Compound Noun Decomposition by using Syllable-based Embedding and Deep Learning (음절 단위 임베딩과 딥러닝 기법을 이용한 복합명사 분해)

  • Traditional compound noun decomposition algorithms often face challenges of decomposing compound nouns into separated nouns when unregistered unit noun is included. It is very difficult for those traditional approach to handle such issues because it is impossible to register all existing unit nouns into the dictionary such as proper nouns, coined words, and foreign words in advance. In this paper, in order to solve this problem, compound noun decomposition problem is defined as tag sequence labeling problem and compound noun decomposition method to use syllable unit embedding and deep learning technique is proposed. To recognize unregistered unit nouns without constructing unit noun dictionary, compound nouns are decomposed into unit nouns by using LSTM and linear-chain CRF expressing each syllable that constitutes a compound noun in the continuous vector space.

Novel Extraction Method for Unknown Chip PDN Using De-Embedding Technique (De-Embedding 기술을 이용한 IC 내부의 전원분배망 추출에 관한 연구)

  • GDS format files, as well as layout of the chip are noticeably needed so as to analyze the PDN (Power Delivery Network) inside of IC; however, commercial IC in the market has not supported design information which is layout of IC. Within this, in terms of IC having on-chip PDN, characteristic of inside PDN of the chip is a core parameter to predict generated noise from power/ground planes. Consequently, there is a need to scrutinize extraction method for unknown PDN of the chip in this paper. To extract PDN of the chip without IC circuit information, the de-embedding test vehicle is fabricated based on IEC62014-3. Further more, the extracted inside PDN of chip from de-embedding technique adopts the Co-simulation model which composes PCB, QFN (Quad-FlatNo-leads) Package, and Chip for the PDN, applied Co-simulation model well corresponds with impedance from measured S-parameters up to 4 GHz at common measured and simulated points.

  • Example based Super Resolution(SR) is using the correspondence between the low and high resolution image from a database. This method uses only one image to estimate a high resolution image and can get the larger image than 2 times. Example based SR is proposed to solve the problem of classical SR. Neighbor embedding(NE) has been inspired by manifold learning method, particularly locally linear embedding. However, the poor generalization of NE decreases the performance of such algorithm. The sizes of local training sets are always too small to improve the performance of NE. We propose the advanced NE baesd on SVR having an excellent generalization ability to solve this problem. Given a low resolution image, we estimate a pixel in its high resolution version by using SVR based NE. Through experimental results, we quantitatively and qualitatively confirm the improved results of the proposed algorithm when comparing with conventional interpolation methods and NE.

Embedding a Signature to Pictures under Wavelet Transformation (웨이브렛변환을 이용한 영상으로의 서명데이터 삽입)

  • This paper is to suggest the method of embedding a signature to pictures secretly under the orthogonal wavelet transform which represents pictures as multi-resolution representations. As it is focused upon the differential output under the multi-resolution representation of pictures, this method can embed bit series to pictures. In doing so, it can compound approximately 6K byte of information with gray-level image $256{\times}256$. The method can include not only the database which designates copyright of pictures but also the author and usage of pictures, and the information of the picture itself. Therefore, this method can easily discriminate the inspection of picture database.

  • The World Health Organization (WHO) and other government agencies aroundthe world have warned against antibiotic-resistant bacteria due to abuse of antibiotics and are strengthening their care and monitoring to prevent infection. However, it is highly necessary to develop an expeditious and accurate prediction and estimating method for preemptive measures. Because it takes several days to cultivate the infecting bacteria to identify the infection, quarantine and contact are not effective to prevent spread of infection. In this study, the disease diagnosis and antibiotic prescriptions included in Electronic Health Records were embedded through neural embedding model and matrix factorization, and deep learning based classification predictive model was proposed. The f1-score of the deep learning model increased from 0.525 to 0.617when embedding information on disease and antibiotics, which are the main causes of antibiotic resistance, added to the patient's basic information and hospital use information. And deep learning model outperformed the traditional machine hospital use information. And deep learning model outperformed the traditional machine learning models.As a result of analyzing the characteristics of antibiotic resistant patients, resistant patients were more likely to use antibiotics in J01 than nonresistant patients who were diagnosed with the same diseases and were prescribed 6.3 times more than DDD.

