Watched how redundant works were occurring in the second yards, and presented a problem Also, present the hint point tint these redundant works analyze how productivity of quay productivity and container crane is improved if solution works, and face to this.

  • Refrigerated warehouse inventory management program which manages the logistics of shipping&receiving and inventory quickly and accurately is a costly and labor-intensive maintenance because it is operated in the legacy system on a closed client-server environment. There are no services available for consignees who are the consumers of refrigerated warehouses except fax or phone for orders which makes the business process inefficient and creates many problems such as error and inaccuracy. In this paper, we design and implement a mobile framework with a legacy system supporting various services to the consignees for solving problems of outdated legacy systems and no services to use. The system supports promptness and accuracy which give the users improved satisfaction by providing orders and queries of inventory for the consignees on mobile devices.

  • Recently. large number of countires have been focused on the construction of container seaport and hub airport to enrole as the center of logistics. In particular, the East Asian nations have been enhanced their airports' facilities in order to accommodate for demand of global market environment. In Korea, Incheon International Airport (ICN) was opened in 2001 to take leading role as the Northeast Asian main hub airport. The purpose of this research is to analyze the transferring connectivity at ICN. To analyze its connectivity, this research has been applies two methodologies ; wane structure and minimum or maximun connection time analysis It has analyzed the temporal configuration as the frequency and quality of indirect connections offered by an airline by adopting a wave-system structure in the airline flight schedule. As an empirical analysis, it also calculated the minimum and maximum connection time adopting Korean Air's flight information.

  • The technique of localization is the core technology for information exchange or environment monitering to measure the position of an object or person. Today, the techniques of localization have been studied extensively and it can be applied to logistics, medical, robotics, etc. But, a lot of money to apply technique of localization is needed. Hence in this paper, we proposed AoA localization system based on Zigbee at low cost. The System measured the RSSI value by rotating the directional antenna using a step motor and Zigbee module. When the measured RSSI is the largest, the receiver measures the angles from beacons which are located at the corners with the rotating angle of a stepping motor and the position of the receiver will be calculated by appling AoA localization method. The measured results show an error about 35~36 cm.

  • The demand of international intermodal transportation is continuously increasing in accordance with a changing environment on international logistics, Under this circumstance, the Sea&Air intermodal transportation, combined by sea-based and air-based transport, has a potential growth in the future. After analyzing routes for Origin/Destination and implementing portfolio analysis, finally, this research aims to propose alternatives to create additional customers(or cargoes) for the Sea&Air transport. As a result of the analyses, China appeared to be a major customer of the Sea&Air transport in Korea because some of the Chinese areas - i.e. Qingdao, Shanghai, Weihai and Yantai - account for 88.1% of the total throughput. In general, this indicates that it would be more efficient to establish specific strategies targeting those major areas. Excluding the four areas, most of the other area, have much less demands and are relatively unstable. The demands, growth rates and market shares especially in Vladivostok, Dandong and Tianjinxingang are on the decrease, and therefore, stable strategies seems to be appropriate than aggressive strategies for these areas.

  • This thesis describes the key elements for efficient customs clearance system which can facilitate flow of maritime container cargo in the pier area of Busan port, on the basis of considering great changes on international trade environment, development of customs clearance system, variation of commercial container traffic, and diverse views originated from field experience in the distribution industry. To facilitate the flow of maritime containers, reform plan of bonded-transportation and import declaration is proposed to relieve the customs restriction during the days from discharging cargos to taking them into bonded warehouse. Also, various plans to strengthen maritime security, such as customs exam of high-risk export cargos in loading port, pre-declaration of transit container replacement, container tracing system, are proposed to improve Busan port's competitiveness in safety.

  • These days RFID application has been developed rapidly. It has been applied to many business areas such as logistics and supply chains. The Electronic Product Code (EPC) Network Architecture, an open global standard, is proposed by EPCglobal for developing RFID enabled systems. People who want to obtain the product information which are master information and event information have to apply with EPC Network Architecture. However, EPCIS which has master information and event information has to be accessed base on each EPC. Therefore, there is lots of duplicate accessing to EPCIS because RFID application has to access the same EPCIS over again which makes all performance down in EPC Network. This paper proposes how to reduce access times to EPCIS using EPC grouping based on EPCIS address. We build EPC Network environment to experiment about performance of RFID application system and we prove the improvement of EPC Network. Our result shows the reducing the EPCIS communication time by maximum 99 percentages.

  • Road freight transport industry in Korea contains many and complicate problems such as over supply of the vehicle caused by rapid policy changes, illegal multilevel transactions, poor truck drivers working environment, lack of road freight transport related statistics and so on. Korean government has developed various logistics industrial policy trying to solve these problems in various ways. However the relationship among the problems and action plans has been more and more entangled since the part of suggested policies have made another perverted problems. These complex structure of the toad freight transport industry in Korea makes difficult to identify and to solve the problems. Causal map method helps to give a clean picture to understand the complex industry at a fiance. This study contributes for visualization of the causal relationships among the existing problems and related policy issues in the road freight transport industry in Korea by causal map. This study could be helpful to develop the actual road freight transport industrial policies including the illogical multilevel and unfair transaction in Korea.

  • Today as the scale of e-commerce constantly expands, the number and the amount of the consumer frauds are also increasing very rapidly, without sufficient levels of systematic support to prevent them. Internet Escrow service is one of the promising payment mechanisms, which guarantees secure electronic trades and payments. Especially, if the real-time product delivery information is available via RFID-based track-and-trace environment, the security and efficiency of the Internet Escrow services would be improved a lot. In this research, proposed a novel approach to integrate EPCglobal Network, which is a de-facto standard for RFID-based information network model, with Internet Escrow services. The proposed service model was implemented in the form of "Integrated Financial Platform", which supports the contracts among trading partners and the payment via Escrow services by being fully integrated with bank systems. Using the implemented EPCglobal Network-based Escrow service system, we would be able not only to shorten the money-flow cycle and to develop new kinds of loan services, but also to overcome the problems of existing Escrow services including the lack of product-related information and the delay of purchasing decisions.

  • As the number of users who are involved in a business process increases, it becomes imperative to effectively control their privileges of accessing sensitive data and information which are usually easily obtained by BPM system. Traditional RBAC (Role-based Access Control) model was first introduced to provide a logical framework to prevent unauthorized users from obtaining confidential, but in more dynamic environment such as B2B and SCM process, it usually lacks in capability of addressing such issues as configurability, customizability, or scalability of user privileges. In this study, we have proposed a privilege-template based RBAC model that can address such issues effectively. We also provided a design of the RBAC model along with illustrative examples and pseudo codes that can be used for implementing a prototype system.
