  • As instances of private information leak increase, taking steps to protect such information becomes a necessity. In this study of public library patrons, we strove for a comprehensive understanding of library usage records to suggest viable solutions for private information safety in public libraries. To this end, we investigated the patrons' understanding of library usage records and determined the relationship between different user characteristics and privacy knowledge or leaks. The results show that a high number of patrons perceived these records as their own private information, but that there was no necessity for legal procedures or consent for the use of these records. Also, even though the understanding of these usage records showed that there was a relationship between the frequency of library visits and leaks of personal information, the correlation was not particularly strong.

  • The christian communities have been maintained and spreaded based on the great foundation of the holy bible. The printing and publishing technology made the holy bible popular at the end of the middle age. Namely, because of this remarkable development, the Bible have been became the best seller for centuries. Since the smart phone users have been growing, the number of people use the Bible Application have been increased. In this circumstance, the interface becomes a crucial element in the Age of Digital Media. Thus, developers have to regard the user's convenient. The user's characteristic is the important point to develop applications. This study is focusing on a particular using of the Bible, and how the using characteristic affects on application's UI. For this study, five bible applications reflecting particular using characteristics are chosen and compared in terms of function of services and elements of UI. Form this comparison and analysis, this study deduces the pattern of UI considering particular using characteristics such as patterns of reading, recording, sharing, and searching the bible. This study would be useful data for publications formed into applications and setting the UI which reflected the using characteristics be better user-centered.

  • The purpose of this study lies in analyzing the limitations and weakness of the existing PDL and proposing the principles for the development of a user-oriented PDL. The user group of PDL that we want to develop is university students. To this end, we investigate the information seeking behavior of the sampled user group, especially, their information needs, information use patterns, and information management patterns. Based on the results, we conceptually propose the systems specifications which the university students wish to be included in the PDL.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the status of specialized services and the overall satisfaction of the operation of the specialized services for the librarians and users of the specialized libraries, and based on the ISA method, compare the specialized theme data, specialized service place, specialized program, specialized theme area facilities and environment, and derive issues of the specialized library operation and improvement measures. Consequently, first, when developing the program, the specialized library needs to develop programs in possession of unique characteristics specific to the areas of the differentiated themes from the cultural and educational programs run by the existing libraries. Second, it is necessary to focus on the specialized theme area information services for the users, and to this end, it is necessary to improve librarians 'professionalism. Third, it is necessary to secure the budget for the specialized services and secure space. Since the scope of the services which may be provided as per the budget intended for providing specialized services may be limited, it would be necessary to secure and operate the budget systematic to this end. Fourth, the specialized library needs to proceed with activities in connection with local residents for the purposes of facilitating specialized services.

  • Researchers have suggested several methods for utilizing various kinds of services in an Internet of Things (IoT) environment. These methods require users to learn some new kinds of tools or expertise in programming. In this paper, we propose a new paradigm, which allows end-users to build IoT-service mashups based on a presentation-authoring scheme. We have also included a framework for this procedure. The design of a mashup model in this framework was based on a task-oriented service framework. Users can build a mashup of this framework in the presentation-file format, convert it into a service flow, and deploy it for running in an IoT environment. In addition, we use a case study to show how PowMash supports end-users' service mashups in an IoT environment.

  • The social problem-solving R&D is different from the goal and process in comparison with research aimed at scientific excellence and industrial innovation. It pursues social values and active participation of the end-user civil society. In this study, we try to derive its characteristics by analyzing the cases that are evaluated as successful social problem solving R&D project. In order to analyse the social problem-solving R & D case, these four variables are selected; 1) social and technological planning for problem solving 2) participatory technological development 3) law, system and delivery system development for innovation deployment 4) scale-up of new R&D process. Those are important issues identified through case studies: 1) the tools and support services needed to carry out social and technical planning effectively, 2) the role of the Living Lab to coordinate opinions with experts and users, 3) the legislative and institutional improvement activities as important as technological development, 4) researcher's change through interaction with end user.

  • In the conventional development methodologies, requirements are considered to be not changing after the analysis phase. But in the real world requirements can be changed and modified through out the development life cycle according to end-user's more understanding about the target system. new IT technologies, changes of customer environment and market situation, and so on. In this paper, an idea of improving the requirements specification to extend requirements management over the whole development life cycle is proposed to resolve the requirements management problem of development methodologies.

  • In this paper, we propose to characteristics of mobile phone dance live broadcast platform and the second-generation technology acceptance model TAM2, this paper established the user acceptance model of mobile phone dance live broadcast platform, aiming to study the influencing factors of users' acceptance on mobile phone dance live broadcast platform. Based on the empirical analysis of user survey, the model is validated, and the relationship between variables in the model is clarified. It is also confirmed that human-computer interaction, scene interaction, relationship interaction and other factors will affect the user's acceptance on mobile phone dance live broadcast platform. At the same time, based on the relationship among variables obtained in the research, this paper tries to analyze how the variables affect each other based on the actual practice of mobile phone dance live broadcast platform. In addition, the video design strategy and marketing strategy for further development of mobile phone dance live broadcast platform are given to help the platform and dance creators to carry out better promotion on the mobile side. In the end, this paper summarizes the shortcomings of this study and points out further research directions in the future, providing a reference for researchers in the field of mobile phone dance live broadcast platform acceptance.

  • Currently, various companies are actively participating in research and development of drone delivery services. Existing studies do not comprehensively provide integrated functions for future drone delivery services such as mission automation, customer verification, and overcoming performance limitations, which can lead to high manpower demand, reduced user service trust, and potentially overloading low-end devices. Therefore, this study proposes a drone mission automation system (DMAS) using EdgeCPS technology to provide the three aforementioned functions in an integrated manner. Real-world experiments were conducted to evaluate the proposed system, demonstrating that the DMAS components operate according to the specified roles in the delivery scenario. In addition, the system achieved user verification with a similarity of more than 90% in the process of receiving the product, and verified a faster inference speed and a lower resource share than the existing method.