User Sentiment Analysis on Amazon Fashion Product Review Using Word Embedding (워드 임베딩을 이용한 아마존 패션 상품 리뷰의 사용자 감성 분석)

  • In the modern society, the size of the fashion market is continuously increasing both overseas and domestic. When purchasing a product through e-commerce, the evaluation data for the product created by other consumers has an effect on the consumer's decision to purchase the product. By analysing the consumer's evaluation data on the product the company can reflect consumer's opinion which can leads to positive affect of performance to company. In this paper, we propose a method to construct a model to analyze user's sentiment using word embedding space formed by learning review data of amazon fashion products. Experiments were conducted by learning three SVM classifiers according to the number of positive and negative review data using the formed word embedding space which is formed by learning 5.7 million Amazon review data.. Experimental results showed the highest accuracy of 88.0% when learning SVM classifier using 50,000 positive review data and 50,000 negative review data.

Face Image Synthesis using Nonlinear Manifold Learning (비선형 매니폴드 학습을 이용한 얼굴 이미지 합성)

  • This paper proposes to synthesize facial images from a few parameters for the pose and the expression of their constituent components. This parameterization makes the representation, storage, and transmission of face images effective. But it is difficult to parameterize facial images because variations of face images show a complicated nonlinear manifold in high-dimensional data space. To tackle this problem, we use an LLE (Locally Linear Embedding) technique for a good representation of face images, where the relationship among face images is preserving well and the projected manifold into the reduced feature space becomes smoother and more continuous. Next, we apply a snake model to estimate face feature values in the reduced feature space that corresponds to a specific pose and/or expression parameter. Finally, a synthetic face image is obtained from an interpolation of several neighboring face images in the vicinity of the estimated feature value. Experimental results show that the proposed method shows a negligible overlapping effect and creates an accurate and consistent synthetic face images with respect to changes of pose and/or expression parameters.

  • In this paper, we composed chaos mobile robot by embedding many type of chaos circuit including Arnold Equation and Chua's Equation and proposed method of evaluation of obstacles when it meets or approaches an obstacle while the mobile robot searches an any plane with chaos trajectory and method of concentrating search when it faces target and verified these results. For obstacles avoidance, we developed algorithm that evades an obstacles with chaos trajectory by assuming fixed obstacle, obstacles using VDP model, hidden obstacles using BVP model as obstacles and for searching an object, we developed algorithm of searching with a chaos trajectory by assuming BVP model as an object, verified the results and confirmed reasonability of them.

A Novel Approach of Feature Extraction for Analog Circuit Fault Diagnosis Based on WPD-LLE-CSA

  • The rapid development of large-scale integrated circuits has brought great challenges to the circuit testing and diagnosis, and due to the lack of exact fault models, inaccurate analog components tolerance, and some nonlinear factors, the analog circuit fault diagnosis is still regarded as an extremely difficult problem. To cope with the problem that it's difficult to extract fault features effectively from masses of original data of the nonlinear continuous analog circuit output signal, a novel approach of feature extraction and dimension reduction for analog circuit fault diagnosis based on wavelet packet decomposition, local linear embedding algorithm, and clone selection algorithm (WPD-LLE-CSA) is proposed. The proposed method can identify faulty components in complicated analog circuits with a high accuracy above 99%. Compared with the existing feature extraction methods, the proposed method can significantly reduce the quantity of features with less time spent under the premise of maintaining a high level of diagnosing rate, and also the ratio of dimensionality reduction was discussed. Several groups of experiments are conducted to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

  • The local prediction method utilizing embedding vector loses the prediction power when the parameter r estimation is not exact for predicting the chaos time series induced from the high order differential equation. In spite of the fact that there have been a lot of suggestions regarding how to estimate the delay time ($\tau$), no specific method is proposed to apply to any time series. The inclinded linear model, which utilizes inclinded netter, yields satisfying degree of prediction power without estimating exact delay time ($\tau$). The usefulness of this approach has been indicated not only theoretically but also in practical situation when the method w8s applied to economical time series analysis.
