Beliefs About Infants of Mothers Rearing 18~24 Month Old Infants and Their Practices (18~24개월 자녀를 둔 어머니의 영아에 대한 신념 및 신념에 따른 양육 실제)

  • Objective: This study aimed to understand mothers' beliefs about infants and their practices. Methods: As a qualitative study, the participants were 11 mothers and their 18-24 month old infants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations. Results: The participants' maternal beliefs about infants were contrasted in terms of infants' abilities and respect for infants. First, the mothers that perceived infants as competent beings, believed that infants can understand daily routine, communicate and empathize, and concentrate. On the contrary, the mothers that perceived infants as incapable beings, believed that infants lack the understanding of daily routine and the abilities of communication, empathy, and concentration. Second, the mothers that perceived infants as subjective beings, respected their infants, and their infants' opinions when making decisions. On the other hand, the mothers that perceived infants as objective beings, believed that infants should be led by adults and their opinions as not being very important. Third, their maternal beliefs were closely connected to their practices. Conclusion/Implications: Since maternal beliefs about infants turn out to be significant in mothers' thoughts and practices with their infants, it is necessary to figure out maternal beliefs about infants and support them to have more positive beliefs.

  • Social innovation refers to activities that solve social problems by developing new ideas in cooperation with actors close to the field for the purpose of preserving the sustainability of society. In the field of social innovation, voices calling for a bottom-up method that starts with citizen participation are growing, and the need to improve public officials' awareness of social innovation and strengthen professionalism is being raised. In the era of Covid 19 and the 4th industrial revolution, digital literacy is being emphasized to us. In the field of social innovation, the need to strengthen social activities using digital media is growing. In this paper, an example of online social innovation project education based on the design thinking methodology was presented for public officials in Busan to improve their awareness of social innovation and secure expertise, and the effect of job competency reinforcement was statistically verified. As a result of statistical analysis, the average difference between the 'online communication' factor and the 'online empathy' factor was the largest, and it can be interpreted that digital literacy for social innovation has been strengthened.

Validation of the Maternal Emotion Coaching Questionnaire for Mothers of Preschool Children (유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 정서코칭 평가도구 타당화)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to test the psychometric properties of the Maternal Emotion Coaching Questionnaire (MECQ, Lim et al., 2018) in order to measure emotion coaching in mothers of preschoolers. Methods: A total of 316 preschoolers and their mothers participated in this study. Maternal emotion coaching was assessed by self-report and child emotion regulation ability was evaluated by the teacher. Data were analyzed with chi-square tests, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, latent profile analysis, and F-test. Results: Each item of the MECQ showed proper discriminative power. The MECQ and each subscale demonstrated adequate internal consistency and split-half reliability. Evidence of construct validity was provided by confirmatory factor analysis. The five-factor model including maternal attention, awareness, acceptance, empathy, and guidance showed a good fit. Results of the latent profile analysis revealed three profiles of emotion coaching: excellent, good, and poor. Preschoolers with mothers in the poor coaching profile showed significantly lower emotion regulation ability compared to those in the excellent or good coaching profiles, which suggested discriminative validity of the MECQ. Conclusion/Implications: The MECQ presents a reliable and valid tool to assess emotion coaching in mothers of preschool children and can thus be effectively used for mothers of preschoolers.

The Study on the Application Plan of democratic citizenship education for Christian Education in the era of Climate Crisis (기후 위기 시대에 기독교 교육을 위한 민주시민교육의 적용방안)

