철근콘크리트 전단벽의 구조성능개선을 위한 보강방안에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Retrofit Method to Improve the Structural Capacity of Reinforced Concrete Shear Wall)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 RC 전단벽의 구조성능 개선을 위한 보강방법을 연구하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 형상비가 2.2인 4개의 RC 전단벽 실험체를 제작하고 모르터로 단면을 증설하거나 강판 등으로 보강하는 방법으로 실험체의 휨성능을 향상시켰다. 보강이 완료된 실험체에 대하여 일정축력을 작용시킨 후 반복횡하중을 가력하여 구조성능을 평가하였다. 이때 작용시킨 횡력은 ACI에서 제시한 이력에 준하였다. 실험결과, 추가의 철근을 배치하고 단면을 증설한 경우에는 내력과 변형능력을 모두 증대시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났으며 특히, 단면증설과 함께 단부에 U형태로 용접철망으로 횡구속한 실험체의 경우에는 강도와 연성의 측면에서 가장 효율적인 보강으로 확인되었다. 강판으로 보강하는 방법은 항복이후 부재의 급격한 내력저하를 방지하고 부재의 변형능력을 상승시키는데 매우 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

  • Pantograph of the electric train is the important part receiving current by adhereing contact wire. Wearing rate of pantograph or contact wire is changed by the type of pantograph and material of adhering part. In special, the weather influences the relative wearing rate and wearing type of pantograph Slider and Contact wire with steep wearing in arc and life cycle of pantograph slider. Presently, the weather causes side-wearing and over-wearing of pantograph slide installed in electric train. So it is difficult to manage and operate the electric train. Although the quality of slide using in line4 vehicle was finished the test in line 2 vehicle experimentally, it has to apply after pantograph is installed in some electric trains and check the influence in it and contact wire. It is because line4 section is very different from line2 section. Experimental application is the sequence to certify the safety and abrasion resistance importantly by enlarging experimental application with increase of the experimental electric train. The lenth of line4 in Seoul Metro is 71.5[km]. It is long section. The line is mixed DC 1,500[V] section and AC 25,000[V] section. It has underground section of 41.5[km] and ground section of 30[km]. Ground section is about 42% and receives much influence in the rain during the rainy season. After experimental application we found that this pantograph slide has twice as much abrasion resistance despite a little deviation and found the occurrence probability of arc and side-wearing is decreased considerably.

Alternaria yunnanensis sp. nov., a New Alternaria Species Causing Foliage Spot of Rubber Tree in China

  • A new species of Alternaria causing leaf spots on the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis) in Yunnan, China, was isolated, examined, and illustrated. Morphologically, it belongs to the section Porri of Alternaria, which produces relatively large conidia and a simple or branched, filamentous long beak. It is, however, characterized by conidiophores gradually enlarging near the apex into a clavate conidiogenous cell and long ellipsoid to obclavate, smoothwalled conidia with a long filamentous beak. Molecular phylogenetic analyses based on ITS rDNA, GAPDH, and TEF1-alpha sequences demonstrate that the phytopathogen falls in the clade of the section Porri, being most closely related to A. sidae, A. sennae, A. deseriticola, A. cyamopsidis, A. rostellata, A. nitrimali, A. crassa, and A. thunbergiae.

  • Cogging is generally the initial and primary step in the manufacture of practically all large open-die forgings, and consists of forging and ingot by reducing the cross-section and simultaneously enlarging the body. A three-dimensional thermo-viscoplastic finite element model is used to study the distribution of internal stresses and strains of workpiece and temperature of workpiece and die during cogging process. Simulations are carried out on an circular ingot, using v-die and flat die, to study the effects of die configuration, die width, penetration depth, temperature gradient, die overlapping and pass design.

Effect of Ferro-cement retrofit in the stiffened infill RC frame

  • This paper presents an experimental investigation on the contribution of RCC strip in the in-filled RC frames. In this research, two frames were tested to study the behavior of retrofitted RC frame under cyclic loading. In the two frame, one was three bay four storey R.C frame with central bay brick infill with RCC strip in-between brick layers and the other was retrofitted frame with same stiffened brick work. Effective rehabilitation is required some times to strengthened the RC frames. Ferrocement concrete strengthening was used to retrofit the frame after the frame was partially collapsed. The main effects of the frames were investigated in terms of displacement, stiffness, ductility and energy dissipation capacity. Diagonal cracks in the infill bays were entirely eliminated by introducing two monolithic RCC strips. Thus more stability of the frame was obtained by providing RCC strips in the infill bays. Load carrying capacity of the frame was increased by enlarging the section in the retrofitted area.

신설 광역철도 운전속도 향상방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Train Operation Speed for the New Metropolitan Railway)

  • A wide metropolitan railway and a metropolitan railway in metropolitan area are transportation systems to cope with possible large demand and are under construction continually. A wide metropolitan railway and a metropolitan railway in metropolitan area are running with low speed because it is difficult to improve train speed according to short distances between stations and topography. There is a few study on improving commercial speed on the existing wide metropolitan railway and metropolitan railway in metropolitan area, but there is no study on a new wide metropolitan railway. This study present speed-up scheme of the Sosa-Wonsi line by enlarging the curve radius, reducing the horizontal steep gradient, reducing the stopping time, speeding up at underground section, and installing the PSD, etc. This scheme is evaluated using the simulation technique.

