Purpose: With the rapid changes in the technical development and the trend of consumption trend, the convenience store industry is facing an unprecedented competitive situation in the consumption environment where the boundary between online and offline is broken due to the stagnation of offline distribution channels and the spread of online shopping. The biggest innovation strategy of the major convenience store brands in recent years are introducing the O2O (Online to Offline) platform and presenting new products and services beyond the boundaries of online and offline to transform themselves into Omni Channel stores. The study is designed to analyze the effect of innovativeness of convenience store as a stimulus in O2O platform which customers perceive on store loyalty, the final response to external stimuli, through customer engagement with convenience store brands. Specifically, the innovativeness of convenience stores was divided into types of core activities in corporate marketing and focused on innovations in services, products(proposals), promotions and experiences. Research design, data, and methodology: Various hypotheses have been developed to achieve this research purpose. The data were collected from 1,128 questionnaires the age between 15 and 60 who had experience using retail store apps and delivery apps and were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and SmartPLS 3.3.7 program. Measurement model analysis was carried out to assess convergent and discriminant validity. Also, common method bias was tested using the values of VIF (variance inflation factor). The hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 3.3.7 program. Results: First, service innovation has a positive effect on cognitive engagement. Second, product, promotion and experience innovation have a positive effect on cognitive and affective engagement. Third, cognitive influences affective engagement. Finally, both cognitive and affective engagement affect store loyalty, but affective engagement has a stronger effect on store loyalty than cognitive engagement. Conclusions: All four types of innovation and cognitive engagement have a positive effect on emotional engagement, which has a stronger effect on store loyalty than cognitive engagement. Thus, while innovation can build loyalty through emotional engagement, innovation strategies must be designed and pursued with caution in terms of impact through cognitive engagement may not achieve the planned goals.
This paper proposes a rapid detection algorithm of a salient region for music video browsing system, which can be applied to mobile device and digital video recorder (DVR). The input music video is decomposed into the music and video tracks. For the music track, the music highlight including musical chorus is detected based on structure analysis using energy-based peak position detection. Using the emotional models generated by SVM-AdaBoost learning algorithm, the music signal of the music videos is classified into one of the predefined emotional classes of the music automatically. For the video track, the face scene including the singer or actor/actress is detected based on a boosted cascade of simple features. Finally, the salient region is generated based on the alignment of boundaries of the music highlight and the visual face scene. First, the users select their favorite music videos from various music videos in the mobile devices or DVR with the information of a music video's emotion and thereafter they can browse the salient region with a length of 30-seconds using the proposed algorithm quickly. A mean opinion score (MOS) test with a database of 200 music videos is conducted to compare the detected salient region with the predefined manual part. The MOS test results show that the detected salient region using the proposed method performed much better than the predefined manual part without audiovisual processing.
The conventional boundaries between art and technology are being torn down by the development of science in the 21st century. It is fulfilling the convergence to emphasize two-way communication. The purpose of this study is to analyze the expression and characteristics of the art and technology applied for the playful space, to present the intrinsic value of aesthetic experience, and finally to focus on the necessity of aesthetic experience in modern society. In the Playful space of art and technology, research methods and settings of the range to study the aesthetic experience are as follows: First, establish a theoretical consideration about the concept and characteristics of the aesthetic experience, based on Philosophical theories. Second, analyze the meaning of art and the expression elements and characteristics by using technology. Third, discuss the concept of play and features of aesthetic experience in the playful space. Fourth, investigate analysis of the case studies, focused on the architecture and space design announced through the media recently. Finally, proposes the value for the applicability of aesthetic experience that appears playful space works affect us. Nomadism means 'divide share' and 'drift where allocated'. The word to express a variety of modern people without being tied to a fixed time and place, constantly moving to new areas and explore the possibility. The progress of this study, first, to research on the conceptual study of Nomadism through Deleuze's theory of art and to organize Nomadism patterns and design paradigms in modern society. Second is to analyze and investigate cases of Nomadism based on the theoretical background in a way to reinterpret to the contemporary fashion, and to suggest the formative characteristics and inherent expressiveness of Nomadism expressed in modern fashion. Theoretical considerations made through the collection data were select from ready-to-wear women's collections 2005 S/S~2013 S/S presented in 'Style.com'. The results of the analysis of the formative characteristics of Nomadism in the $21^{st}$ century fashion are 'mixed expressions of time space and gender', 'pursuit of diversity through self-dismantling', 'clothing systemization of mobile and deformable' and 'temporary amusement, lightness, an expression of the ride rules'. The inherent expressiveness of Nomadism through these types of figurative representation are 'unbounded fashion', 'multi-center, multi-functional' and 'emotional directivity'. This research attempts to investigate the geographical approaches on healing, which have been neglected in geography relatively, comprehensively and to examine the meaning of healing in daily life from the viewpoint of the managers of psychological counselling caf$\acute{e}$s. According to the results of this research, exposed healing spaces such as mental clinics or counselling centers are regarded as cultural stigmatic spaces; besides, psychological counselling caf$\acute{e}$s decrease psychological distance or resistance and people calling for healing can access these healing spaces easily. Second, healing spaces from a perspective of modern people mean geographical boundaries as refuges for a brief time; accordingly, the users' activities in psychological counselling caf$\acute{e}$s as instant or unexpected healing spaces in daily life are interpreted as special experiences without any emotional burdens. And these psychological counselling caf$\acute{e}$s are regarded as the spaces where can experience healing repeatedly and continuously. Third, psychological counselling caf$\acute{e}$s were changed into general caf$\acute{e}$s as open spaces; therefore, they can penetrate deeper into daily life rather than others.