  • The climate crisis threatens Earth's ecosystems and biodiversity. In particular, it can be said that the cause of the global crisis began with human greed. An educational alternative is needed to change the Christian worldview that causes greed. The purpose of this study is to find ways to apply democratic citizenship education to Christian education as an alternative to overcome the climate crisis. The contents of the study to achieve the purpose were first the essence of Christian citizenship education was examined by dividing it into citizenship education, democratic citizenship education, and Christian citizenship education. Second, The model of democratic citizenship education was established by defining its goals, content, methods, and directions within the context of Christian citizenship education. Third, the application plan of Christian education for democratic citizenship education was classified into 7 categories and proposed; environmental education to overcome the climate crisis, ethical education to restore the public role of the church, education to form God's character, education to realize the village education community, education that promotes Christ's peace and Christ education that fosters consideration for multicultural individuals, and literacy education to prevent the negative impacts of digital media culture. Next, the plan to apply democratic citizenship education to Christian education is, first, to reduce human greed and restore God's creation order through environmental education that can overcome the climate crisis. Second, through ethics education to restore the church's public nature, it is necessary to restore the church's role for the church's moral empathy and publicity. Third, through the education that forms the God's character, it is necessary to form a mature character of faith in which personality and faith are harmonious and balanced. Fourth, schools, villages, and churches form a community through education that realizes a village education community so that the members of the village can obtain educational results. Fifth, through education that aims for the peace of the God Christians should be able to live as Christian democratic citizens who achieve peace in the kingdom of God. Sixth, through education that considers multicultural people, faith education that helps them overcome discrimination, exclusion, and hatred toward multicultural people with the love of Jesus Christ and seek a life of coexistence. Seventh, through literacy education that prevents the harmful effects of digital media culture, personal ability to read and write in media should ultimately be improved to the ability to practice socially.

  • There are common features among successful entrepreneurs without regarding to the stages of startup like challenge, growth, leap and maturity stages. We know that the successful entrepreneurs have strong entrepreneurship and interpersonal competency through many experiences in the real field of startup ecosystem. Entrepreneurship has a positive effect on intention to start a business, and the importance of entrepreneurship in business startups has been found through many studies. In addition, in most curriculum of startup, entrepreneurship education is operated like an introduction to the startup education. However, in research on entrepreneurship and education on entrepreneurship, it is not easy to find other factors related to interpersonal competence except for leadership. In this study, we redefined relation-building competences in consideration of relation-building parts such as self-openness, affinity, communication, empathy and consideration among various competencies of interpersonal relations, and analyzed the difference of startup intention according to the degree of relation-building competences. As a result, there was a significant difference in the degree of relation-building competences between the group of start-up entrepreneurs and the group with no intention of starting a business. It was proved that the relation-building competences is important for entrepreneurs. Therefore, in addition to studying entrepreneurship, which is represented by conductivity, innovation, autonomy, and risk sensitivity, the studying of relationship-building competences should be continued. It is expected that various research results analyzing the relationship between startups and relationship-building competences will be reflected in entrepreneurship education.

  • Education, Science and Technology Department in January 2012, announced the advancement of mathematics education scheme. Select a textbook of storytelling method in policy by this, it is easy to understand the math, and that you can learn happily, was fabricated and spread. In this study, we selected three of the textbook that describes the set to its characteristics the application of storytelling in a textbook of mathematics 13 different middle school that will be used from March 2013. And of research that the textbook is to analyze the reflected reality of storytelling that is part of the advancement scheme of mathematics education content and direction and basic curriculum of current. View by presenting instead I is an object of the present invention. Six components of storytelling in the teaching and learning context that is proposed in the Park's study (2012) are used to analyze. Those are 'Persona', 'empathy', 'analogy', 'aesthetic experience ', 'plot' and 'time'. The data were analyzed storytelling was used to introduce the nature and mathematical concepts in math textbook based on these elements 6. That is looking at the ratio of the presence or absence of reflecting elements of storytelling on teaching and learning context that the data storytelling meets much the elements of storytelling to investigate the characteristics of each textbook. It is expected to provide the information and resources needed to develop methods and materials that can be studied to be interested in conjunction with real life mathematics as a result of this study.