서부태평양에서 다랑어 선망어업의 어획분포와 어장환경 (Distribution of Catches and Condition of Fishing Ground for Tuna Purse Seine in the Western Pacific Ocean)

  • Temperal and spacial analysis for catches have been drawing up a catch distribution chart and analysing catches and CPUE(Catch Per Unit Effort) using catch data with purpose of obtaining basic data to establish a selective method of effective fishing the tuna purse seine fishing ground.The temperature profile section and catch was surveyed to analyse the effect of catch in relation to the fishing ground environment.The results are as follows ;1. As for the catch variation between 1983 and 1984, the catch mainly took place on150^{\circ}E$, and after that it moved eastward enlarging the range of catch. In the monthly catch variation between January and February, the catches mainly happened on 135$^{\circ}$~ 150$^{\circ}$E, and then moved to the gradually westward. However, from July it moved to the South and from October Southeast.2. As to the eatch ratio for the school associated with the drifted object, the pelagic migrating school and the school associated with the biological objects, the catch ratio for the school associated with the drift objects was the highest. The catch ratio for the school associated with the drifted object was high in June, July and November whiles between January and March for the pelagic migrating school.3. SST(Sea Surface Temperature) was around 28~29^C$ on the observing line of 137^{\circ}E$ and the catches took place in the north equatorial counter-current situated on around $5^{\circ}~6^{\circ}N$. SST in the northern summer was 1^C$higher than winter and it was about 29~30^C$. The catch happened with the center of north equatorial counter-current. The reason why the catch mainly took place on the north equatorial counter-current is that main catch of tuna purse seine was the school associated with drift objects. It is thought that the fishing grounds are made in waters that have many drift objects like drift logs from the coast.

이하선 다형성 선종의 괴사 (NECROSIS OF A PAROTID GLAND PLEOMORPHIC ADENOMA : A CASE REPORT)

  • 본 증례는 우측 이하선에 종물을 가진 50세 여자 환자에서 술전에 시행한 세침흡인검사와 전산화단층촬영 소견 및 술중에 시행한 동결생검에서 괴사소견으로 인해 점액표피양암종으로 진단되어 우측 이하선 전적출술과 경부청소술 등을 시행하였으나 수술 후 조직병리학적 검사에서 괴사를 동반한 다형성 선종으로 최종 진단되었다. 괴사를 동반한 다형성 선종에서 보이는 편평 상피세포는 점액표피양암종에서 나타나는 편평세포의 특징으로 오진할 수 있으므로 주의해야 한다. 본 증례는 악성종양으로 잘못 진단할 수 있는 다형성 선종의 괴사와 조직병리학적 특징들을 이해함으로써 임상의사들의 오진 가능성을 예방하고 다형성 선종의 진단과 치료에 주의해야 함을 시사한다.

전력구트라프간접수냉방식에서의 지중송전케이블에 대한 열해석 (A Thermal Analysis for the Underground Power Transmission Cable by a Water Pipe Cooling Method with Trough in Tunnel)

  • 원활한 전력공급을 위해 지중송전케이블에서 발생된 열을 제거하기 위한 방법으로 전력구트라프간접수냉방식이 적용된 지중송전계통에 대한 각 주요 구성요소의 열해석을 수행하였다. 열해석을 수행한 결과, 주어진 조건에서 냉동기가 채택된 냉동장치에서는 냉각수유량은 $2{\sim}3{\ell}/s/pipe$, 팬에 의한 풍속은 $1{\sim}2m/s/fan$인 경우에 지중송전계통의 원활한 전력공급을 위한 냉각계통의 최적조건으로 계산되었다. 반면에 냉각탑만을 설치한 경우에는 냉각수유량 및 풍속이 각각 $2{\sim}3s/pipe$ 및 6 m/s/fan이 최적조건으로 계산되었다. 그러나 냉각탑만이 설치된 경우에는 풍속이 너무 커져서 용량이 큰 팬의 설치 및 전력구내에서 작업자의 작업조건에 적합하지 않다. 따라서 본 연구의 주어진 조건하에서 지중송전계통의 냉동계통은 냉동기가 설치된 냉동장치가 바람직하다.

우리나라 단동 비닐하우스와 북미지역 하이터널의 비교 (Comparison of single-span plastic greenhouse in Korea and high tunnel in North America)

  • Structural characteristics for standard models of single-span plastic greenhouse in Korea and high tunnels in North America were analyzed, and comparative analysis for greenhouse environments measuring in Korean farmhouse and Rutgers high tunnel was carried out to find structural and environmental improvements of single-span plastic greenhouses that occupy most of Korean greenhouse. Widths of high tunnels are similar to single-span plastic greenhouses but their heights are high comparatively and their side heights are fairly higher than single-span plastic greenhouses specially. Rafters, which are main frames, section sizes of high tunnels are bigger and their intervals are wider than single-span plastic greenhouses. Relative bending resistances compared with representative Korean greenhouse were analyzed by 0.92 to 1.42 in single-span plastic greenhouses, and 1.38 to 2.96 in high tunnels. Frame ratios of single-span plastic greenhouses were 6.8 to 8.6%, and those of high tunnels were 5.5 to 8.7%. We analyzed air temperatures and solar radiations measured in single-span plastic greenhouse and high tunnel on clear days in late March. There were outside temperatures in generally similar range, and judging by rise of indoor temperatures, ventilation performance of high tunnel is more excellent than single-span plastic greenhouse. Solar radiations of two areas were no big difference but light transmittance of high tunnel was a little bit higher than single-span plastic greenhouse. Single-span plastic greenhouses are disadvantageous in environmental managements such as ventilation performance and light transmittance because distance between greenhouses is too narrow and length of greenhouse is too long compared to high tunnels. To get the environmental improvement effects as well as to increase the structural resistance of single-span plastic greenhouses are achievable by widening the width of greenhouse in possible range, widening the space between rafters, and enlarging the section size of rafters. Also, we need to secure enough distance between greenhouses and to restrict the length of greenhouse by maximum 50 m in order to improve the ventilation performance and the light transmittance.
