k-means clustering DB를 통한 Multi-cell headrest의 상해지수 간 상관관계 분석 (Correlation Analysis between Injury Index of Multi-cell Headrest through k-means Clustering DB)

  • 운송 수단의 발전은 인간의 교통 편의 증진과 더불어 이동이 불편한 장애인들의 이동 반경 확대를 가능하게 하였다. 그러나 휠체어 탑재 차량의 경우 차량 사고 시 발생할 수 있는 안전성은 일반 승객 좌석에 비해 여전히 낮다. 특히 무방비 상태에서 발생할 수 있는 후방 추돌 사고의 경우 장애인 탑승객의 목 부상에 치명적으로 작용할 수 있다. 따라서 휠체어 탑재 차량에 적용될 headrest에는 보다 세밀한 설계안이 반영되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 휠체어 운송 차량의 저속 후방 추돌 시 headrest의 국부적 압축 특성 분포 구현을 위해 multi-cell headrest가 제안되었다. 이후 해석을 통한 데이터셋 구축과 k-means clustering을 적용한 군집화 결과를 이용해 탑승객의 목 상해지수와 충격 에너지 흡수량 간 상관관계 분석이 수행되었다. 군집화 결과 유사한 특성을 지닌 데이터 군집이 형성된 것을 확인하였으며, 각 군집의 특성을 통한 목 상해지수와 충격 에너지 흡수량 간의 상관관계 분석이 수행되었다. 분석 결과 Mid3와 Mid6에서의 cell 압축 특성이 soft할수록 충격 에너지 흡수량이 증가하는 것을 확인하였으며, Front2, Mid3, Mid6에서의 cell 압축 특성이 hard할수록 목 상해지수 감소에 효과적임을 확인하였다.

Study on Indium-free and Indium-reduced thin film Solar absorber materials for photovoltaic application

  • In this paper, we report the research highlight on the preparation and characterization of Indium-free $Cu_2ZnSnSe_4$ and Indium-reduced $CulnZnSe_2$ thin films in order to seek the viability of these absorber materials to be applied in thin film solar cells. The films of $Cu_2ZnSnSe_4\;and\;CulnZnSe_2$ were prepared using mixed binary chalcogenides powders. It was observed that Cu concentration was a function of substrate temperature as well as CuSe mole ratio in the target. Under an optimized condition, $Cu_2ZnSnSe_4\;and\;CulnZnSe_2$ thin films grew with strong [112]. [220/204] and [312/116] reflections. Both $Cu_2ZnSnSe_4\;and\;CulnZnSe_2$ films were found to exhibit a high absorption coefficient of $104^4cm^{-1}\;Cu_2ZnSnSe_4$ film showed a band gap of 1.5eV which closes to the optimum band gap of an ideal solar absorber for a solar cell. On the other side, an increase of optical band gap from 1.0 to 1.25eV was found to be proportional with an increase of Zn concentration in the $CulnZnSe_2$ film. All films in this study revealed a p-type semiconductor characteristic.

수소첨가 촉매 반응에 의한 니트로 화합물에서 방향족 1차 아민을 제조하는 편리한 방법 (A Convenient Method for the Catalytic Hydrogenation of Aromatic Nitro Compounds to Aromatic Primary Amines)

  • 방향족 니트로 화합물들을 10 % Palladium 촉매 존재 하에서 벤젠 용액에서 45 psi의 압력을 가지고 실온에서 수소첨가 반응시켜서 방향족 아민들을 얻었다. 본 연구에서는 방향족 니트로 화합물로써 nitrobenzene-$d_5$, $^{15}N$-nitrobenzene, 그리고 4'-nitrobenzo-15-crown-5를 이용하여 수소첨가 반응을 통하여 방향족 아민들을 합성하였다. 적외선 흡수 스펙트럼에서 수소첨가 반응으로부터 얻어진 아민에서 특성적인 N-H 신축 진동이 3450과 $3350cm^{-1}$에서 나타났다. 연구결과 수소첨가 촉매 반응에 의하여 방향족 아민 화합물을 제조할 때는 수득률이 양호하고 부 생성물의 생성이 크지 않아 다른 방법으로는 쉽게 제조할 수 없는 방향족 아민 화합물을 상업적으로 제조할 수 있음을 보여주고 있다.

