This study focuses on analyzing the key success factors of the traditional market by analyzing the impact on the business performance of merchants in the traditional market. Based on the existing research on entrepreneurship, psychological characteristics, capabilities, and physical characteristics of the market were considered as merchant characteristics. As a result, the risk characteristics and merchant pride, which are internal characteristics of merchants, have a significant effect on business performance. Among the competencies of merchants, product competency, customer management competency, and price competency were found to have a significant impact on business performance. Among the physical characteristics of the market, reputation and product diversity were found to have a significant effect on business performance. The results of this study are meaningful to empirically prove the relevance of the merchant's internal characteristics and capabilities, and the market's physical characteristics to the business performance of market merchants. Could be utilized. However, the limitation of this study is that there may be differences in each industry in the case of market merchant products. In future studies, empirical studies on the trader's relevance to business capability and business performance should be continued.

This study surveyed how retirees' evaluation of starting food service business affects the effectiveness their new business and quality of life, based on personal factors such as entrepreneurship and business-starting capability and environmental factors by using questionnaires. Bootstrapping was carried out in order to find out factors affecting rapidly changing new business environments and retirees' initial intent to start a business so as to verify basic hypothesis about relation between retirees' evaluation of starting food service business (social, economic, and psychological effects) and the effectiveness of their new business and quality of life and confirm whether the effectiveness of the new business acts as a medium between the evaluation of starting food service business and quality of life. In addition, PLS-MGA was performed in order to verify whether the correlations among test factors can be varied according to the kind of job the target retirees had. Having examined the basic thesis, it was found that social and economic factors had significant positive effect on the effectiveness of the new business, and social and psychological factors had significant positive effect on the quality of life. Having analyzed whether the effectiveness of new business acted as a media between evaluation of starting food service business and quality of life, there was no significant effect as a medium. Having studied whether the kind of job of the retirees controlled or affected the relations among evaluation of starting food service business, effectiveness of new business and quality of life, the results were as follows: in the office job retiree group, the greater economic factor led to increase of effectiveness of new business, while social and psychological factors influenced the quality of life; In the physical labor group, the higher social factor resulted in higher effectiveness of new business, which showed significant positive effect on the quality of life. Having researched about which element is considered to be most important in starting food service business, the most important element was found to be dish/menu, followed by staff management, accounting management, business management, and service education. Having analyzed relation between accomplishment and important consideration for starting food service business, "managers with entrepreneurship," "appropriate distribution of time to prepare for starting business," and "operation of practical field education programs" showed higher importance compared to the degree of satisfaction, so it is needed to more concentrate on the above matters. This study intends to raise retirees' awareness of starting business and help them live better life based on the analysis results, and further suggest detailed mechanism and specific operations of factors affecting retirees' decision making on starting business, such that they can use the information as basic materials to make better choices that can lead to successful business.

This paper is a study on the digitization of an analog 3D pen. The term digital implies features such as homeostasis, transformability, combinability, reproducibility, and convenience of storage. One device that produces a combination of these digital characteristics is a 3D printer, but its industrial use is limited due to low productivity and limitations with materials and physical characteristics. In particular, improvements are required to use 3D printers, such as better user accessibility owing to expertise and skills in modeling software and printers. Complementing this fact is the 3D pen, which is excellent in portability and ease of use, but has a limitation in that it cannot be digitized. Therefore, in order to secure a digitalization capability and ease of use, and to secure the safety of printing materials that pose controversial hazards during the printing process, research problems and alternatives have been derived by combining food, and digitization was demonstrated with a newly developed 3D pen. In order to digitize the 3D pen, a sensor in a structured device detects the motion of an analog 3D pen, and this motion is converted into 3D data (X-Y-Z coordinate values) through a spatial analysis algorithm. To prove this method, the similarity was confirmed by visualization using MeshLab version 1.3.4. It is expected that this food pen can be used in youth education and senior healthcare programs in the future.