It can be said that film and game industries take core parts of the comtemporary cultural industry. For consumers in modern industry, cultural industry is immensely significant as much as other industries. Because consumers are spending proportionally more money on experiential and emotional needs and less on basics such as food, housing, and clothes. Cultural industry is the one that can give us 'cultural satisfaction'. Some may say the film industry is different from the game industry in genre. However, we have no difficulty in finding many common characteristics between them since we are living in the world where any content or genre cannot stand alone and contents' boundaries diversify themselves to meet consumers' demand in daily basis. The purpose of this study is to look into the impact of the film industry on the game industry and to show how these different industries can coexist successfully by creating a synergy effect.
This paper aims to explore how Millay's love sonnets rewrite the carpe diem tradition in the complicated ways. This paper redirects critical attention away from Millay's individual experience and inner self toward the scene of literary history, suggesting that there may be more historical consciousness in Millay's sentimental and feminine "gesture." Rewriting the carpe diem tradition, Millay's sonnets reveal an awareness of the dependence of the carpe diem poems' discursive logic on the woman's coyness, its inability to accomplish its triumph over woman or time (death) without her posited reluctance. Contrary to Andrew Marvel's "To His Coy Mistress," the speakers of Millay's sonnets could never be accused of the sexual coyness; they are outspoken in their defiance of both death and lovers whose possessiveness resembles death's embrace. Moreover, as Stacy Carson Hubbard points out, by converting female sexual experience from its status as a onetime closural event to repeatable one, hence an opportunity for the general and emotional irritability productive of narrative, Millay seizes for the woman the power of "dilation" in both its sexual and its verbal forms. Furthermore, this paper argues that the woman's sex no longer invites analogies to things secret and sealed, preserved or ruined in Millay's sonnets. The woman's promiscuity implies a rejection of monumentalizing love, as well as a refusal of the fixing inherent in the carpe diem's fearful invocation of the movement of time. Throughout the love sonnets, the speaker's sexualized body produces nothing but ephemera. For Millay, this body spends its powers in hopes of having them, and the force of this spending is a perpetual and willful forgetting, which makes possible the repetition of love's story. Ultimately, Milly disturbs our critical categories by rendering permeable boundaries between modern literature and dead form of classic literature, the female speaker and male speaker.
This study explores Witi Ihimaera's The Whale Rider (1987) from ecological and postcolonial perspectives. Ihimaera is one of the prominent Maori writers who have critically voiced their concerns about the fragmentation of Maori tradition and the alienation of an environmentally friendly culture in New Zealand. Throughout the novel The Whale Rider, with his mythic imagination and cultural sensitivity, Ihimaera raises ecological awareness in terms of environmental justice and promotes critical consciousness regarding sociocultural and histo-political realities of the Maori people as alienated others in their ancestors' land. Revolving around the developmental process of a young Maori girl named after a mythical Maori ancestor Kahutia Te Rangi also known as the Whale Rider to inherit the Maori leadership, the novel describes the historical, cultural, emotional landscape of the Maori community in the white-centered society of New Zealand. In particular, this paper analyzes the leaving and homing process of narrator Rawiri which is deeply embedded in Maori myth and philosophy toward an eco-friendly culture and postcolonial reality. Indeed, Ihimaera skillfully juxtaposes young man Rawiri's experience outside the Maori community and young girl Kahu's life at the Maori home. In the end, while Kahu achieves her destiny in a mythical way to foster a new vision of harmonious co-existence that is rooted in Maori heritage and compatible with Western culture, Rawiri comes to understand the interrelatedness of all existence and embraces both the rational knowledge of scientific empiricism and the traditional knowledge of spiritual experiences. The novel The Whale Rider was also turned into a film by New Zealand's most influential female film director Niki Caro in 2002, and the film Whale Rider received international acclaim.

This thesis is a study of content development utilizing media outlets to date through digital humans. The trend of global content is that the video content industry, including the character business, is growing. Lil Michela, who was selected as one of the 25 most influential people on the Internet by Time magazine in 2018, Nasua, who appeared in a SK Telecom commercial, and Rosie, who appeared in a Shinhan Bank commercial, are representative. Digital humans, which are driving new content, are computer-generated human characters with various characteristics and are referred to as virtual humans, metahumans, and cyber humans. With the rise of the metaverse after COVID-19, digital humans are being utilized in various forms such as media and marketing as an element of visual content. In the form of media, we can see that the boundaries between the offline and digital worlds are converging, and in the form of marketing, we can see that digital humans connect consumers and products more naturally. In the form of interaction, it is possible to achieve two-way communication through various methods of operation, and through these factors, it is possible to go beyond behavioral communication in the form of memorialization to emotional communication through AI technology. What can be seen through these processes is that through the currently developing digital human production methods and AI functions, not only experts but also non-experts can create quality contents, and new directions of contents will appear, and contents that can provide immediate feedback by bringing consumers and creators closer together have been studied.