곡률이 다른 직교이방성 CFRP 적층쉘의 관통파괴특성 (Penetration Fracture Characteristics of Orthotropic CFRP Laminates Shells according to Curvature)

  • CFRP composite laminates are widely used as structural materials for airplanes, automobile and aerospace vehicles because of their high strength and stiffness. This study aims to examine an effect of curvature on the penetration fracture characteristic of an orthotropic composite laminated shell. For the purpose, we manufactured orthotropic CFRP shell specimen with different curvatures, and conducted a penetration test using an air-gun. Those specimens were prepared to varied curvature radius(${\infty}$, 200mm, 150mm and 100mm)and were stacked to $[O^{\circ}{_3}/90^{\circ}{_3}]_s$. When the specimen is subjected to transverse impact by a steel sphere(${\Phi}10$), the velocity of steel sphere was measured both before and after impact by determining the time for it to pass two ball-screen sensors located a known distance apart. As the curvature increases, the absorption energy and the critical penetration energy increased linearly because the resistance to the bending moment. Patterns of cracks caused by the penetration of CFRP laminated shells included fiber breakage, lamina fracture, matrix crack interlaminar crack and intralaminar crack.

최적 충격특성에 갖는 차체구조용 점용접 박육단면부재의 개발 -충격속도변화에 따른 압궤특성을 중심으로- (Development of Vehicle Members with Spot Welded Thin-wall Section for Optimum Impart Characteristic -Based on Collapse Characteristics on the Varied Impact Velocities-)

  • This paper concerns the crashworthiness of the widely used vehicle structure, the spot welded hat and double hat shaped section members, which are excellent on the point of the energy absorbing capacity and low production cost. The target of this paper is to analyze the energy absorption capacity of the structure against the front-end collision, and to obtain useful information for designing stage. Changing the spot weld pitches on the flanges, the hat and double hat shaped section members were tested on the axial collapse loads in impact velocities of 4.72m/sec, 6.54m/sec, 7.19m/sec and 7.27m/sec. To efficiently review the collapse characteristics of these sections, the simulation have been carried out using explicit FEM package, LS-DYNA3D. The solutions are compared with results from the impact collapse experiments.

적층각도변화에 따른 CFRP & 혼성 모자형 구조부재의 굽힘 특성 (Bending Characteristic of CFRP & Hybrid Shaped Hat Structure Member According to Stacking Orientation Angle)

  • In this study, CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics) that has high specific strength and elastic modulus and low thermal strain was used as a material for the lightweight structural member. CFRP is a fiber material as anisotropic material. The anisotropic material is characterized by the change of its mechanical properties according to stacking orientation angle. CFRP orientation angle was oriented in [A/B]s in order to examine the effect of CFRP orientation angle on the characteristics of energy absorption. CFRP is very weak to the impact from the outside. So, when impact is applied to CFRP, its strength is rapidly lowered. The hybrid material was manufactured by combining CFRP to aluminum which is lightweight and widely used for structural members of the automobile. The hybrid member was shaped as a side member that could support the automobile engine and mount and absorb a large amount of impact energy at the front-end in case of automobile collision. The bending test device was manufactured in accordance with ASTM standard, and mounted to UTM for bending test. For comparing bending characteristics of the hybrid member with those of Aluminum and CFRP member, tests were performed for aluminum, CFRP and hybrid member, respectively.

모자형 단면부재의 압괴특성 연구 (A Study on Crushing Characteristic of Hatted Section Tube)

  • In the frontal collision of cars, front parts of cars such as engine rail and side members that are composed of hatted section tubes should absorb most of the collision energy far the passenger compartment not to be deformed. For these reasons the study on the collapse characteristics, maximum crushing load and energy absorption capacity of hatted section tubes are needed. In this study, top hatted section tubes and double hatted section tubes are investigated. The maximum crushing load of hatted section tubes is induced from plastic buckling stress of plates by considering that the hatted section tubes are composed of plates with each different boundary conditions and that its material has a strain hardening effect. On this concept maximum crushing load equations of hatted section tubes are derived and verified by experiments. from the results of experiment, the differences of collapse characteristics between top hatted section tube and double hatted section tube are analysed. And mean crushing loads of hatted section tubes from experiments are compared with other theory.

