공동주택의 건물외부조건과 에너지비용과의 관계분석 (Relation between the Building Exterior Conditions and Energy Costs in the Running period of the Apartment Housing)

  • The energy cost is resulted from the energy use. Its sources are divided into some types and depended on the building use or energy-use type. The energy cost should be affected by the amount of the energy use. The cost could be calculated to consider various factors such as the insulation, heating type, building shape and others. But it can not consider all of the affect factors to the energy cost and need to categorize the factors to the condition for estimating the cost. In this paper, it aimed at providing the estimation model in linear equation and multiple linear regression, utilizing the building exterior condition and management characteristics in apartment housing. Its survey are conducted in two parts of management characteristics and building exterior condition. The correlation analysis is conducted to get rid of the multicolinearity among the inputted factors. The number of linear equation model is 11 and includes the 1st, 2nd and 3rd equation function, power function and others. Among these, it suggested the 2nd and 3rd function and power function in terms of the statistics. In multiple linear regression model, the building volume and management area are inputted to the estimation.

Automatic Left Ventricle Segmentation using Split Energy Function including Orientation Term from CTA

  • In this paper, we propose an automatic left ventricle segmentation method in computed tomography angiography (CTA) using separating energy function. First, we smooth the images by applying anisotropic diffusion filter to remove noise. Secondly, the volume of interest (VOI) is detected by using k-means clustering. Thirdly, we divide the left and right heart with split energy function. Finally, we extract only left ventricle from left and right heart with optimizing cost function including orientation term.

  • In indoor temperature control of a heat pump, a reduction in energy consumption is very important. However, most control schemes for heat pumps have focused only on control performance such s settling time and steady-state error. In this paper, the model predictive control (MPC) which includes the energy-related variable in this cost function is proposed. By computing the control signal minimizing this cost function, the trade-off between energy reduction and temperature control performance can be obtained. Since the MPC required the process model, the dynamic mode of a heat pump is also obtained by the system identification technique. Performance of the proposed MPC considering energy efficiency is compared with the two other control schemes. It si shown that the proposed scheme can consume less energy thant hte others in achieving similar control performance.

정규성 개선에 중점을 둔 제조업 에너지 수요구조 모형 연구 : 오목성 조건을 만족하는 Translog 비용함수 모형 (Modeling Korean Energy Consumption Behavior Using a Concavity Imposed Translog Cost Function)

  • 본 연구에서는 1970년~2005년 기간 동안 한국 제조업의 Translog 비용함수를 분석함에 있어, 비제약 모형과 사전적으로 오목성을 부과한 제약 모형을 추정하여 그 결과를 비교하였다. 제약 모형은 비제약 모형에 비해 다소 낮은 로그우도값에 불구하고, 전 자료 구간에 대하여 정규성을 만족하여 비용함수와 생산기술 간의 쌍대성을 만족하는 추정 결과가 도출되었다. 제약 모형의 가격탄력성 분석 결과, 전력과 자본 사이에는 보완성이 존재하여 자본 수요가 증가함에 따라 전력 수요가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 전력 수요는 노동, 연료 및 재료 수요를 모두 대체하는 방향성이 관측되어 한국 제조업이 전력 사용이 증가하는 방향으로의 구조변화를 경험하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

계산 에너지 함수 분석을 통한 궤환성을 갖는 단층신경회로망의 성능개선 (Performance improvement of single-layer neural network with feedback by analyzing the computational energy function)

  • A new method to neglect the third term of the computational energy expression in the single-layer neural network with feedback is introduced. The system often converges to local minima instead of to global minima, because the computational energy is not matched exactly with the cost function being optimized. One of the factors causing these tow functions different is the third term of computational enegy expression. Regarding this third term energy very small, it is always ignored in designing the system. However, a sthe system growing, this third term energy is also growing and this grown term makes the computational energy function much different from the cost function. In results of differency between two functions, system converges to local minima more than before. In this paper, a new method to neglect te third term energy is introduced, so that the system with tis new method has been imroved.

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 발전산업에 대한 비용함수를 추정하고 계수에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 신재생에너지 투입 확대가 화석에너지 수요와 전력공급가격에 미치는 파급효과를 분석한다. 신재생에너지는 풍력, 태양광, 바이오, 연료전지, 수력 등 여러 에너지원을 통합한 개념으로서 산정방식의 일반화 문제와 자료의 제약 등의 이유로 각 에너지원의 상용 단가를 하나의 투입 가격으로 객관적으로 산정하는 것은 용이하지 않다. 이러한 현실적 한계를 고려하여 적정 수준의 신재생에너지 투입을 전제로 제약비용함수(restricted cost function)를 도출한 다음, 공급관계식(supply relation)을 결합하여 추정을 위한 방정식체계를 구성한다. 특히 신재생에너지의 암묵가격(shadow price)을 산출함으로써 신재생에너지 투입 확대로 인한 기업의 잠재적 비용부담의 변화추이를 분석한다.

