압체고주파진공건조에 의한 주요 활엽수 무늬목 단판의 이할과 끝말림 예방효과 (Effect of a Radio-frequency/Vacuum plus Press Drying Process of Some Hardwood Veneers for Decoration on Checking and End Waving)

  • During a radio-frequency/vacuum plus press drying process of some hardwood veneers for decoration we investigated the effect of a grain and thickness of a veneer sheet on drying rates, variations of final moisture content within a bundle of veneer sheets, and formation of checking, end waving, and burning mark. About thirty three hundreds sheet of veneer could be dried in sixty five hours from green to in0-use moisture content, and a final moisture content was significantly effected by initial moisture content of veneer. There were nearly variations in a final moisture content among the veneer sheets in the same bundle. A checking was never found in a edge-sliced veneer, and very slight in a flat-sliced veneer of ash and red oak. There were no end waving and no burning mark in all veneer sheets.

주축 런아웃이 절삭흔과 표면거칠기에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spindle Run-out Effects on Cutter Mark and Surface Roughness)

  • The radial error motion of a machine tool cutter/spindle system is critical to the dimensional accuracy of the parts to be machined. This paper presents an investigation into spindle run-out effects on cutting mark and surface roughness. We experimented the effects of spindle run-out on surface roughness in flat-end milling by cutting AL 7075 workpiece in various cutting conditions. In order to analyze the effects of run-out on the surface roughness, the spindle's radial error motions was measured by mounting a sphere target onto the spindle as a reference. From the experimental results, it was found that spindle un-out makes a directive effects on surface roughness in flat-end milling.

고급강판용 엔드마크 감소를 위한 고무 슬리브의 개발 (Development of Rubber Sleeve for Reduction of End-mark in Cold Rolled Steel Sheet)

  • In this study, a FEM analysis is undertaken of a rubber sleeve which is mounted onto a spreading mandrel so as to avoid marking the first wrappings of coils (known as the 'end-mark'), as occasionally occurs when a concentrated load is placed on the edge of a steel sheet, significantly reducing its quality. A commercial numerical package, ANSYS, was utilized to analyze the structural behavior of the rubber sleeve. In general, the strain of the sleeve increases as the thickness of the rubber layer (H) covering the tubes increases, thus also increasing the surface of the sleeve for a constant boundary condition, and decreasing the pitch (P) between each tube, resulting in an increase in the strain on the surface of the sleeve for all rubber thickness conditions tested here. In a comparison of two different materials, rubber and urethane, when H=3 mm and P=1.1D, the maximum total deformations in these cases are 0.12669 mm and 0.086623 mm, respectively.

헬릭스각이 버형성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Helix Angle on the Burr Formation)

  • Even in a fully automated factory, many deburring operations are carried out manually . To remove or minimize the burreffectively or automatically, understanding of the burr formation which occur at the exit stage of machining is necessary. Burrs can be formed on the feed mark ridges an the edges of the machined parts in machining operations. These burrs are underirable in terms of the surface quality, the precise dimensioning of the machined parts and the safety of operators. This paper demonstrates the effectiveness of using end mill tool on minimizing the exit burr formation in machining . In particular, the experimental relationships between the size of exit burr and the cutting parameters are established in end mill machining . Methods to control the size of exit burr are then explained.

DQ마크 인증제도의 시스템 소프트웨어 품질인증 수행 방안 연구 (Research on The System Software Quality Certification Implementation Plan of DQ Mark Certification)

  • 방위사업청은 2012년부터 군수품의 우수한 기술력과 품질을 인증하기 위해 DQ마크(Defense Quality Mark) 인증제도를 운영하고 있다. 하지만, 현행 DQ마크 인증제도는 소프트웨어(Software, SW) 단독 제품의 품질을 검증할 수 없어 소프트웨어 제품에 직접 DQ마크 인증을 부여하지 못하고 있다. 그러므로 본 논문은 DQ마크 인증제도에서 소프트웨어 제품의 품질을 검증할 방안을 찾기 위해 DQ마크 인증제도의 인증심사 절차와 국내·외 소프트웨어 품질평가, 인증 표준을 분석하였다. 그 중 국제표준인 ISO/IEC 25000 시리즈를 따르는 GS(Good Soft) 인증제도를 DQ마크 인증제도에 적용하는 방안을 개선방안으로 제시하여 DQ마크 인증제도에서 소프트웨어 제품의 품질을 검증하여 인증을 부여할 수 있도록 인증범위의 확대를 꾀하였다. 본 논문은 DQ마크 인증제도에 GS인증제도를 도입함으로써 시스템 소프트웨어 단독 제품에 대해 DQ마크 인증을 부여할 수 있도록 기존 인증절차에서 소프트웨어 제품 품질 평가에 불필요한 절차인 공장심사의 생략과 제품심사에 GS 인증서를 제출받아 검증하는 개선된 절차를 제안했고, 부여받은 DQ마크를 활용한 방산수출의 증대와 GS인증을 통한 국방 분야 소프트웨어 제품의 품질향상을 기대한다.

  • In this paper, we describe the radio astronomical data processing system implementation using Mark5B and its development. KASI(Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute) is constructing the KVN (Korean VLBI Network) until the end of 2007, which is the first VLBI(Very Long Baseline Interferometery) facility in Korea and dedicated for the mm-wave VLBI observation. KVN will adopt the DAS (Data Acquisition System) consisting of digital filter with various function and 1Gsps high-speed sampler to digitize the radio astronomical data for analyzing on the digital filter system. And the analyzed data will be recorded to recorder up to 1Gbps data rates. To test this, we have implemented the system which is able to process 1Gbps data rates and carried out the data recording experiment.

  • In the last year, the number of registered vehicles in Korea surpassed the 12 million mark, and increase in number continuously Nowdays, this tendency has raised some problems inevitably in the view of expansion of ELV(end of life vehicle) and earth environment pollution resulted from it. For the proper scope with this environment pollution, recycling of parts and materials, minimization of wastes are desirable. And application of disassembly technology is required for it necessarily. Therefore it is essential to study systematically about disassembly technology of ELV with high efficiency for improvement recycling ratio and diminution shredder dust amount also in Korea.

사출성형에 대한 충전과 보압과정의 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Filling and Packing Phases on the Injection Modeling)

  • Injection molding process factors such as molding temperature, injection pressure, flow rate and flow velocity, must be controlled properly in filling and packing phases in the injection molding process. In this study, effects of these factors on the injection molding were investigated through the flow analysis fur the filling and packing phases. Molding troubles like flow mark, weld line, sink mark, short shot and warpage can be caused by these injection molding process factors. Among them, the short shot was caused by that the packing pressure could not reach properly to the filling end part in the packing phase and hence the flow rate could not be supplied to the full. In addition, as the flow rate for the volumetric shrinkage during the frozen phase could not be supplied properly by the packing pressure, the short shot appeared. Here, the volumetric shrinkage reduced with increasing the packing pressure and also the warpage of molded part increased with increasing the packing pressure.

윤곽추적 영역채색 기법 (Connected-component Labeling using Contour Following)

  • A new efficient contour following algorithm for connected-component labeling processing is proposed. The basic idea of the algorithm is that the total number of downward chain codes is the same as one of upward chain codes along the closed contour. If the chain code direction is upward, then region start mark is assigned at the chain code departure pixel and if the chain code is downward, then region end mark is assigned at the chain code arrival pixel. The proposed algorithm extracts directly the contour information from only the current direction information of chain. This makes the algorithm simple and fast and requires less memory with comparison to the conventional algorithms.The proposed contour following algorithm can be applied to the various kind of image processing such as region filling, restoration and region feature extraction.