Experimental behaviour of circular concrete filled steel tube columns under lateral cyclic loading

  • This study experimentally explored the behaviour of 12 concrete filled steel tube (CFST) and steel tube columns subjected to lateral cyclic loading. The L/D ratio was 12.3 while D/t ratios were 45.4, 37.8 and 32.4, classifying these 12 specimens into 3 groups. Each group included 3 CFST and 1 steel tube columns and were tested to failure. The experimental results indicated that CFST specimens reached the state of 'collapse prevention' (drift 4%) prior to the occurrence of local buckling. Strength degradation of CFST specimens did not occur up to the failure by buckling. This showed the favourable characteristic of CFST columns in preventing collapse of structures subjected to earthquakes. The high energy absorption capability in the post collapse limit state was appropriate for dissipating energy in structures. Compared to steel tube columns, CFST columns delayed local buckling and prevented inward buckling. Consequently, CFST columns exhibited their outstanding seismic performance in terms of the increased ultimate resistance, capacity to sustain 2-3 additional load cycles and significantly higher drift. A simple and reasonably accurate model was proposed to predict the ultimate strength of CFST columns under lateral cyclic loading.

Electron Withdrawing Group을 함유한 Polythiophene의 합성과 특성에 관한 연구 (Synthesis and Characteristic of Polythiophene Containing Electron Withdrawing Group)

  • 전자를 끌어당기는 benzotriazole을 vinylene으로 thiophene과 연결한 3-(2-benzo-triazolovinyl)thiophene (BVT)을 합성하고, FT-IR 및 $^1H$-NMR, $^{13}C$-NMR, 2D hetero-cosy spectra로 구조분석을 하였다. 합성한 BVT와 3-octylthiophene (OT)을 공중합 하였다. 공중합체들은 수평균 분자량 12000 (PDI 2.67)과 15000 (PDI 2.55)을 나타내었으며, THF, TCE와 chloroform 등의 유기용매에 잘 용해되었다. 공중합체들의 BVT와 OT의 공중합된 비율은 $^1H$-NMR spectra에 의하여 BVT : OT = 1 : 1.8과 1 : 2.8 (mol/mol)로 확인되었다. 파장 470 nm와 465 nm에서 UV-vis 최대 흡수를 나타내었고, photoluminescence (PL)는 각각 ${\lambda}_{max}$ = 662 nm와 641 nm로 나타나 적색계로 관찰되었다. 공중합체의 band gap은 각각 1.96 eV, 2.02 eV로 poly(3-octylthiophene)보다 더 증가하였다. 또한, poly(3-octylthiophene)에 비해서 HOMO 에너지 준위는 모두 낮아졌으나, LUMO 에너지 준위는 모두 높아졌다.

염료감응형 태양전지의 착색 특성 개선 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Coloring in Dye-sensitized Solar Cell)

  • In this study, we have attempted a new method to enhance the coloring of dye on the $TiO_2$ surface in the dye sensitized solar cell. In the conventional coloring process in a dye sensitized solar cells, dye is absorbed by the covalent bond between TiO2 and dye molecule while the photo-electrode coated with $TiO_2$ layer is soaked in dye solution for about 12-24 hours. But this process takes long time, so we have researched more effective and faster way than the conventional process by applying electric field. Three kinds of electric power such as direct voltage, alternating voltage and pulse voltage were applied to the transparent conducting oxide during the coloring process. As a result, we achieved improved power, fill factor and efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cell in case of applying direct voltage and pulse voltage. In contrast, alternating voltage tend to reduce the dye adsorption on the $TiO_2$ surface and hence the efficiency. We measured the absorption spectra of dye by UV-VIS spectrophotometer before and after soaking the $TiO_2$ in the dye and found no characteristic change in the dye was observed. In this study, we researched on shortening time of coloring process which spent much time in the whole process.
