This study analyzed management situations of two organizations that have produced environment-friendly agricultural and processed meat products. 'A' farming corporation sells environment-friendly agricultural products like as grains, vegetables, fruits and processing foods. 'B' agricultural corporation processes and sells environment-friendly processed meat products, specially organic and antibiotic-free beef products. Recently, members and production areas of 'A' farming corporation have decreased because of their aging and labor shortage. And Indices for the management analysis are stability ratio, activity ratio and profitability ratio. Stability ratio indices are debt ratio, net worth ratio, fixed ratio and current ratio. Activity ratio ones include fixed assets turnover and net worth turnover. And profitability ratio is showed through return on investment, net return on sales and return on equity.

A garlic (Allium sativum L.) is an important and useful vegetable such that it is not only most used for spices but also exploited for health foods and pharmaceuticals. The garlic is a kind of vegetable propagated vegetatively through cloves. Therefore, development of new varieties of garlics is possible only through selection breeding because cross breeding is impossible. (omitted)

지하저장탱크가 설치된 지 20년 이상 경과된 D주유소를 대상으로 14개의 지점에 대한 토양 및 지하수 오염도 조사를 실시하였다. 현장의 토양이나 지하수는 저장탱크나 주유기로부터 거리에 따라 다소 차이가 있었으나 불포화 층에 Free Liquid 상태의 유류가 존재할 정도로 상당히 오염되어 있다는 것을 확인하였으며, 본 대상지역의 오염원은 가솔린보다는 디젤에 의해 더 심하게 오염된 것으로 조사되었다.

Geosynthetic Clay Liners(GCLs) have been widely used as hydraulic barrier in landfills and remediation projects of contaminated sites. The aim of this research is to modify GCLs for effective removal of contaminants. We perform the free swell test, hydraulic conductivity test, and contaminants (TCE, hexavalent chromium, and nitrate) removal test on the bentonite-ZVI mixture with various ZVI content. As the ZVI content increased, contaminants removal efficiencies and swell volume increased, and hydraulic conductivity decreased.

In this paper, performance evaluation of HNCP home network is using stochastic activity network models is proposed. HNCP is a home network protocol for controling and monitoring home appliances using power line communication. a CSMA/CA with packet drop method is used in HNCP MAC layer. Using the proposed stochastic activity network models. performances of HNCP home networks with error-free environment and error environment are evaluated.

Sub-region cooperation is necessary based on the condition that China-Japan-Korea free trade area has not been established. Shandong has common interests with Koreain economic and trade cooperation and it has been equipped with prominent external environment and industrial advantages in sub-region cooperation. The article discusses the advantages, the specific patterns, the cooperation contents and the matched government measures of sub-region cooperation between Shandong and Korea, with the purpose of modifying the relevant policies launched by government.

In Korea, the market size for environment-friendly agricultural products has reached a plateau, even though many Korean consumers still show a high level of preference for environment-friendly agricultural products. In order to solve this problem, some Korean farmers and marketers are starting to try to export their products to many countries, including China. China, in particular, is becoming one of the fastest rising market for Korean environment-friendly agricultural products, after the signing of the Free Trade Agreement with China. However, little research has been done or reported about the purchase behaviors of Chinese consumers. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the environment-friendly agricultural product purchase behavior (especially, mandarin orange and muskmelon) of consumers in the Chinese market and to present some useful implications for Korean farmers and marketers. Through survey in China (especially, Beijing and Shanghai) and frequency analysis, this study made the following findings: first, Chinese consumers show a very strong concern for environment-friendly agricultural products. Second, many Chinese consumers usually buy environment-friendly agricultural products more than two times per month. Third, Chinese consumers give more value to freshness and food-safety than taste when they make decisions on buying environment-friendly mandarin orange and muskmelon. These can have some implications for the exportation of environment-friendly agricultural products.

A novel nitric acid-free desmut solution has been developed to remove smut, which is produced from a NaOH etching, on the surface of aluminum alloy metal in metal surface treatment processes. Comparing with the performance of 5% $HNO_3$ desmut solution, the mixed acid solution containing 2% $H_2O_2$, 0.5% HF, and 10% $H_2SO_4$ shows the same effect of smut removal for aluminum alloy samples of A16061 and A15052. To examine the surface alterations of the aluminum samples, in addition, the surface analysis is carried out with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron probe microanalysis (EPMA).

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to provide information in reference to the health hazards of asbestos substitutes. Methods: This study was conducted by reviewing the literature on the types of asbestos substitutes, product development using alternative materials and the health effects associated with asbestos substitutes. Results: Synthetic or natural fibers such as synthetic vitreous fiber, polyamide, attapulgite, sepiolite and wollastonite are known as asbestos substitutes. According to the patents data of the United States and Europe since the 1970s, many asbestos-free products have been developed in a variety of industries. Health hazards of some asbestos substitutes including synthetic vitreous fibers have been evaluated by many experts, however, additional researches are required to be carried out in the future. Conclusions: Alternatives to asbestos are necessary to develop the asbestos-free products. Health hazards for only several asbestos substitutes have been assessed so far and occupational exposure limit has not been established for many asbestos substitutes yet. Therefore, even though workers are handling asbestos-free products, it is recommended to control the working environment well enough in order to minimize the exposure of workers to dusts or fibers caused during the working process.

Objectives This study aimed to evaluate the effects of atopic care program through observing atopic patients who have lived in atopic-free village located Geumsan of Chungnam province. Methods Seventeen children (boy 7, and girl 10) with atopic dermatitis had moved into atopic-free village of Geumsan, and they have been cared with atopic care program. Atopic dermatitis symptoms were measured every month using SCORAD (Scoring of Atopic Dermatitis) and EASI (Eczema Area and Severity Index) from March, 2012 to September, 2013. The changes of scores were analyzed using paired t-test. Results The median month of residence period was 19.9 months (range from 6 to 42 months). The atopic symptoms were significantly improved on SCORAD (p<0.01) and EASI (p<0.1) respectively. Conclusion Despite the limitation of the small number of study subjects, this study may provide the possibility of natural environment-based therapy for children with atopic dermatitis.
