지상파 전파항법시스템에 적용하기 위한 eLoran Emulator 개발

  • 미국, 러시아, 중국 등 선진국에서는 GNSS와 같은 위성항법시스템의 취약성에 대한 대비하기 위한 고정밀도의 지상파 전파항법시스템을 독자적으로 개발하여 운영 중에 있지만, 우리나라는 1979년도에 도입한 외산장비로 포항 및 광주 송신국을 구축하여 Loran-C 체인으로 지상파 전파항법시스템을 운영 중에 있다. 특히 위성항법시스템이 없는 우리나라 입장에서는 어느 위성항법시스템에 종속되지 않는 고정밀도의 지상파 eLoran 전파항법시스템 개발이 더욱 절실히 요구되고 있다. 본 연구 개발에서는 고정밀도의 eLoran 지상파 항법시스템 개발에 앞서 eLoran 송수신 시스템을 검증하고, 실제 공간상의 채널환경을 모사할 수 있는 eLoran emulator를 개발하였다.

  • This paper presents the application study of substation automation protocol, IEC 61850 to digital relay (HiMAP). Especially, it implements the data modeling, ACSI definition, GOOSE, MSVCB and data service required in the existing digital relay. To verify the system performance, we develop the process emulator and HiMAP emulator, and describe the results.

SCATOMi : Scheduling Driven Circuit Partitioning Algorithm for Multiple FPGAs using Time-multiplexed, Off-chip, Multicasting Interconnection Architecture

  • FPGA-based logic emulator with lane gate capacity generally comprises a large number of FPGAs connected in mesh or crossbar topology. However, gate utilization of FPGAs and speed of emulation are limited by the number of signal pins among FPGAs and the interconnection architecture of the logic emulator. The time-multiplexing of interconnection wires is required for multi-FPGA system incorporating several state-of-the-art FPGAs. This paper proposes a circuit partitioning algorithm called SCATOMi(SCheduling driven Algorithm for TOMi)for multi-FPGA system incorporating four to eight FPGAs where FPGAs are interconnected through TOMi(Time-multiplexed, Off-chip, Multicasting interconnection). SCATOMi improves the performance of TOMi architecture by limiting the number of inter-FPGA signal transfers on the critical path and considering the scheduling of inter-FPGA signal transfers. The performance of the partitioning result of SCATOMi is 5.5 times faster than traditional partitioning algorithms. Architecture comparison show that the pin count is reduced to 15.2%-81.3% while the critical path delay is reduced to 46.1%-67.6% compared to traditional architectures.

  • The match-on-token is a system which executes the user-authentication on the system using the user's biometric information. Nowadays, due to increase of request of the secure user-authentication on various parts, it comes to more use. In this paper, the match-on-token system under development by ETRI is described. The system consists of a host and an emulator board. USB is employed as the communication channel between them. First, the hooting code of the emulator board was programmed and tested in order that USB programs and the finger-print matching program can be executed correctly. Then, host programs cooperating with the board was designed, implemented and tested. Finally, future research including optimization of applications on the match-on-token will be mentioned.

  • If the tactile sense is introduced to engineering and industries, it may provide more realistic virtual tactile sensing to human and it is possible to develop product that satisfy various consumer's taste. This paper presents a compliance emulator system as a new concept of tactile reproduction simulator which uses magnetic levitation in order to minimize friction and emulates compliance only along the vertical direction. Compliance is one of the important mechanical properties of the object related to tactile sensing of the human. The implemented system equipped with an analog LVDT sensor for a position sensor and employs a PD control with gravity compensation to emulate the specified compliance. To compensate the limited range of the system, the method of attaching the spring with various magnitude of stiffness to the system is adopted and its preliminary test is performed to confirm the validity of the method.

  • Number of components and payload systems installed in satellites were found to be exposed to various disturbance sources such as the reaction wheel assembly, the control moment gyro, coolers, and others. A micro-level of vibration can introduce jitter problems into an optical payload system and cause significant degradation of the image quality. Moreover, the prediction of on-orbit vibration effects on the performance of optical payloads during the development process is always important. However, analyzing interactions between subsystems and predicting the vibration level of the payloads is extremely difficult. Therefore, this paper describes the analytical and experimental approach to microvibration effects on satellite optical payload performance with integrated jitter analysis framework, micro vibration emulator and satellite structure testbed.

  • 인터넷 기술의 발달과 사용자들은 언제 어디서나 원하는 정보를 얻기를 원하게 되었다. 이러한 요구론 배경으로 무선 인터넷 시장은 급속한 발전을 이루고 있다. 그리고 사용자들의 요구도 점차 다양화되고 있는 실정이다. 그로 인해 대표적인 무선 인터넷 기반 언어인 WML(Wireless Markup Language)과 WMLScript를 개발자가 좀 더 실제와 같은 상황에서 편리하게 개발할 수 있는 환경이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 CP(Content provider)들이 현실감 있게 무선 컨텐츠를 개발, 브라우징 할 수 있도록 하는 WAP Emulator에서 브라우저의 구조와 WMLScript Interpreter글 포함하고 있는 인터페이스 설계와 구현에 대하여 기술한다.

신경회로망을 이용한 유도전동기 속도제어 (The speed control of induction motor using neural networks)

  • The paper presents a speed control system of vector controlled induct- ion motor using neural networks. The main feature of proposed speed control system is a Neural Network Controller(NNC) which supplies torque current to induction motor and Neural Network Emulator(NNE) which captures the forward dynamics of induction motor. A back propagation training algorithm is employed to train the NNE and NNC. In order to determine the NNC output error, plant(induction motor) output error can be back propagated through the NNE. The NNC and NNE for speed control of vector controlled induction motor is carried out by TMS320C30 DSP and IGBT current regulated PWM inverter. Through computer simulation and experimental results, it is verified that proposed speed control system is robust to the load variation. (author). refs., figs.

  • This work describes a design and implementation of the level & flow rate control system by using a single-chip microcontroller. The proposed model system is designed based on the use of the single-chip microcontroller 8031 with the EPROM emulator for programming the computer software. The microcontroller reaches the input level and flow signals from the level sensor and the turbine flowmeter, respectively, via the signal conditioning circuits and A/D converters in order to calculate the control signal.   • 본 논문에서는 VoIP 서비스를 사용하는데 있어서 IP 망에서 음성품질을 저해시키는 요소들을 Emulator를 통해 실험함으로써 음성품질에 영향을 미치는 요소에 대해 분석하였다. 그리고 QoS 분석에서는 실제 망 환경에서 겪을 수 있는 영향요소들에 대한 실측치를 반영하여 망 품질에 대한 망상태의 변화를 분석하였다. 망 품질의 가장 큰 영향을 주는 Delay, Jitter, 패킷손실에 대해 실측한 데이터는 IP망에서의 고품질의 VoIP 서비스를 제공하는 기반이 될 것으로 기대한다.
