금속 이물질이 에폭시 절연물의 절연파괴에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Metal Particle on Dielectric Breakdown of Epoxy Insulation)

  • Epoxy resin insulators show a lot of advantages for electrical power apparatus. Because epoxy resin provide electrical and mechanical characteristic which is excellent, it is desirable to apply epoxy resin as a spacer and post insulation in Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). In this study, we have investigated the influence of surface electric field attached particle contaminated spacer surfaces under SF6 gas. Also, we performed analysis of electric field. As a result, when the particle was attached on spacer, we found out a surface electric field of characteristics.

친환경 GIS Spacer용, 에폭시-나노-마이크로실리카 혼합 콤포지트의 교류 전기적, 기계적 특성 (AC Electrical and Mechanical Properties of Epoxy-Nano-Microsilica Mixed Composites for Eco-Friendly GIS Spacer)

  • In order to develop new insulating materials for GIS Spacer using environmentally friendly insulating gas, three kinds of dispersed liquid nano composites of solid epoxy /nano layered silicate filled material were prepared. And the epoxy/nano/micro silica composite was prepared by mixing epoxy/nano 3 phr dispersion/4 kinds of filler contents(40,50,60, 70wt%). The electrical insulation breakdown strengths of the nano and nano/micro mixed composites were evaluated by using 8 kinds of samples including the original epoxy. The mechanical tensile strength of the epoxy / nano / micro silica composite were evaluated, also. The TEM was measured to evaluate the internal structure of nano/micro composites. As a result, it was confirmed that the layered silicate nano particles was exfoliated through the process of inserting epoxy resin between silicate layers and the layers. In addition, dispersion of nano / micro silica resulted in improvement of electrical insulation breakdown strength with increase of filling amount of dense tissue with nanoparticles inserted between microparticles. In addition, the tensile strength showed a similar tendency, and as the content of microsilica filler increased, the mechanical improvement was further increased.

고전압 중전기기용 에폭시 수지 3종에 대한 교류트리잉 파괴특성 (Characteristics of AC Treeing for Three Epoxy Resins for High Voltage Heavy Electric Machine Appliances)

  • In this paper, the reliability test of three kinds of epoxy resin for GIS Spacer, which is a high voltage based heavy electric machine, AC electrical treeing experiments were performed. Three types of epoxy resins, Araldite B41, CT 5531 CI and B46, have slight viscosity differences. An non-uniform electric field, E = 1149.4 kV/mm, as the needle to plate electrode, a power source with a frequency of 1 kHz was applied to the tree electrode for accelerated deterioration. The treeing phenomena of the three kinds of epoxy resin all initiated, propagated, and destroyed by the branch tree. Epoxy Resin B46 was 145 times longer than B41 and 53 times longer than CT 5531CI. I think that the choice of epoxy resin is very important in choosing high voltage heavy electric machine insulation materials.

에폭시 알루미나 멀티-콤포지트의 기계적 특성연구 (Mechanical Properties of Epoxy Alumina Multi-Composites)

  • In order to develop an electrical insulation material for gas GIS (insulation switch gear) spacer, 4 types of epoxy/micro-alumina (40, 50, 60, 70 wt%) composites and 9 types of epoxy/nano-alumina (1, 3, 5 g)/micro-alumina (40, 50, 60, 70 wt%) composites were prepared and tensile test was carried out. In here, nano-alumina was previously surface-treated with GDE (glycerol diglycidyl ether). As micro-alumina and GDE-treated nano-alumina contents increased, tensile strength increased and the highest value was shown in the system with 3 g GDE-treated nano-alumina.

  • Epoxy resign is used to insulate electricity in the gas insulated switchgear. There were many research to find out characteristics of the epoxy resign. But there is a poor research for the mechanical investigations. In this paper, we made an experiment and evaluated mechanical properties with specimens of the epoxy resign. Using Spacer which is a part of high voltage switchgear, and we studied the structural analysis methods and made an overture a how to analysis in order to solve problems.

