  • 공정기술의 미세화가 진행될수록 반도체 제품의 개발비용은 급격히 증가 할 것으로 예측되고 있다. 이는 지속적으로 증가하는 설계 복잡도와 미세공정에서 고성능 및 저전력 반도체 구현의 어려움에 의한 것이다. 제품수명기간(Product Life Cycle: PLC)이 점점 짧아지지만 핵심 부품인 반도체 제품의 개발기간과 설계인력은 급격히 증가해감에 따라 늘어만 가는 개발 비용은 반도체 제품의 수익향상 측면에서 매우 큰 장애가 되고 있다. 따라서 설계의 복잡화와 구현의 어려움 이라는 기술적인 문제들을 해결하여 시장에서의 생존이 걸린 극한적인 경쟁환경에서 살아 남기위해서는 반도체 설계의 paradigm 자체를 변화 시켜야 할 것이다. 이에 대한 해법으로 반도체 설계의 abstraction level을 현재의 RTL에서 상위 수준으로 올리고 설계의 virtualization을 해야 한다는 것은 설계 재사용과 신개념 검증 방법 기술과 함께 필수적인 변화의 한 방향이다. 이미 수년전부터 많은 연구 논문에서 이와 관련된 새로운 system 설계 기술들이 제시되어 왔고, 이에 대응하는 platform 기반의 설계기법 소개와 삼성전자의 구축현황에 대해 저자는 지난 논문에서 기술 한 바 있다. 본 논문은 2003년 9월 이후 platform 설계기법의 virtual 화가 어떻게 발전되어 왔는지에 대해 기술하고 문제점 확인 및 앞으로 이에 대한 해결 방안들의 방향에 대해 논하고자 한다.

Analysis of the Heat Radiation of LED Light Fixture using CF-design (LED조명기구의 CF-Design 방열 해석)

  • This thesis is about the design of heat sink which is the obstacle in commercializing LED light fixture. It suggests a way of solving the problem by the analysis on heat radiation of LED light fixture using CF-design. As a result of the analysis, the difference of simulation value and the measured temperature of proto-type was derived as less than 6[$^{\circ}C$]. Even the results approaching the target value of actual product could be obtained with the given factors well applied.

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 국내 철도 및 지하철에 전력을 공급하는 전력설비들의 진단시스템 운용실태를 돌아보고 기존의 시스템을 최대한 존중하면서 좀더 효율적인 진단을 수행할 수 있도록 하는 방안을 모색하였다. 또한 판매자에 따라 다른 통신방식과 다른 HMI를 사용함으로 인하여 발생되는 많은 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 통합된 시스템을 구성하였고 그에 따라서 여러 진단센서들을 종합적으로 연계하여 상호 연관관계를 가지고 서로의 정보를 공유하면서 통합적인 진단이 가능하도록 하였다.

  • This thesis is about Heat-sink design which is considered as the biggest problems for commercialization of LED lighting and suggests how to solve the problems though analysis on heat-sink using COMSOL. The temperature difference after simulation value and modelling was $10^{\circ}C$by Transient analysis of Heat Transfer Module which is in the COMSOL Multiphysics. The result approximated the object which is close to actual lighting, when various elements are used according to temperature change of interior and exterior surroundings LED lighting is set up.

  • We studied the nematic liquid crystal (NLC) alignment capability by the IB(Ion bean) alignment method on a NDLC(Nitrogen Diamond Like Carbon) as a-C:H thin film. and investigated electro-optical performances of the IBaligned IPS(In plane switching)cell with NDLC surface. A good LC alignment by IB exposure on a NDLC surface was achieved. Monodomain alignment of the IB aligned IPS cell can be observed. The goodelectro-optical (EO) characteristics of the IB aligned IPS cell was observed with oblique IBexposure on the NDLC as a-C:H thin film for 1 min.

  • The kinetics and the mechanism for the selective oxidation of ethylene on the supported monolithic silver catalyst were experimentally investigated in a fixed bed tubular reactor. The formation rates of ethylene oxide and carbon dioxide were measured at the atmospheric pressure with various combinations of partial pressures of ethylene and oxygen at temperature range of $225-300^{\circ}C$, conversion with 1.2-7.5 %, and then the mechanism of the selective oxidation of ethylene was verified. Their formation rates fitted with the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechnism. The ethylene oxide and carbon dioxide are produced by reation of adsorbed ethylene with monoatomic oxygen adsorbed on the active sites of Ag-surface, and their formation rate equation are expressed as : $R_{EO}={\frac{k_1K_0{^{1/2}}K_EK_SP_{02}{^{3/2}}P_E}{(1+{\sqrt{K_0P_{02}}}+K_EP_E+K_PP_P)^2(1+{\sqrt{K_SP_{02}})^2}}$ $R_C={\frac{k_2K_0{^3}K_EK_S{^{7/2}}P_{02}{^{13/2}}P_E}{(1+{\sqrt{K_0P_{02}}}+K_EP_E+K_PP_P)^7(1+{\sqrt{K_SP_{02}})^7}}$ The activation energies of ethylene oxide and dioxide and carbon dioxide formations can be estimated to be 12.25 and 17.85 Kcal/mol, respectively.

