A Proposal for Establishing and Applying of the Joint Capability Management System (JCMS) (합동능력 관리체계 구축 및 활용 방안)

  • The DoD of United State, the MoD of United Kingdom and NATO have developed and implemented not only the concepts of joint capability but also management system for the joint capability to respond the future uncertain operations effectively. The resources of the DoD in United State have been efficiently planning, programming, budgeting, execution and evaluation using the PPBEE system which developed based on the concept of joint capability. The joint capability of the DoD has been managing through the JCAMS (Joint Capability Area Management System) which constructed based on JCA, UJTL and so on. Recently the MND of Korea eager to try introducing concept of the JCMS and developing the JCMS like the JCAMS of DoD for the future joint operation in the uncertain environment. We propose the holistic mechanism to develop the JCMS (Joint Capability Management System) of MND which can implement during the constructing the JCMS of Korea efficiently and effectively.

  • Hospitals today use independent systems for each department and job such as Hospital Information Sytem(HIS), Picture Archiving Communications System(PACS), Ordering Communication System(OCS), Electronic Medical Record(EMR), Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP), etc and each system employs its own DB. So, it is impossible to integrate information within the institution and difficult to keep transparency and consistency of data. I in this study offered a data integration environment through flexible management linked with other systems, and by doing that, designed a medical CRM frame which offers the optimum service the customer wants at the optimum time. I designed 4 of medical CRM frame: customer relationship management, public relations/marketing, service management, and statistics/analysis by the customer relationship management process standardization and aimed to offer tailored mobile contents according to customer's characters and health situation on the basis of customer's data by securing mobile medical contents for personalized medical information service.

  • Deepening of the global competitive environment due to changes in operating environment and business, domestic and abroad companies in automotive industry are trying to optimize their production and logistics, to enhance their supply chain competitiveness and to promote information strategic planning to maximize their IT-enabled capabilities. In particular, the automotive industry is showing the various efforts to build the demand-based production system for responding to the market changes and preparing the global production and sales system. Despite of their various effors, the IT deployment and utilization levels of parts suppliers in the field of production/logistics companies are shown as higher in comparison with other area supplies, but the levels are shown as a very low condition compared to the parts suppliers of other manufacturing sectors. In this sense, the subject of this study, 'A' company (SMEs), has the challenges for improving the IS utilization and the accuracy of the information system according to the inefficiency of manual and field validation. Consequently, to improve and enhance the utilization of information systems, A company is carrying out the project to improve the ERP and POP operations by in-house approach, but they have shown the limitation in introducing and applying the latest technology.

  • When establishing the submarine optical fiber table between international and domestic, marine survey in advance it grasps the submarine geological features which is accurate and a depth of water condition. And the route which is safe for selecting and submarine optical fiber cable laying it is a work which secures an ease one location. If also, the PLGR the submarine of optical fiber table root the sea contamination material (rope, wire and net) it removes in advance and if the submarine of the optical fiber cable ease it does to arrive safely. And it is a work the Plough and ROV laying work hour laying work efficiency improvement and laying equipment it will be able to protect. So, This paper presents the monitoring system of ship information management and operation for marine survey and PLGR work in submarine optical fiber table construction enterprise. In order to achieve these purpose, overall serial multi-port communication modulo of configuration, realtime processing for management and operation of receiving data, realtime graph and a printout are described.

  • Submarine optical fiber cable construction consists of marine survey, PLGR(Pre Lay Grapnel Run), shore-end-work, laying the submarine optical cable. This PLGR is work to ease the cable lay safely in seabed, improve the performance of Plough and ROV (Remotely-Operated Vehicle) laying work, and protect laying equipment. This paper presents the design and implementation of real-time monitoring system for PLGR work in submarine optical fiber cable construction enterprise. In this paper, we designe overall real-time monitoring system. For this purpose, the modules such as serial multiport communication module, real-time processing module, environment configuration module, real-time graph and a printout modules are designed and implemented. For the validity evaluation of this paper, serial multi port communication module, data parsing, realtime graph output are implemented and tested.

A Linked Analysis Method between Commercial district Information and Survey Information (상권정보와 설문정보의 연계 분석 방법)

  • In Korea, micro-enterprises are in charge of an important part of the common people's economy, but face difficulties such as excessive competition, deteriorating profitability, and concentration of life-oriented industries. In order to solve this problem, the government is providing commercial district analysis services for micro-enterprises. However, the data provided by various organizations is not standardized, and there is a limit to the composition of the service with limited data. In this paper, we propose a method of solving the data consistency problem and linking and analyzing between questionnaire information and commercial district information to expand the data analysis service. The proposed linking methods are three methods: linking the commercial area information and questionnaire information in the same area based on the type of business and area, linking the survey information centered on individual micro-enterprise, and linking a small area of questionnaire information with a large area of commercial district information. The linked commercial district information and questionnaire information can be used in various ways or expanded analysis services. This proposed a method to overcome the limitations of existing commercial district analysis services with questionnaire information and lay the foundation for expanding the commercial district analysis services necessary for micro-enterprises.

  • A prerequisite for improving the quality of a product is to enhance the quality of its parts supplied from outsourced enterprises. An enterprise certified by ISO 9001 Quality Management System is expected to develop their effective quality assurance system and maintain it through continuous control and improvement, thereby ensuring the good quality of products that they produce. However, it is reported that small and medium-sized enterprises certified by ISO 9001 have difficulty establishing an effective quality assurance system. This study aims to propose a new method of improving a quality assurance system that can be more effective in small and medium-sized enterprises. This study collectively considered requirements specified in several international standards on quality system and the results of expert group brainstorming to identify evaluation areas and items for assessing a quality assurance system. Based on these evaluation areas and items, a set of checklists for diagnosing and improving a quality assurance system was developed. In order to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed method, this study applied it to ten small and medium-sized enterprises and could identify four approaches for improving their current quality assurance system. The presented improvement method, which consists of establishment of quality goals and quality innovation plan, defective products corrective activities, 4M and design change process, improvement of customer quality information management, is expected to be utilized as a useful tool for the enhancement of the quality assurance system of small and medium-sized enterprises.

  • With rapid development of Internet technology, business management in an organization or an enterprise depends on Internet-based technology for the most part. Furthermore, as dependency and cohesiveness of network in the communication facilities are increasing, cyber attacks have been increased against vulnerable resource in the information system. Hence, to protect private information and computer resource, research for damage propagation is required in this situation. However the proposed traditional models present just mechanism for risk management, or are able to be applied to the specified threats such as virus or worm. Therefore, we propose the probabilistic model of damage propagation based on the Markov process, which can be applied to diverse threats in the information systems. Using the proposed model in this paper, we can predict the occurrence probability and occurrence frequency for each threats in the entire system.

  • The leaking of personal information is mostly occurred by internal users. The confidential information such as credit card number can be disclosed or modified by system manager easily. The secure storaging and managing scheme for sensitive data of individual and enterprise is required for distributed data management. The manager owning private data is needed to have a weight which is a right to disclose a private data. For deciding a weight, it is required that system is able to designate the level of user's right. In this paper, we propose the new algorithm named digit-independent algorithm. And we propose a new data management scheme of gathering and processing the data based on digit-independent algorithm. Our sharing and recovering scheme have the efficient computation operation for managing a large quantity of data using weight table. The proposed scheme is able to use for secure e-business data management and storage in ubiquitous computing environment.