동적계획법을 이용한 고온수배관의 최적보온설계에 관한 연구 (A study on the optimal design for heat insulation of hot water piping systems using a dynamic programming)

  • Recently, the design problem of heat insulation have been reappraised in the aspect of energy saving due to the rising trend of energy cost. For example, that design problem is increasingly requsted in the fields of accommodation air conditioning systems, hot water supply systems, cargo handling systems, district heating or cooling systems. The rational design of heat insulation of piping systems can not only improve the overall efficiency of energy transfer but also give energy saving. In this paper, the heat insulation problem of district heating systems is therefore modeled as the multi-stage decision processes, suitable for dynamic programming technique. And take the object function as the sum of heat insulation material cost involved construction cost and heat loss cost, and propose the design method to minimize the object function for overall piping systems by dynamic programing. Effectiveness of design method presented here is proved by a computer simulation.

  • The increased diversity of different types of energy sources requires moving towards smart distribution networks. This paper proposes a probabilistic DG (distributed generation) units planning model to determine technology type, capacity and location of DG units while simultaneously allocating ESS (energy storage systems) based on pre-determined capacities. This problem is studied in a wind integrated power system considering loads, prices and wind power generation uncertainties. A suitable method for DG unit planning will reduce costs and improve reliability concerns. Objective function is a cost function that minimizes DG investment and operational cost, purchased energy costs from upstream networks, the defined cost to reliability index, energy losses and the investment and degradation costs of ESS. Electrical load is a time variable and the model simulates a typical radial network successfully. The proposed model was solved using the DICOPT solver under GAMS optimization software.

  • Multicast Mesh based Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs) provide efficient data transmission in energy restraint areas without a fixed infrastructure. In this paper, the authors present an improved version of protocol SLIMMER developed by them earlier, and name it SLIMMER-SN. Most mesh-based protocols suffer from redundancy; however, the proposed protocol controls redundancy through the concept of forwarding nodes. The proposed protocol uses remaining energy of a node to decide its energy efficiency. For measuring stability, a new metric called Stability of Node (SN) has been introduced which depends on transmission range, node density and node velocity. For data transfer, a weighted cost function selects the most energy efficient nodes / most stable nodes or a weighted combination of both. This makes the node selection criteria more dynamic. The protocol works in two steps: (1) calculating SN and (2) using SN value in the weighted cost function for selection of nodes. The study compared the proposed protocol, with other mesh-based protocols PUMA and SLIMMER, based on packet delivery ratio (PDR), throughput, end-to-end delay and average energy consumption under different simulation conditions. Results clearly demonstrate that SLIMMER-SN outperformed both PUMA and SLIMMER.

한국전력시장에서 복합발전기의 운전조합별 비용함수의 계통한계가격(SMP) 결정메커니즘 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of the System Marginal Price Setting Mechanism of the Cost Function in Operating Modes of the Combined Cycle Power Plants in Korea Electricity Market)

  • 우리나라 전력시장에서 한계비용 기반의 가격결정메커니즘에 관한 논의가 이루어질 때 마다 한계발전기의 수익 감소는 가장 큰 장애물로 인식되었다. 하지만 수익감소는 한계비용 기반의 가격결정메커니즘의 한계점이 아니라 시장개설 초기 CBP체제의 단기 운영 계획, 발전계획프로그램의 기능 부재, 성능시험의 구조적 결함이 결합된 문제이다. 다조합 복합발전기에 운전조합별 비용함수를 적용할 경우 고출력구간에서 한계비용이 평균비용을 초과할 수 있으며, 이것은 비용함수를 산정하는 방식에 따라 가격결정메커니즘 제도개선을 가로막았던 구조적인 장애물을 극복할 수 있는 기회를 제공할 수 있다. 실시간 시장, 계통운영보조서비스 시장 등 재생에너지 확대를 수용하기 위한 전력시장 개선 및 DR, ESS 등 새로운 자원들의 시장참여 확대 등 향후 전력시장의 복잡성은 더욱 증가할 것으로 전망된다. 전력시장이 복잡해질수록 합리적인 가격신호를 제공하는 것이 바로 전력시장의 가장 중요한 역할이며 한계비용 기반의 가격결정메커니즘이 바로 전력시장 선진화의 출발점이 될 것이다.