COB, COH Package LED Module Thermal Analysis Simulation (COB, COH Package LED Module 열 해석 시뮬레이션)

  • In this paper, thermal analysis simulation program by taking advantage of COMSOL Multiphysics, LED Module for the production of the most preferred package type, omitting the COH Type COB Type and board simulation of the thermal analysis is in progress. LED Module that passes through the Heat-sink of the simulation results, depending on the location of the COB Type Max. Approximately $78^{\circ}C$ ~ Min. Approximately $62^{\circ}C$, COH Type the Max. Approximately $88^{\circ}C$ ~ Min. Approximately $67^{\circ}C$ has been confirmed that the temperature stability. Compared with COB Type Max. AIthough temperature difference is about $10^{\circ}C$, Min. At a temperature of about $5^{\circ}C$ confirmed to be enough to reduce the gap, LED Point confirming the results of the temperature curves for COB Type Max. Approximately $100^{\circ}C$ ~ Min. Approximately $77^{\circ}C$, COH Type the Max. Approximately $100^{\circ}C$ ~ Min. Approximately $86^{\circ}C$ temperature stability was confirmed that, COB Type COH Type, compared to approximately $10^{\circ}C$ temperature was higher.

  • 본 논문은 현장에 운전 중인 모터를 효율적으로 고압 모터 감시 및 진단 기법을 검토하고 현장에 보다 적합한 고압모터 감시 및 진단 시스템을 설계 및 개발에 관하여 기술하였다. 고압 모터의 감시 및 진단 방법은 MCSA(Motor Current Signature Analysis) 기법을 기반으로 하여 순시전력, 공극토크, 진동분석 등 다양한 기법이 있으며 이 기법을 적용한 시스템이 출시되고 있다. 그러나 사용자의 요구 및 편이가 반영되지 않아 그대로 적용하기에는 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내의 실정 및 사용자의 편이 맞도록 진단 시스템을 개발 필요성이 요구되어 다양한 검출 요소를 종합적으로 이용한 보다 현장에 적합하고 유용한 모터 감시 시스템을 설계하였다.

Genomic changes of c-myc, c-H-ras in benzo(a)pyrene and dimethylbenz(a)anthracene treated human lymphoblast NC-37 cells (Benzo(a)pyrene과 dimethylbenz(a)anthracene에 의한 사람 림프아세포(NC-37)의 c-myc, c-H-ras 유전자 변화)

  • To investigate genomic changes in c-myc gene by a chemical carcinogen, human lymphoblast NC-37 cells were exposed to benzo(a)pyrene(BP) and dimethylbenzanthracene(DMBA), and the c-myc gene expression was evaluated by Northern and Southern blot hybridization techniques. The results are as follows: When the genomic DNA of NC-37 cells exposed to several concentrations(1.25, 2.5 and 5ug/ml) of BP concentration. However, the c-myc gene was most significantly enhanced with 2.5ug/ml of BP. The expressions of c-myc gene in NC-37 cells was stimulated by BP and DMBA. Addition of TPA reduced the gene expression BP-treated cells, whereas it enhanced the gene expression in DMBA-treated cells. The expression of c-H-ras gene was slightly increased by treatment with BP and DMBA alone and in combination with TPA, however the magnitude of increase was not significantly different between each other. The expressions of c-myc c-H-ras genes in Burkitt's lymphoma cells were greater than those in NC-37 cells. When the DNA extracted from NC-37 cells exposed to various concentrations of BP were amplified by polymerase chain reaction using a primer set containing c-myc exon I, the amplified products were of the same size in all groups. To evaluate the BP toxicity in E.coli to which human c-myc gene-cloned pBR322 vector was inserted, Southern blot hybridization was conducted on c-myc genes digested with EcoRI/HindIII and Smal/Xbal restriction enzymes, and observing that in 2 ug/ml BP-treated cells a 3.5kb fragment was generated in addition to 1.3kb fragment which can be observed in normal cells. Direct nucleotide sequence analysis of polymerase chain reaction products showed a mutation of G$\longrightarrow$A transition at the Smal recognition site.

  • The optimum resolution condition of 11 organophosphorus pesticides by gas-liquid chromatography was studied using a capillary column. The injection modes and types of vaporization tubes were evaluated in relation to pesticide analysis. The best reproducibility of peak heights of pesticides was obtained by the split mode with the vaporization tube packed with quartz wool. A 25m SE-30 capillary column provided better resolution than SE-54 column for their optimum resolution. The column at $200^{\circ}C$ initially was heated by $5^{\circ}C/min\;to\;230^{\circ}C$ followed by $10^{\circ}C/min\;to\;270^{\circ}C$ and the temperatures were held constant for 5 minutes at $230^{\circ}C\;and\;270^{\circ}C$, respectively. The relative standard deviations of their retention times were less than 0.19%.
