고속 볼엔드밀가공에서 회전오차의 측정을 통한 표면거칠기 예측에 관한 연구 (Prediction of Surface Roughness through Measuring Runout in High-speed Ball-End Milling)

  • In this study the runout of spindle is selected as a parameter through which we could measure the machinability of machine and the quality of products. We experimented the effects of runout on surface roughness in high-speed ball-end milling by cutting HP4M workpiece in various cutting condition. It was founs that sunout makes a directive effects on surface roughness and the frequensy type of runout is more or loss similar with that of surface roughness. So the predcition of surface roughness could be possible through measuring the spindle runout.

농약원제 및 제품 간의 자극성 및 감작성 상관성 평가 연구 (Correlation of Active Ingredients and End-use Products Pesticide on Irritation and Sensitization)

  • 2000년 이후 국내에 등록된 농약제품을 대상으로 원제 및 그 원제로 제조된 농약의 자극성 및 감작성에 대한 연관성을 연구하여 농약재등록, 신규등록 및 농약관리시 자극성 예측, 시험성적서 요구 결정 등에 대한 이용 가능성을 타진하고 농약관리의 기초 자료로 활용하기 위해 수행되었다. 농약의 자극성 및 감작성성적은 농약시험성적 정보집 및 농약등록 시 제출된 자료 등을 참고하여 원제 148성분 및 제품 149종의 자극성 및 감작성의 양성반응 빈도, 제형 간 반응차이, 원제와 제품간의 연관성 등을 조사 분석하였다. 원제 148성분 중 피부 자극성 133종, 안구 자극성 132종, 피부 감작성 97종의 성적이 이용되었으며, 항목별로 피부자극성 25(18.8%)종, 안구자극성 62(47%)종, 피부감작성 20(20.6%)종이 경도 이상의 양성반응을 보였다. 또한 149 품목 중 피부자극성 148종, 안구자극성 149종, 피부감작성 140종의 성적으로 분석한 결과 피부자극 22(14.9%), 안구자극 58(38.9%), 피부감작성 33(23.6%)품목이 경도 이상의 양성반응을 나타내었다. 동일제형 10품목 이상이 조사된 10종을 제형별, 독성반응별로 조사 분석하였다. 분석결과 원제와 제품간의 연관성은 피부자극성 73.1%, 안구자극성 44.7%, 피부감작성 66.2%로 분석되었으며, 성분함량간의 자극성 및 감작성은 아무런 상관성이 없는 것으로 판단되었다. 이상 원제와 제품간의 자극성 및 피부감작성에 관여하는 몇 가지 요인을 조사 분석한 결과 피부자극성 및 피부감작성은 원제와 제품간 각각 73.1%, 66.2%의 높은 상관성을 보였으나, 안구자극성은 제형 의존적인 것으로 판단되어 추후 더 많은 농약에 대하여 원제의 자극성성적, 제형특성 등을 참고하여 분석하면 자극성시험 수행 여부 결정을 위한 스크리닝 단계에 이용 가능할 것으로 판단되었다.

'일본수산지'의 편찬 배경과 과정에 대하여 (On the Background and the Process of 'Japan Fisheries' Compilation)

  • The aim of this study is to overview what changes happened on the maritime field during the early Meiji period, how the compilation of 'Japan Fisheries' linked to the changes, and when the 'Japan Fisheries' was launched, completed and published. The trilogy of Japan Fishing Method, Japan Fishery Products, and Japan's Useful Marine Products are called "Japan's Fishery." These were completed in 1895 for almost ten years since the compilation project was launched in 1886 at the Agricultural and Commercial Ministry. Japan Fishing Method selected, improved and recorded excellent fishing and fishing methods in various Japanese regions at that time whereas Japan Fisheries Products chose excellent fish products from various methods of manufacturing and recorded the enactment and sale of fishery products. Japan's Useful Marine Products is not currently passed on, so it is not known what kind of useful marine products are recorded. However, it can be assumed that the classification method of the "Japanese Fishing Classification Table" published in 1889 was based on the Japan Fishing Index. The cited texts in Japan Fisheries Products are up to 55 documents, including Engisiki and Wakansanzaizukai's "Report of the Great Japan Fishery Association," "Ariticle of the Fisheries Fair," "The Western Fishery Manufacturing Technique" and "Trade Situation with China." Completed with extensive research from old books to the latest fishery information, "Japan's Fishery" is Japan's best "Marine Products Encyclopedia" at the time. It is also a valuable literature that can trace fishing and fishing techniques and methods of manufacturing marine products in each Japanese fishing village before the end of the nineteenth century.

유럽의 자동차부품 재제조산업에 관한 연구 (Remanufacturing Industry for Automobile Parts of European)

  • Remanufacturing is restoring or manufacturing the worn-out or discarded components of an end of life product in order to bring it to the "like new" condition. The aim is to reprocess used products in such a manner that the quality of the products is as good as or better than the new one, in terms of appearance, reliability and performance. This paper investigates the automotive remanufacturing industry in Europe. To further knowledge in this field, the paper focuses on the remanufacturing of the automotive components of end-of-life vehicles. The paper scope emphasizes key remanufacturing companies, which are identified and were surveyed in terms of their business structures. The research aims to address the potential for growth within the remanufacturing industry, with regard to various players. The state of the art in remanufacturing of automotive equipment will be identified.

