycle of experiments is needed to conclude the significance of any of main effects or interaction effects or the curvature. In this paper, an improved flow chart of EVOP is proposed and how to determine the number of cycles is studied based on the size of type II error. In order to reject the alternative hypothesis of interests with more confidence and conclude that we believe in the null hypothesis of no effects, we propose a counter measure $p^*-value$ corresponding to the p-value. The relationship of $p^*-value$ to the probability of type II error ${\beta}$ under the alternative hypothesis of interests is analogous to that of p-value to the probability of type I error ${\alpha}$. Also the implementation of EVOP with a mixture experiment is discussed.

AC와 DC 노이즈가 있는 적분기 시스템에서 측정에러의 영향을 감소시키는 스위칭 상태 궤환 제어기의 설계 및 분석 (Design and Analysis of a Switching State Feedback Controller to Reduce the Measurement Error Effect for a Chain of Integrators System under AC and DC Noise)

  • In this paper, we propose a controller capable of reducing the effect of measurement errors under AC and DC noise. Typically, the control system measures data through a sensor. If sensor noise is included in a controller via the feedback channel, the signal is distorted and the entire system cannot work normally. Therefore, some appropriate action to counter the measurement error effect is essential in the controller design. Our controller is equipped with a gain-scaling factor and a compensator to reduce the effect of measurement error in the feedback signal. Also, we use a switching control strategy to enhance the performance of the controller regarding convergence speed. Our proposed controller can therefore effectively reduce the AC and DC noise of the sensor. We analyze the proposed controller by Laplace transform technique and our control method is verified via MATLAB simulation.

행렬의 명제 문제에 대한 오류 분석 및 교정 지도 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Error Analysis and Correction Method in Proof Problems of Matrix)

  • The purpose of the study is to analyze various types of errors appeared in true-false proof problems of matrix and to find out correction method. In order to achieve this purpose, error test was conducted to the subject of 87 second grade students who were chosen from D high schoool. It was shown from this test that the most frequent error type was caused by the lack of understanding about concepts and essential facts of matrix(35.3%), and then caused by the invalid logically reasoning (27.4%), and then caused by the misusing conditions(18.7%). Through three hours of correction lessons with 5 students, the following correction teaching method was proposed. First, it is stressed that the operation rules and properties satisfied in real number system can not be applied in matrix. Second, it is taught that the analytical proof method and the reductio ad absurdum method are useful in the proof problem of matrix. Third, it is explained that the counter example of E=$\begin{pmatrix}1\;0\\0\;1 \end{pmatrix}$, -E should be found in proof of the false statement. Fourth, it is taught that the determinant condition should be checked for the existence of the inverse matrix.

주파수 변조 기법에 의한 시간격 오차 개선에 대한 연구 (A Study on Frequency Modulation Method to Reduce Time Interval Error)

  • 본 논문에서는 비동기식 통신 시스템에서 시간격 오차를 개선하기 위한 기법을 연구하였다. 최대 시간격 오차를 유지하기 위한 방법을 제안하기 위하여 다중 위상 전압 제어 발진기와 보간기, 위상 선택기, 업-다운 카운터, 비교기, 덧셈기를 이용하여 주파수 변조기를 설계하고 모의실험을 수행하였다. 비동기식 CAN 통신에 사용하는 클록을 변조하는 모의실험 결과, 최대 시간격 오차는 허용치 보다 낮게 유지할 수 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 논문에서 제안한 주파수 변조 기법은 다중 위상 선택에 의한 주파수 변조 기법을 주축으로 하고 있으며, 높은 신뢰도가 요구되는 비동기식 통신 시스템의 구현에 효과적으로 적용 가능할 것으로 기대한다.