This study examined the effects of adversity quotient and R&D capabilities on corporate performance and the mediating role of organizational creativity influencing factors in the relationship between these variables. This study established seven hypotheses, divided the adversity quotient into control, reach, and endurance, divided organizational creativity influencing factors into organizational resources and creative management practices, and divided corporate performance into management performance and technical performance. This study distributed 1,000 One hundred and sixteenquestionnaires to CEOs working at small and medium-sized technology start-ups in Gyeonggi-do and collected 122 copies under anonymous names. 116 questionnaires were used for hypothesis testing, excluding 6 cases in which responses were unfaithful or omitted. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that reach among the adversity quotient was positively related to organizational resources. Second, among the adversity quotient, control was found to have a positive(+) effect on management performance and technical performance, respectively. Third, organizational management practices were found to have a positive(+) effect on management performance. Fifth, organizational resources were found to partially mediate the relationship between control and technical performance, and to fully mediate the relationship between reach and technical performance. Finally, this study discussed the theoretical and practical implications of the research results.

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the moderating effect of technology development activities in the relationship between independent variables such as entrepreneurial orientation and technology innovation capabilities and dependent variables. As a result of analyzing the causal relationship between research variables, it was found that the higher the innovation and initiative among the sub-factors of entrepreneurial orientation, the more positive the technical commercialization performance and product completion. Among the sub-factors of entrepreneurial orientation, risk-taking was found to have a significant effect only on product completion. It was found that the higher the technology commercialization capability and technology convergence capability, the higher the technology commercialization performance, the technology commercialization performance. As a result of analyzing the moderating effect of technology development activities, it was found that technology development management ability, a sub-factor of technology development activities, controls the influence relationship between innovation and risk sensitivity and technology performance. In addition, it was found that the involvement in technology development planning controls the influence relationship between technology convergence capability and technology performance among sub-factors of technology innovation capability. Based on the above analysis results, this study made three suggestions as follows. First, the achievements of technology commercialization to achieve the superiority of corporate competition depend on progressive innovation and risk-taking based on entrepreneurial orientation. It is necessary to find a way to build entrepreneurial orientation from within the organization. Second, due to the nature of the ICT industry, which has a fast pace of technological development and changes in market acceptance, technology commercialization performance will be positive when the capabilities, technology, knowledge, and resources that can quickly lead to product production can be organically linked. Finally, corporate CEOs need to further promote innovation and risk-taking through phased and continuous research activities for technology development. In addition, it is necessary to establish a corporate culture that tolerates various strategies and failures so that understanding of technology convergence can lead to technological performance.

The fourth industrial revolution and creative economy are in the center of today's economic environments. In this context, venture companies make great efforts in achieving innovative capability for sustainable growth. Especially, in order to create the innovative capability or innovation performance, they are very much interested in obtaining such characteristics of organizational ambidexterity as exploration and exploitation. Thus, this study aims to study the organizational contextual ambidexterity as a key factor to create SMEs' performance and to conduct an empirical research with the data collected from domestic SMEs in order to find the antecedent and consequence of this ambidexterity. In so doing, we selected as an antecedent of contextual ambidexterity quality management practice, which is an innovative method of enterprise innovation and enterprise level, innovation performance (radical and incremental Innovation performance) as a consequence and ran a series of regression analyses. As a result, quality management practices such as quality circle activities have had positive effect on organizational ambidexterity, that is, exploration and exploration, and contextual ambidexterity has affected positively on innovation performance. It is also found that the contextual ambidexterity plays a full mediating role in the relationship between quality management practices and innovation performance. The results of this study suggest that contextual ambidexterity is essential to achieving organizational innovation performance and quality management activities such as quality circle should be preceded in order to stimulate or stimulate contextual ambidexterity.

