Adaptive Control is used in order to improve close loop dynamics with a fuzzy controller when process parameters are unknown or fluctuate form an initial value. The way in which the adaptive control environment may be applied is the following. First we obtain a linear fuzzy controller. Second, we apply the adaptive rules by means of actuating directly over fuzzy variables which change their value. The techniques are based on Lyapunov functions. Third, we comment about extending this method to non-piecewise linear controllers using the contrast definition for a fuzzy controller.

Most electronic chassis control systems until today have been designed with optimization on its own performance. However, According to the increase of the interest regarding a vehicle safety and development of information technique, the integration technique of current chassis systems is being emphasized. Each enterprise proposed it with name of GCC(Global Chassis Control) or UCC(Unified Chassis Control). This study realizes control algorithm of suspension and brake by using the vehicle model of low degree of freedom as the primary stage of realization of integrated chassis control system. The proposed algorithm build the simulation environment connected to the CarSim having full vehicle model of 27 degree of freedom for raising the thrust of results

Over the past few decades, a considerable number of studies have been conducted on the technologies to build an UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) control system. Today, focus in research has moved from a standalone control system towards a network-centric control system for multiple UAV systems. Enabling the design of such complex systems in easily understandable forms that are amenable to rigorous analysis is a highly desirable goal. In this paper, we discuss our experimental evaluation of the Time-triggered Message-triggered Object (TMO) structuring scheme in the design of the UAV control system. The TMO scheme enables high-level structuring together with design-time guaranteeing of accurate timings of various critical control actions with significantly smaller efforts than those required when using lower-level structuring schemes based on direct programming of threads, UDP invocations, etc. Our system was validated by use of environment simulator developed based on an open source flight simulator named FlightGear. The TMO-structured UAV control software running on a small computing platform was easily connected to a simulator of the surroundings of the control system, i.e., the rest of the UAV and the flight environment. Positive experiences in both the TMO-structured design and the validation are discussed along with potentials for future expansion in this paper.
In this paper, we present a force control of a five-axes robot, using an impedance model. Tasks such as assembly, grinding, and deburring, which involve extensive contact with the environment, are better handled by controlling the forces of interaction between the manipulator and the environment. The five-link articulated robot is equipped with a wrist force sensor which consists of an array of strain gauges and can delineate the three components of the vector force along the three axes of the sensor coordinate frame, and the three components of the torque about these axes. For the precise control of the contact force, impedance models of a robot and the environment are defined. Experimental results are shown.

The main objective of this paper is to analyze the performance of various force control algorithms in improving and adjusting the compliance of industrial robots in contact with their environment. Some of fundamental force control algorithms such as sensorless control, impedance control and hybrid position/force control are theoretically analyzed and simulated for various situations of an environment, and then a series of experiments using them were performed. In this paper, a control scheme to use position control in implementing the impedance control was investigated in order to nullify the effect of joint friction. The new reference trajectory is generated using contact force feedback and original desired trajectory. And an inner position control loop is designed to provide accurate position tracking for the new reference trajectory and good disturbance rejection. Experiments to insert a peg in a hole (so-called the peg-in-a-hole task) were performed with HILS (hardware-in-theloop simulation) system based on the results of the analyses and simulations on the characteristics of each control algorithm. The experiments showed that various force control methods improved the performance of robots in close contact with the environment by adjusting their compliance with respect to an arbitrary set of coordinates.
Development and realizatioin of adaptive Active Noise Cntrol used for quieting transformer nosie are planed to provide workers with comfortable working environment and to attenuate the noise for residents in many noisy areas(power plant, power transformer, GIS transformer etc.).

This two-part paper presents a control method that allows for stable interaction of a robot manipulator with environment. In part 1, we focus on the input output relationships (unstructured modeling) of the robot and environment dynamics. This analysis leads to a general condition for stability of the robot and environment taken as a whole. This stability condition, for stable maneuver, prescribes a finite sensitivity for robot and environment where sensitivity of the robot (or the environment) is defined as a mapping forces into displacement. According to this stability condition, smaller sensitivity either in robot or in environment leads to narrower stability range. In the limit, when both systems have zero sensitivity, stability cannot be guaranteed. These models do not have any particular structure, yet they can model a wide variety of industrial and research robot manipulators and environment dynamic behavior. Although this approach of modeling may not lead to and design procedure, it will allow us to understand the fundamental issues in stability when a robot interacts with an environment.

In this paper, we introduce the improved control method are communicated between a master and a slave robot in the teleoperation systems. When the master and slave robots are located in different places, time delay is unavoidable under the network environment and it is well known that the system can become unstable when even a small time delay exists in the communication channel. The time delay may cause instability in teleoperation systems especially if those systems include haptic feedback. This paper presents a control scheme based on the estimator with virtual master model in teleoperation systems over the network. As the behavior of virtual model is tracking the one of master model, the operator can control real master robot by manipulating the virtual robot. And LQG/LTR scheme was adopted for the compensation of un-modeled dynamics. The approach is based on virtual master model, which has been implemented on a robot over the network. Its performance is verified by the computer simulation and the experiment.
As the ubiquitous technology has penetrated into almost every aspect of modern life, the research of the security technology to solve the weakness of security in the ubiquitous environment is received much attention. Because, however, today's security systems are usually based on the fixed rules, many security systems can not handle diverse situations in the ubiquitous environment appropriately. Although many existing researches on context aware security service are based on ACL (Access Control List) or RBAC (Role Based Access Control), they have an overhead in the management of security policy and can not manipulate unexpected situations. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a context-aware security service providing multiple authentications and authorization from a security level which is decided dynamically in a context-aware environment using FCM (Fuzzy C-Means) clustering algorithm and Fuzzy Decision Tree. We show proposed model can solve typical conflict problems of RBAC system due to the fixed rules and improve overhead problem in the security policy management. We expect to apply the proposed model to the various applications using contextual information of the user such as healthcare system, rescue systems, and so on.

Neural networks are known as kinds of intelligent strategies since they have learning capability. There are various their applications from intelligent control fields; however, their applications have limits from the point that the stability of the intelligent control systems is not usually guaranteed. In this paper we propose an adaptive tracking control for robot manipulators using the radial basis function network (RBFN) that is e. kind of neural networks. Adaptation laws for parameters of the RBFN are developed based on the Lyapunov stability theory to guarantee the stability of the overall control scheme. Filtered tracking errors between actual outputs and desired outputs are discussed in the sense of the uniformly ultimately boundedness(UUB). Additionally, it is also shown that parameters of the RBFN are bounded. Experimental results for a SCARA-type robot manipulator show that the proposed adaptive tracking controller is adaptable to the environment changes and is more robust than the conventional PID controller and the neuro-controller based on the multilayer perceptron.
