ERP, a typical enterprise application, helps companies to increase their productivity and to support their decision makings. ERP is composed of diverse functions that are optimized under PC environment, whereas the ERP applications on a mobile platform have many constraints such as a small screen, limited resolution, and computing power. Because all the functions of a ERP legacy system are not required for ERP on a mobile device, the core functions of the ERP system should be selected to increase system efficiency. In this study, two main methods were used; interviews and log analyses. The end users using a ERP system were interviewed for their perceptions, and log data analyses were made for the hitting number of specific ERP functions. The differences between the actual usage based on log data and users' cognitive preferences about ERP functions were analysed. Finally, the functional differences between users' perception and actual usage were suggested for some practical implications.

IT산업의 기술발달이 하드웨어, 소프트웨어, 네트워킹에서 콘텐츠기술로 패러다임이 변화함에 따라 중소벤처기업들의 기술개발전략 또한 변화하고 있다. IT중소기업은 2002년말 GDP의 3.8%를 기여하고 있다. 정보통신부가 지원하고 있는 정보통신 산업경쟁력강화사업 및 우수신기술지정지원사업의 경우 컴퓨터, 소프트웨어 및 컨텐츠 등 정보기술분야의 기술개발이 각각 60%, 54%를 차지하고 기술개발사업화는 기술개발기간으로부터 3년정도 추가 소요됨을 알 수 있었다. 1996년부터 시작된 우수신기술지정지원사업의 경우 41%, 1999년부터 시작된 산업경쟁력강화사업은 18%의 사업화율을 보이고 있다. 중소기업들의 단기상용 기술개발전략은 정보기술분야를 우선적으로 검토할 필요가 있으며 단기 기술개발일지라도 기술개발 후 3년 정도 추가 상용기술개발 기간이 소요되는 점을 감안하여 기술개발에 접근하여야 한다.

오늘날 대규모 집단이나 단체의 경우 사용자에게 정보를 전달하기 위해 인터넷을 이용한다. 그러나 이러한 인터넷 기반의 알림 시스템의 경우 새로운 정보를 확인하기 위해 사용자가 항상 인터넷을 확인해야 하고, 많은 정보를 제공하는 집단에서는 사용자가 원하는 정보 습득의 어려움을 야기한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해 실시간으로 사용자가 원하는 정보를 효과적으로 제공해주는 알림 시스템을 제안하고, 알림 서버가 수집된 정보를 원하는 사용자에게 제공하기까지의 전반적인 처리 과정을 기술한다.

신생 정보기술의 등장에 따른 새로운 보안 위협에 대처하기 위해 기업은 통합보안괸리(Enterprise Security Management)시스템을 도입하고 솔루션 간 상호연동을 통해 중복투자나 자원 낭비를 줄이고 보안 위협에 대처하고 있다. 이에 따라 통합보안관리시스템이 보안성을 충족시킴을 입증하기 위해 관련 표준을 근거로 한 보안성 평가 메트릭의 구축이 필요한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 통합보안괸리시스템에 대한 보안성을 평가할 수 있는 메트릭을 구축하기 위해 통합보안괸리시스템의 보안성 품질 관련 요구사항을 분석하고 총족 정도를 측정할 수 있는 메트릭을 구축하였다. 본 메트릭을 통해 ISO/IEC 15408과 ISO/IEC 25000 표준에 부합하는 보안성 평가의 일원화를 통한 시너지 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 이를 통해 통합보안관리시스템의 보안성 품질수준을 평가하는 모델을 구축하고, 향후 통합보안괸리시스템에 대한 평가방법의 표준화를 기할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

This paper reports on a contingency framework for selecting the most appropriate strategy to implement the enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) system in an organization. The two dimensions of our framework are information technology level and culture level of organization. For each of the four contingencies, we recommend a desirable implementation strategy, based on scope and pace of the implementation effort. ERP implementation data from ten organizations were analyzed to validate the proposed framework.

In this paper, we propose a workflow framework for the integrated logistics systems. We modelled the logistics activities into workflows, which allow clear specification and flexible modification of business processes. To specify workflows, we used petri-net that is extended to handle with information flows. A framework to implement the integrated logistics system using workflow management technology is proposed. Since logistics is closely related with other parts of enterprise such as manufacturing and accounting, the framework could capture a rich features required for enterprise-wide systems.

This thesis is to study the change in the information gathering system and the management of the technical cooperation. It is on urgent business for an enterprise or a preson to get proper information in modern information flood. To come up with the developed countinues it need to estimate the current world economice condition and to investigate the world economice circumstances. By this investigation we can establish a strategy to get necessary information. Information management will be needed to deal with the flooding new infermations.

Information should be properly shared and clearly recognized by not only the individuals within an enterprise but also the partners and the customers. Physical and logical collaboration between the application systems, therefore, became important, and building such collaborative function in an information system has been one of the major issues of the solution providers. In this paper we first interpret the term collaboration from the information system perspective. Then we discuss the collaboration system in two aspects; system integration and user interface.

The authors of the study highlight the conceptual foundations of the investment mechanism of innovation of enterprises in the context of strategic development. Such indicators of investment attraction for the enterprise as investment attractiveness, investment activity of the enterprise, critical mass of investments, minimum sufficiency of investments and others are singled out. It is proved that the balance of investment resources is facilitated by the action of the investment mechanism of innovation activity at the enterprise in the context of achievements of strategic development tasks. Investment processes and their intensification have an impact on the expansion of production capacity of economic entities in strategic development and on improving the efficiency of existing capacities. The investment mechanism of innovative activity at the enterprise in the context of achievement of tasks of strategic development contains system of complex actions which provides: definition of the clear purpose and tasks for the mechanism and achievement of the purposes of the enterprise; assessment of the investment potential of the enterprise; definition of tasks of innovative development of enterprises and investment resources necessary for this purpose, etc. The tasks of the investment mechanism of innovative activity at the enterprise in the context of achievements of tasks of strategic development and its economic, organizational and information components are singled out, as well as levers of influence and regulators of the investment mechanism of innovation in the enterprise.

The current challenge with which most shipyards are faced is to reduce the design time and the time-to-delivery benefits of new information technologies such as ERP, APS, and SCM system. These technologies should integrate the information that flows in the enterprise wide activities. First of all we should maintain control of ship design and product data such as bill of material, product structure, drawing, 30 modeling and manufacturing information for the integration. The product data management (POM) system copes with these requirements. All the product data is stored in POM database and vaults in a structured manner and all the changes of product data are monitored, controlled and recorded. This study discusses how POM system can be implemented in shipyard. The procedure is surveyed to apply a POM system for the ship design data management. This study also presents several examples in order to make a practical guidance for ship POM implementation. Proposed studies can be useful for shipyards planning to adopt POM systems in enterprise wide manner.
