사용자와 실시간으로 감성적 소통이 가능한 한국어 챗봇 시스템 개발 (Development of a Korean chatbot system that enables emotional communication with users in real time)

  • In this study, the creation of emotional dialogue was investigated within the process of developing a robot's natural language understanding and emotional dialogue processing. Unlike an English-based dataset, which is the mainstay of natural language processing, the Korean-based dataset has several shortcomings. Therefore, in a situation where the Korean language base is insufficient, the Korean dataset should be dealt with in detail, and in particular, the unique characteristics of the language should be considered. Hence, the first step is to base this study on a specific Korean dataset consisting of conversations on emotional topics. Subsequently, a model was built that learns to extract the continuous dialogue features from a pre-trained language model to generate sentences while maintaining the context of the dialogue. To validate the model, a chatbot system was implemented and meaningful results were obtained by collecting the external subjects and conducting experiments. As a result, the proposed model was influenced by the dataset in which the conversation topic was consultation, to facilitate free and emotional communication with users as if they were consulting with a chatbot. The results were analyzed to identify and explain the advantages and disadvantages of the current model. Finally, as a necessary element to reach the aforementioned ultimate research goal, a discussion is presented on the areas for future studies.

행동 네트워크를 이용한 감정형 제스처 기반 대화 관리 시스템 (An Emotional Gesture-based Dialogue Management System using Behavior Network)

  • 최근 로봇의 다양한 활용과 더불어 로봇-사람간의 상호작용에 대한 연구 또한 활발하게 진행되고 있으며, 대표적으로 자연어 처리나 대화중 제스처 생성 등의 방법이 로봇과 사람간의 의사소통에 적용되었다. 그러나 기존의 로봇-사람간의 의사소통을 위한 방법을 통해서는 정적인 의사소통만을 수행할 수 있다는 한계가 존재하며, 보다 자연스럽고 사실적인 의사소통 방법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 보다 수준 높은 의사소통을 위해 감정형 제스처 기반 대화 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 베이지안 네트워크와 패턴 매칭을 이용하여 로봇과 사람간의 대화를 수행함과 동시에 로봇-사람간의 대화 도중 실시간으로 상황에 어울리는 로봇의 감정형 제스처를 생성한다 감정형 제스처 생성을 통해 로봇은 사람에게 대화를 보다 효과적으로 전달함과 더불어 사실적인 상호작용을 수행할 수 있다. 제스처 생성은 동적으로 변화하는 대화 상황에 유연하게 대처할 수 있도록 행동 네트워크를 사용하였다. 이후 제안하는 감정형 제스처 기반 시스템의 유용성을 검증하기 위해 사용성 평가를 통해 감정이니 제스처를 사용하지 않는 기존의 대화 관리 시스템과의 비교를 수행하였다.

영화 대사의 정량적 분석을 통한 등장인물의 감정과 서사간의 상관성 연구 (Analysis of the Correlation between Narrative and Emotions Displayed by Movie Characters through a Quantitative Analysis of Dialogues in a Movie)

  • 영화의 언어적 요소인 대사(dialogue)는 영화의 서사 전개에서 중요한 역할을 한다. 하지만 스토리를 이미지로 표현하는 영화의 매체적 특성상 영화 분석의 초점은 주로 영상에 맞추어져 있었고, 대사는 평가절하되거나 그 중요성에 비해 연구가 미흡한 것이 사실이다. 본 연구는 그동안 영화 연구에서 부차적이고 주변적인 위치에 머물러 있던 대사가 서사의 진행에서 어떤 기능을 하는지 살펴보고, 대사가 영화에서 갖는 의미를 조명한다. 이를 위해 영화 속 등장인물들의 발화를 통해 표출된 감정 표현(emotion expressions)들을 대사로부터 수작업으로 선별하여 긍정과 부정으로 극성 분류를 한 후, 감정 표현들의 비율이 어떻게 서사와 연관성을 갖는지를 정량적으로 분석하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the opportunities of close emotional support and communication provided by child-teacher dialogue journal writing activities are meaningful to the three subjects of early childhood education, children, teacher, and parents, and provide implications about how to utilize child-teacher dialogue journal writing activities in the field of education properly. According to the findings, first, to children, child-teacher dialogue journal writing activities are meaningful as asecret time between them and their teacher, time that their teacher pays keen attention to them, and time to enhance confidence. Second, to teachers, child-teacher dialogue journal writing activities are meaningful as aspecial time to be with children, time to understand children, and time to reflect on their educational process and figure out proper teaching or supporting methods. Third, to parents, child-teacher dialogue journal writing activities are meaningful in a way in which they can understand moreabout their children and is a meaningful time to plan and provide proper care upon their children's wishes or needs.

Classification of Characters in Movie by Correlation Analysis of Genre and Linguistic Style

  • The character dialogue created by AI is unnatural when compared with human-made dialogue, and it can not reveal the character's personality properly in spite of remarkable development of AI. The purpose of this paper is to classify characters through the linguistic style and to investigate the relation of the specific linguistic style with the personality. We analyzed the dialogues of 92 characters selected from total 60 movies categorized four movie genres, such as romantic comedy, action, comedy and horror/thriller, using Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC), a text analysis software. As a result, we confirmed that there is a unique language style according to genre. Especially, we could find that the emotional tone than analytical thinking are two important features to classify. They were analyzed as very important features for classification as the precision and recall is over 78% for romantic comedy and action. However, the precision and recall were 66% and 50% for comedy and horror/thriller. Their impact on classification was less than romantic comedy and action genre. The characters of romantic comedy deal with the affection between men and women using a very high value of emotional tone than analytical thinking. The characters of action genre who need rational judgment to perform mission have much greater analytical thinking than emotional tone. Additionally, in the case of comedy and horror/thriller, we analyzed that they have many kinds of characters and that characters often change their personalities in the story.

