PZT 세라믹스의 전기기계결합계수 온도 안정성에 관한 연구 (Temperature Stability of Electro-mechanical Coupling Factors of PZT Ceramics)

  • In this paper, PZT piezoelectric ceramic specimens with 4 compositions (Zr/Ti=50/50, 53/47, 56/44, 58/42) in $Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3$ system were fabricated. We studied effects of poling strength and thermal aging on the temperature characteristics of eletromechanical coupling factor k31 of the specimens, which were poled with the DC electric fields, 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 kV/mm respectively and thermally aged for an hour at $200^{\circ}C$. The eletromechanical coupling factor k31 of the specimen with the composition Zr/Ti= 53/47, nearest to the morphotropic phase boundary decreased the most greatly, irrelevant to the intensity of poling field, due to 1st thermal aging. And the temperature coefficient of eletromechanical coupling factor k31 was (-) in the tetragonal phase composition and (+) in the rhombohedral phase composition, which is reverse in the temperature coefficient of resonance frequency. It is interesting that eletromechanical coupling factor k31 of PZT ceramics is shown to be able to increase as temperature increase in the interval $-20{\sim}80^{\circ}C$.

PCN 치환이 PMN-PZT 세라믹스에 유전 및 압전특성에 미치는 영향 (The effect of PCN substitution on dielectric and piezoelectric properties of PMN-PZT Ceramics)

  • In this study, to develop the composition ceramics for the Ultrasonic vibrator, $Pb(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3Pb(Zr.Ti)O_3$ system ceramics were manufactured as a function of PCN substitution. Its dielectric and piezoelectric characteristics were investigated. With increasing the amount of PCN substitution, electromechanical coupling factor(kp) were increased until 3mol% PCN and that after decreased. mechanical quality factor(Qm) showed the maxinum value at 2mol% PCN. Eletromechanical coupling factor, mechanical quality factor and dielectric constant were showed optimum value at PCN 2mol% as 0.58, 1630 and 1407, respectively for ultrasonic vibrator applications.

  • In this paper, effect of MnO$_2$ addition(0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5wt%) on the microstructure, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of [xPMW - (0.15-x) PNN] - [yPT-(0.85-y)PZ] (x=0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.05, y = 0.35, 0.40, ().425, 0.45, 0.5) were investigated. When Ti/Zr ratio was 1.0, dielectric and piezoelectric properties were highest value. With PMW 2mol%, dielectric constant, dielectric constant (d$\_$33/, d$\_$31/) and electromechanical coupling factor (kp, k$\_$31/) were highest values of 1995, 479, 186(x10$\^$-12/C/N), 0.61, 0.36, respectively. With the addition of MnO$_2$, dielectric constant, electromechanical coupling factor (kp, k$\_$31/) were decreased, but with 0.3wt% MnO$_2$, eletromechanical coupling factor was highest value of 0.63. With the addition of MnO$_2$, mechanical quality(Q$\_$m/ was increased.

Bi2O3 첨가량에 따른 저온소결 PbTiO3계 세라믹스의 유전 및 압전특성 (Dielectric and Piezoelectric Characteristics of Low Temperature Sintering PbTiO3 System Ceramics with amount of Bi2O3 Addition)

  • In this study, in order to develop low temperature sintering ceramics for thickness vibration mode multilayer piezoelectric transformer, $PbTiO_3$ system ceramics were fabricated using $Na_2CO_3,\;Li_2CO_3,\;MnO_2\;and\;Bi_2O_3$ as sintering aids and their dielectric and piezoeletric properties were investigated according to the amount of $Bi_2O_3$ addition. At the sintering temperature of $900^{\circ}C\;and\;Bi_2O_3$ addition of 0.1 wt%, density, grain size, thickness vibration mode eletromechanical coupling factor($k_t$), thickness vibration mode mechanical quality factor($Q_{mt}$) and dielecteic constant(${\varepsilon}_r$) showed the optimum value of $6.94g/cm^3,\;2.413{\mu}m$, 0.497, 3,162 and 209, respectively, for thickness vibration mode multilayer piezoelectric transformer application.