친환경 GIS Spacer용, 이종 무기물 절연소재의 혼합비 최적화를 위한 부분방전 저항성 특성 연구 (A Study on the Partial Discharge Resistance Characteristic for Optimizing the Mixing Ratio of Heterogeneous Inorganic Insulated Materials for Environmentally Friendly GIS Spacer)

  • 7 type composites (40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, and 70 wt.%)were prepared for the environmentally friendly GIS Spacer. Five kinds of samples were prepared for optimization of the filler content ratio (MS: MA = 1: 9, 3: 7, 5: 5, 7: 3, 9: 1) of epoxy / microsilica and microalumina. As a result of evaluation of the partial discharge resistance characteristic, surface erosion is generally slowed down as the fill amount of micro silica is increased. Also, partial discharge resistance characteristics for the development of insulating materials with optimal mixing ratios of heterologous showed a higher partial resistance of discharge and a decrease in erosion, as the filler content ratio of micro silica was larger. In the future, various researches such as electrical, mechanical, and thermal studies will be needed to develop insulating materials that can commercialize power devices in environmentally friendly insulating gas.

고점도형 고상에폭시/실리카와 알루미나 콤포지트의 전기적, 기계적 특성연구 (Study on Electrical and Mechanical Properties of High Viscosity Solid Epoxy / Silica and Alumina Composite)

  • In this study, 40, 50, 60, and 70 wt% filler dispersed samples were prepared for the current GIS Spacer or environmentally friendly GIS. In the AC electrical breakdown, EMSC and EMAC decreased with increasing filler content, and EMSC showed better breakdown strength than EMAC. The mechanical properties such as tensile strength and flexural strength of EMSC and EMAC were also increased with increasing filler content. In addition, EMSC results in better mechanical properties than EMAC. The reason for this is considered to be one in which the influence of the interface is important.

  • LCD용의 재료로 사용하기 위하여 새로이 합성된 저분자 액정 중간체들을 이용하여 epoxy resin 구조를 근간으로 하는 측쇄형 선형액정 고분자 및 가교된 측쇄형 액정 고분자를 만들고 이 들의 액정특성에 대하여 조사하였다. Alkyl spacer의 길이가 다른 방향족 amine 말단의 방향족 저분자 액정(ALC(n))과 ethylene glycol diglycidylether로부터 합성된 선형 측쇄형 고분자액정은 DSC 및 편광현미경 관찰로부터 mesogen으로 쓰인 저분자 액정과 같이 네마틱 액정상을 보였으며 spacer $-(CH_2){_n}-$의 길이에 따라 액정상-등방상 전이온도($T_{NI}$)는 even-odd현상을 나타내었다. 선형 및 가교형 측쇄 액정고분자의 $T_{NI}$는 저분자 액정의 그것에 비해 더 낮은 온도에서 나타났으며 또한 가교형 측쇄 액정고분자의 경우에는 가교제인 1,10-diaminodecane 사용량에 따른 $T_g$$T_{NI}$의 변화폭이 그렇게 크지 않은 것이 관찰되었다.

표면개질된 나노 알루미나의 에폭시-나노 콤포지트 유전 특성 (Dielectric Properties of Epoxy-Nano Composites for Surface Modified Nano Alumina)

  • The aim of this study is to improve of dielectric properties using epoxy/nano alumina composites with adding glycerol diglycidyl ether (GDE:1,2 g). This paper deals with the effects of dielectric properties(${\epsilon}^{\prime}_r$ and $tan{\delta}$) for epoxy/nano alumina contents (1,3 phr) and GDE addition (1,2 g)composites. 5 kinds specimen were prepared with containing epoxy resins, epoxy nano alumina composites. Average particle size of nano used were 30 nm. The nano alumina used were gamma phase particles of spherical shape. The suppression of epoxy chain motion by addition of nano alumina+GDE decreased dielectric loss and relative permittivity magnitude.

에폭시 절연의 전기적 트리잉에 관한 표면 개질된 나노알루미나의 영향 (The Influence of Surface Modified Nano Alumina for Electrical Treeing in Epoxy Insulation)

  • This paper presents the results of a study on the effect of surface modified alumina nanocomposites on electrical tree growth in epoxy insulation. Treeing experiments were conducted at a fixde AC voltage (500kV/mm, 10kV/60Hz)on unfilled epoxy sample as well as epoxy nanocomposites of 4 types with different loading and surface modified GDE gram. Time for tree growth as well as tree propagation length were studied. The results show that there is a significant improvement tree propagation time compare unfilled epoxy to epoxy nano alumina composites. Different tree propagation shapes as well as slower tree growth with 4 types nano alumina composites were observed.
