수동변속기 동기장치의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Synchromesh in Manual Transmission)

  • The shift feeling, a driver experiences during gear shifting, is a major factor in manual transmission quality. Recently, the shift feeling has becoming more severe every year in proportion to the higher torque and revolution speed of today's automotive engine. In this paper, first, the diagram of a relation between cone angle, sleeve chamfer angle, and friction coefficient of ring is investigated for easy design of Synchromesh system. And then, methodology to solve the shift problems such as clashing noise and rough shift, ect. by analyzing the synchronization procedure in sequence and by investigating the shift waveform if presented.

수동변속기 차량의 발진 스텀블 해석 (Analysis of Stumble of Manual Transmission Vehicle during Standing Start)

  • The stumble (abrupt and big acceleration decrease) occurring in manual transmission vehicle while standing start is analyzed by simulation model. This model was verified by comparing to test results. Mechanism of the stumble is clarified by analyzing simulation results and the key mechanism of the stumble is angular vibration of powertrain including wheel and tires. As a result, several method that can reduce the stumble is proposed by carrying out parametric study, increasing low end torque of engine, increase gear ratio etc.

  • 본 논문에서는, 벨트 연결형 기동발전기(Integrated Starter Generators)를 이용하여 승용 자동차에서 엔진 기동 시 발생하는 토크 맥동을 억제하는 방법을 제안하였다. 기동발전기의 빠른 토크 응답성을 통하여 내연기관의 기동 시 발생하는 저 주파수의 진동을 억제하여 승용차의 승차감을 개선하고자 한다. 특히 벨트를 통하여 구동되는(또는 구동하는) 벨트 연결형 기동발전기에 있어 벨트의 특성 분석과 모델링을 통하여 효과적인 맥동토크 억제 법을 제시하였다.

  • In this paper HEV's are newly classified and a new breed of HEV's, which is called series-parallel compensated configuration is also presented. In this configuration the engine can be operated on constant-speed and constant-torque mode, while the power converter can be small-sized.

  • This paper presents characteristics of combustion and exhaust gas properties according to variation of the combustion chamber for economy and emissions standards. In order to use combustion and exhaust gas properties data, it is necessary to build some data base, which use cylinder pressure sensor and emission tester. A feasibility and necessity of combustion pressure based cylinder spark timing control has been examined. So, this was obtained the coefficient of variation(COV) and the specific fuel consumption(sfc). Using the results of the test, the effects of the variable combustion chamber can be improved combustion stability and be reduced exhaust emission.

적절한 헬기 트랜스미션 내구도 시험절차 연구 (A Study on Proper Procedure for Helicopter Transmission Endurance Test)

  • Transmission is a core component of helicopter to transmit power from engine to rotor and must have a endurance to be able to show satisfactorily its performance required during its life time. When developing a new helicopter, both military and civil airworthiness authorities require a tie-down test to verify its endurance. Procedure for transmission endurance test is described in FAR part 29 or US military specification but its details are more or less ambiguous. In this paper, we have proposed a proper procedure for transmission endurance test by giving KUH transmission endurance test example including determination of applicable torque, load and test profile.

  • This paper deals with development of high torque and high accurate stepping motor and control system which is adopted heavy equipment engine speed control. In the process of development, only pure domestic technics is involved, all the parts are supplied in domestic industries, and successfully accomplished to mass production. In order to confirm product liability, circumferential test,such as vibration test impact test,thermal test,and field test are thoroughly fulfilled.

대형트럭 구동계의 저진동 설계 시스템의 개발연구 (A study on an analysis of torsional vibration of a driveline of heavy duty truck)

  • This paper developes a torsional vibration model of heavy duty truck drive line for simulation of a driving rattle, which causes very annoying noise to driver at the full load driving condition. Test results show a peak in the fit plots at the frequency of the 2nd harmonics of propeller shaft revolution. A 10 d.o.f. lumped parameter nonlinear torsional vibration model is constructed and engine torque variation is calculated from P- .theta. diagram. Time responses are simulated and compared with the test results, which show fairly good agreement. The effects of paramenter change are investigated, and the optimum configuration is proposed.

  • A computer aided analysis and design system is developed for analyzing the driveline torsional vibration of a vehicle. Torsional vibration characteristics of driveline component are investigated and 10 types of module are developed. They can be connected together to represent any driveline configuration. During assembly process simulation program is generated. It is implemented using C++language. A driveline tor- sional vibration system at full load driving condition and idle rattle system are modeled and simulated with this system. Their responses for engine torque excitation are evaluated on time and frequency domain, and the results are compared with test results favorably. This system makes it simpler and easier for design and analysis engineer to model and analyse the driveline system.

  • 셰일가스의 채굴량 확장과 러시아를 통한 PNG (Pipeline Natural Gas)의 도입은 천연가스가 유력한 대체 연료임을 시사해주고 있다. 따라서 향후 증대될 천연가스의 공급에 맞추어 해당 연료의 수요처 증대가 필수적인 상황이다. 이와 같은 상황에서 수송분야는 저탄소 기체 연료인 천연가스를 적용하기 적합한 분야이며, 이를 통해 이산화탄소와 입자상 물질 등의 유해 배기물질을 저감하는 데 큰 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 천연가스는 자발화 특성이 낮고, 내노킹(Anti-knocking)성이 우수하기 때문에 전기점화 방식에 적합하다. 최근 가솔린 엔진은 연비 개선을 위해 연소실에 직접 분사하는 방식을 주로 채택하고 있으나,연소실 내로 액상 직분사를 하는 반면 천연가스의 경우 액상분사 혹은 고압 분사가 어렵다. 따라서 포트에 분사하는 방식을 사용하므로 동등 흡기압력에서 연료의 분율이 흡입공기의 체적을 대체하여 가솔린 직분 방식에 비해 출력이 저하되는 현상을 피할 수 없게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 터보차저를 천연가스 포트 분사 엔진에 적용하여 흡기 압력 상향을 통한 출력 보상을 도모하고자 하였다.그 결과 천연가스 적용 시 흡기압력을 기존 가솔린 대비 5-27 % 상향 시 가솔린 직분사 엔진과 동등 출력을 확보함과 동시에 향상된 제동 열효율을 확인 할 수 있었다.