제지공정 섬유상 원재료 및 공정 첨가제의 환경오염 부하 분석 (The Analysis of Environmental Impact Load by Fibrous Raw Materials and Wet-end Additives in Papermaking Process)

  • It is generally known that paper industry is the second largest industry in the use of process water, and also have the highest environmental impact load in the contaminant sources. Paper is produced from the mixtures composed of 1% fibrous raw materials and 99% water. The optimum use of process water effects on the quality properties of paper and the environmental impact load of waste water treatment. In this research, the kinds of fibrous raw material & additives used in the paperboard production line were investigated, and the quantification of environmental loads and the environmental effects of process water on COD potential were evaluated. The NBDCODs were also analyzed from process water by the method of waste water treatment in paper mill and applied for the optimum use of recycling water, and zero effluent process. In the fibrous raw materials, KOCC caused the highest COD potentials, and sack paper & UKP was comparatively low. The NBDCOD of KOCC largely reduced after biological treatment because of easily biodegradable properties, but AOCC contained non-biodegradable materials. In chemical additives, COD was high in turns of rosin>starch>deaeration agent>dye, NBDCOD greatly reduced in starch and deaeration agent. In the case of 2 kinds of paperboard product, the COD potentials was mainly high in starch, AOCC and KOCC.

Hydrolytic Degradation of Synthetic Polytrimethylene Terephthalate and Characterization by MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometry

  • The structural analysis of polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) and characterization of the hydrolytic degradation products after acid hydrolysis were performed using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. Mass spectra of the PTT samples were analyzed using a self-calibration method as well as an internal calibration method with standard materials of known masses. PTT structures constituting the samples were determined from the analyses of the spectra, and their relative compositions were estimated. The MALDI-TOF mass spectra of the acid-hydrolyzed PTT sample showed three main series of oligomer products with different end groups in accordance with the hydrolysis schemes. From the spectra of both $Na^+$ and $K^+$ adducts, it was concluded that the PTT samples have higher affinity for $Na^+$ compared with $K^+$ and therefore show higher ionization efficiency with sodium ions when dithranol is used as a matrix. Two different wavelength laser beams ($\lambda$ = 337 nm and 355 nm) were tested and it was observed that the 355 nm beam was more efficient in obtaining the MALDI spectra of PTT using dithranol as a matrix under our experimental conditions.

볼엔드밀 가공시 공구경로가 Cusp의 크기에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Tool Path on the Cusp Height in Ball End Milling of Cylinderical Surface)

  • Sculptured surface machining plays a vital role in the process of bring new products to the market place. A great variety of products rely on this technology for the production of the dies and moulds used in manufacturing. And, the use of CNC machines and CAD/CAM system has become a vital parts of product development process. The propose of this study is to investigate the effect of cutting parameters on the machinability such as surface roughness and cusp generated in the machining of sculptured surface on a three-axis CNC machining center using the CAD/CAM system. Experimental result showed that: In step down cutting, as the inclined angle of surface became smaller, the cusp height appeared higher. On the other hand, in step over cutting, as the inclined angle of surface became larger, the cusp height appeared higher. In the point of precision machining, step over cutting was more effective. For the minimization of cusp height, step down cutting was effective in larger inclined surface, but step over cutting in smaller inclined surface.

회분식 미분반응기를 이용한 PE계 플라스틱의 열분해특성 연구 (Pyrolysis of PE plastics in the batch type microreactor)

  • HDPE와 LDPE에 대한 열분해실험을 반응기 크기가 40 $cm^3$인 스테인레스 스틸 반응기에서 수행하였으며 이때 반응온도는 $410{\sim}460^{\circ}C$이었다. 열분해생성물인 액상생성물과 기상생성물을 분리하여 채취하였고 각 생성물의 분자량분포는 HPLC-GPC와 GC분석을 통해 얻었다. 미분반응기에서 열분해온도와 시간이 증가할수록 액상생성물의 수율과 분자량 분포는 전체적으로 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 열분해반응에서 말단절단의 속도계수인 활성화에너지 값은 HDPE, 63.0kcal/mole, LDPE, 45.7kcal/mole 이었다.

중국약용식물의 최종당화산물 생성저해활성 검색 (VI) (Screening of Herbal Medicines from China with Inhibitory Activity on Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs) Formation (VI))

  • Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) has been shown to play an important role in the development of the diabetic complications. The AGEs inhibitors or cross-link breakers attenuate various functional and structural manifestations of diabetic complications. In this study, 69 China herbal medicines have been investigated with an in vitro evaluation system using AGEs inhibitory activity. Of these, 28 herbal medicines $IC_{50}$=<50 ${\mu}g/ml$) were found to have stronger AGEs inhibitory activity compared with aminoguanidine ($IC_{50}$=59.77 ${\mu}g/ml$). Particularly, 5 herbal medicines, Camptotheca acuminata (stem, leaf), Eurya groffii (stem, leaf), Cornus Capitata (leaf), Mucuna birdwoodiana (root), Nelumbo nucifera (fruit, seed) showed more potent inhibitory activity (approximately 6-27 fold) than the positive control aminoguanidine.