Behavior and perception characteristics on the isolated students and the bystanders in physical education (체육수업 참여 학생들의 교우관계 소외자와 방관자 행동 특성 및 인식 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the nature and recognition of the isolated students and bystanders in respect of friendship in Middle School Physical Education. To achieve these objectives, we analyzed statistical material through PQR and inductive category by completing open questionnaires for 360 students bullied in public middle school in a large city. According the results, first, damages defender of participants showed the highest percentage, 70.2%. There were bystanders(12.3), the alienated(7.4) inflictor(5.5), contributor(4.6) in descending order. Second, according to the results of inductive analysis regarding the nature and recognition of bystanders in physical education, the biggest reason for not helping their colleagues in need is as following: ① improper friendship(32.8), ② lack of moral and emotional empathy(28.1), ③ lack of exercise ability(15.6), ④ psychological burden(12.5), ⑤ improper class attitude(10.9).   • This study was conducted to test whether the education program consisted with knowledge about professional care for elderly and content of elderly simulation experience to improve empathy had positive effects on attitude and intention to practicing nursing care toward elderly. According to the study results, It was appeared that the experimental group provided both knowledge and elderly simulation experience showed more positive attitude toward elderly(t=2.56, p=.026) and intention to practicing nursing care for elderly(t=6.73, p=.003), compared with the group provided knowledge only. However, after experiencing elderly simulation program, the attitude toward elderly(t=1.22, p=.170) and intention to practice nursing care for elderly(t=-0.08, p=.470) in experimental group improved very little or so, whereas the attitude toward elderly(t=-2.33, p=.012) and intention to practice nursing care for elderly(t=-1.08, p=.150) in comparison group became even worse.

An Interpretation of Jeungsan's Haewon(解冤) Thought in Film - Focusing on The Way of Peace (1984) - (강증산(姜甑山)의 해원사상에 대한 이해 - 영화 <화평의 길>(1984)을 중심으로 -)

  • This paper deals with the artistic expression of religious thought in terms of the uniqueness of different images and creativity. The relationship between religion and art is complicated but popular in modern society. Film becomes the icon of modern culture to enhance the knowledge of religious traditions. Among many Korean religious films, Kang Daejin's work, The Way of Peace (1984) contains the life and thought of Kang Jeungsan(1871-1909), the highest god of Daesoonjinrihoe. First, the film, The Way of Peace, pays attention to the legitimacy of succession from Kang Jeungsan to Cho Jeongsan(1895-1958). Korea was beset with trouble both at home and abroad. China, Japan, Russia, and the US had the colonial desire to conquer the lands of Korea and to explore natural resources. Though the people of Eastern Learning(東學) protested government and Japanese colonialists, Jeungsan applied the principle of non-violence to the world. In order to save all the living beings of the world, he reordered the universe and renewed the harmonic relationship of human beings and their spirit. Second, The Way of Peace proposed the soteriology of peace and change to audience regardless of seekers(道人) or not. Jeungsan transformed the closed society to the open society, changed divided religions to the transcendent truth(道). He empowered the marginalized people such as women, the lowly, the elderly, and the sick, who were oppressed in the Confucian society. And he redeemed the people from the disease by healing all diseases and correcting disorders. In conclusion, The Way of Peace is a good resource of religious education by which we can overcome the religious illiteracy. The knowledge of new religious movements and Daesoonjinrihoe is necessary for us to understand the diversity of human nature. In the near future, the new images of Jeungsan should be created through multi-media and cultural contents for the new generation.

A Study on the Potential and Limitation of Pre-producing Dramas through Social Analysis -focusing on a jtbc drama - (소셜 분석을 통한 사전제작 드라마의 가능성과 한계에 관한 연구 -jtbc <맨투맨>을 중심으로-)

  • This paper examines the relevance of pre-production and storytelling in big data analysis and, focusing on JTBC's Man to Man series, looks at how the drama's storytelling should be structured. In this study, we conducted text mining on blogs focused on a particular topic to read the viewer's thoughts on pre-produced dramas and on 67 blogs written about Pre-Production Dramas from 2016.12.15 to 2017.12.15. Also, we conducted sentiment analysis about the Man to Man series, which is not only a pre-production drama, but also has storytelling issues. The blog text extraction and text mining were analyzed using the OutWit Hub and the R, and the tools.provided by social metrics were used to make sentiment analyses of the larger data. Sentiment analysis revealed that the viewers of the Man to Man series did not agree with the romance between Kim Sul-woo and Cha Do-ha, due to the lack of reality in the female characters. Therefore, it was concluded that it is crucial to increase the reality of the characters in order to increase the audience's empathy. These studies will continue to be necessary, because they will form the basis for digitally driven storytelling studies and will provide valuable materials for conducting predictions and instructions in the cultural content industry.