컴퓨터의 대화기능을 이용한 바지원형의 자동설계 (1) (An Automatic Design of Pants Pattern Making using Dialogue Function of Computer (1))

  • The purpose of this research was to develop an automatic design with dialogue function in computer for pants pattern making. AutoCAD including AutoLISP was the programable software package, so AutoCAD were used basically for this research. The conclusions were like these; 1. Dialogue functions of computer allowed the designer to choose emotional elements. 2. The coordinate points needed in drafting for women's pants pattern making were suggest-ed by numerical fomula. So, if the input data of body sizes needed were used, pants patterns for person were automatically obtained as the output. 3. The several curvature parts were presented by using exponent function and the arc drawing of AutoCAD and the degree of bends were to be selected by choosing the simple parameter of algebraic function and arc AutoCAD command. 4. The program permited pattern manipulation and pattern grading of five standard sizes were presented. Also its flow chart by AutoLISP with dialogue function were presented.

  • 현대사회에서는 다양한 방법, 통로로 자신들의 의견을 표현하고 또한 감정들을 표출한다. 이렇게 표출된 다양한 문장 및 감정들을 통해 각 연령별로 어떤 문제를 가지고 있는지, 무슨 상황에 놓여있는지 등을 알 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이렇게 모여진 감성대화 말뭉치를 이용해 청소년들이 문장에서 추출한 단어들과 감정, 상황과 어떠한 연관성을 보이는지 확인해보고자 연구를 진행하였다. 청소년들이 남성의 경우 학교폭력 및 따돌림과 관련한 문제, 여성의 경우 가족관계와 관련한 문제와 연관성이 크다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, We design and implement a humanoid robot, With Educational purpose, which can collaborate and communicate with human. We present an affective human-robot communication system for a humanoid robot, D2, which we designed to communicate with a human through dialogue. D2 communicates with humans by understanding and expressing emotion using facial expressions, voice, gestures and posture. Interaction between a human and a robot is made possible through our affective communication framework. The framework enables a robot to catch the emotional status of the user and to respond appropriately. As a result, the robot can engage in a natural dialogue with a human. According to the aim to be interacted with a human for voice, gestures and posture, the developed Educational humanoid robot consists of upper body, two arms, wheeled mobile platform and control hardware including vision and speech capability and various control boards such as motion control boards, signal processing board proceeding several types of sensors. Using the Educational humanoid robot D2, we have presented the successful demonstrations which consist of manipulation task with two arms, tracking objects using the vision system, and communication with human by the emotional interface, the synthesized speeches, and the recognition of speech commands.

영화 시나리오와 영화촬영기법을 이용한 감정 예측 시스템 (Emotion Prediction System using Movie Script and Cinematography)

  • 최근에 다양한 정보로부터 감정을 예측하여 청중에게 감독이 알리고자 하는 정보를 빠르게 전달하고자 한다. 또한, 청중은 감독의 의도를 대화 내용에 나타나는 대사뿐만 아니라, 영상내의 다양한 정보인 촬영 기법, 장면의 배경, 배경 음악 등을 통해 비대사 구간에서도 감정의 흐름을 이해하려고 한다. 본 논문에서는 대사와 같은 문맥의 상황뿐만 아니라, 촬영 영상에 담아낸 색상, 음향, 구도, 배치 등에 의해 표현된 정보를 혼합하여 감정을 추출하고자 한다. 즉, 다양한 감정 표현 기법을 대사 구간, 비대사 구간으로 나누어 학습하고 판별하여 영상의 완성도에 기여하고 새로운 변화에 빠르게 적용할 수 있는 감정 예측 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 감정 예측시스템이 변형된 n-gram 방식과 형태소 분석을 적용한 사례와 비교했을 때, 정확도는 약 5.1%, 0.4% 향상되었고, 재현율은 약 4.3%, 1.6% 향상되었다.

Relationships between Experiencing Verbal Violence and the Emotional Responses and Coping Behaviors of Dental Hygienists

  • This study investigated the relationships between experiencing verbal violence and the emotional responses and coping behaviors of dental hygienists who worked in Jeonju between February 24 and March 18, 2017 to prepare strategies for managing verbal violence and establish a healthy working environment for dental hygienists. The following findings were obtained in this study. The dental hygienists primarily experienced verbal violence from patients and guardians (1.67 points). The most common verbal violence type was, "Someone treated me impolitely." The most common emotional response to verbal violence was "anger" (3.52 points). The coping style of most dental hygienists was problem-focused coping (3.28 points), followed by emotion-focused coping (2.75 points). Most hygienists with the problem-focused coping style stated that they resolve the problem through dialogue (3.51 points), while most hygienists with the emotion-focused coping style responded that they just ignore the situation (3.78 points). The relationship between experiencing verbal violence and the emotional responses and coping behaviors of dental hygienists showed a statistically significant positive correlation (p<0.05) with emotional responses and problem- and emotion-focused coping associated with experiencing verbal violence from dentists, patients, and guardians. These findings confirm the need to reduce verbal violence, control emotional responses after exposure to verbal violence, and use more problem-focused coping measures. Dental hygienists must develop interpersonal skills and communication techniques and promote professionalism in their workplace to protect themselves from verbal violence at work.