The purpose of this research is to provide the indication on policy for the SME that are going through the Growing Pains by analyzing the cause of the Growing Pains and the effect that it causes to the company performance. By measured the extent of the growing pains in entrepreneurial companies, 8 of the 20 companies surveyed companies indicate that some very significant problems exist within the organization and the other 12 companies indicate some organizational problems require attention. As a result of correlation between company performance and Growing Pains that analyzed by using CAGR(Compound Annual Growth Rate), we have arrived at the conclusion that they are oppositely related. We have conducted the regression coefficient in order to analyze the factors that are affecting the Growing Pains and we have discovered that Leadership and work performance capability of CEO, Company's structure capability and Company's cultural strength have a meaningful relation out of 7 Factors that were used for regression coefficient. Only, CEO's work performance is analyzed to worsen the Growing Pains that, for enterprises at the certain growing stage it is needed to establish an administrative system instead of relying on CEO. Also CEO's strong leadership play which relate to administrative capacity, forming reasonable organizational structure, customer oriented mind and Company's culture that are developed with sense of responsibility reduce Growing Pains according to a research.

The purpose of this study was to verify whether the entrepreneurial capacity indicator utilized by the pre - founder can predict the start-up's performances in advance. The questionnaire for this study was measured at a single point in food, clothing, cosmetics, and coffee industries, which account for more than 50% of self-employment in korean economy. A total of 1,600 questionnaires were distributed and retrieved. And the final results were obtained through regression analysis. The empirical results show that the entrepreneurial capability index was related to the entrepreneurial performances. In particular, job satisfaction was found to be significant, but some significant results were found in the detailed indicators of financial aspect, and the significance was confirmed in terms of the necessity of further research among the entrepreneurial competency indicators composed of single indicators. From the policy point of view, it was suggested that entrepreneurial capability index can be a good tool to increase the entrepreneurial performance of the entrepreneur. In particular, it was confirmed that personal characteristics, entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial execution capacity, and external environment items were closely related to job satisfaction among measured competency indicators. Self-employed businesses, such as cosmetics and food, ware based on their own know-how and technology, and therefore, they were more likely to be influenced by their ability to run and business environment than others.

This study identifies related factors by analyzing the effects of the psychological characteristics and competency factors of traditional market merchants on business performance, and at the same time verifies the moderating effect of government support policies. The research focus was on verifying the causal relationship. This study was conducted targeting the representative traditional market merchants in the metropolitan area who have experience in traditional market specialization projects or are currently in the process of specialization projects. An empirical study was performed based on the collected data. The analysis results are as follows. First, it was found that self-esteem as a psychological characteristic factor of merchants, customer management competency as merchant competency, and informatization capability had a significant positive (+) effect on financial performance among business performance. Second, as a result of examining the moderating effect of government support policies, it was found that product capability had a significant positive (+) effect on financial performance among business performance. It was found that self-esteem and product competency had a significant positive (+) effect on the will to continue business among business performance. The practical results of this study are the research papers to measure the business performance of traditional market merchants using the government support policy as a moderating variable, using the psychological characteristics and competency factors of traditional market merchants as independent variables. For this purpose, it will be positively evaluated that the psychological characteristics of merchants and merchant competency factors affect business performance, and that meaningful research results are derived by analyzing the moderating effect of government support.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the net effect and the combined effect of the determinants of the likelihood of start-up success of researchers at public research institutes. Based on the existing literature, the determinants of the researcher's likelihood of start-up success were reviewed, and a conceptual relationship between the determinants of the likelihood of start-up success was established. Data collection was conducted through a survey targeting researchers at public research institutes, and a total of 114 data were collected. The partial least squares (PLS) analysis method was used to analyze the net effect of the likelihood of start-up success determinant, and the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) was used to analyze the combined effect of the likelihood of start-up success determinant. In the PLS analysis results, it was found that technology commercialization probability and creative self-efficacy had a significant positive effect independently on the likelihood of start-up success. In the fsQCA results, we found a combined effect of increasing the likelihood of start-up success when the technology commercialization probability, technology commercialization capability, and creative self-efficacy were high. These research results provide academic implications for understanding the determinants of the likelihood of start-up success of researchers in public research institutes.
