By using the Triboelectric nanogenerators, known as TENG, we can take advantages of high conversion efficiency and continuous power output even with small vibrating energy sources. Nonlinear energy extraction techniques for Triboelectric vibration energy harvesting usually requires synchronized active electronic switches in most electronic interface circuits. This study presents a nonlinear energy harvesting with high energy conversion efficiency to harvest and save energies from human active motions. Moreover, the proposed design can harvest and store energy from sway motions around different directions on a horizontal plane efficiently. Finally, we conducted a comparative analysis of a multi-mode energy storage board developed by a silicon-based piezoelectricity and a transparent TENG cell. As a result, the experiment showed power generation of about 49.2mW/count from theses multi-fully harvesting source with provision of stable energy storages.
This paper consists of two parts: In the first part, we describe our work to build hierarchical knowledge base of digital library patron's research interests and learning topics in various scholarly areas through analyzing well classified Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) of NDLTD Union catalog. Journal articles from ACM Transactions and conference web sites of computing areas also are added in the analysis to specialize computing fields. This hierarchical knowledge base would be a useful tool for many social computing and information service applications, such as personalization, recommender system, text mining, technology opportunity mining, information visualization, and so on. In the second part, we compare four grouping algorithms to select best one for our data mining researches by testing each one with the hierarchical knowledge base we described in the first part. From these two studies, we intent to show traditional verification methods for social community miming researches, based on interviewing and answering questionnaires, which are expensive, slow, and privacy threatening, can be replaced with systematic, consistent, fast, and privacy protecting methods by using our suggested hierarchical knowledge base.

Treatment for cerebral blood flows is one of the most important treatments for cerebral infarction. There is a concern that the increasing number of cerebral blood flow treatments can cause multiple complications as it is invasive. To compensate for these problems, recently non-invasive cerebral blood flow increases have emerged. However, the current implementation of the non-invasive cerebral blood flow sensor raises the question of speed and accuracy. In this theses, the system aims to minimize the final cortical damage to the cerebrum by implementing a system in a completely different manner to complement the disadvantages of the existing non-invasive cerebral blood flow device. The system measure the PI of the limbs while simultaneously pressing limbs. Blood flow rate is carried out indirectly by increasing blood flow to peer pressure through the limbs in which the PI eips below a certain level. This can be used selectively in patients to increase blood flow.
The overall size of electronic product is becoming small according to development of technology. Accordingly it is difficult to inspect these small components by human eyes. So, an automation system for inspecting them has been used. The existing system put microprocessor or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) use. The structure of microprocessor-based controller and PLC use basically composed of memory devices such as ROM, RAM and I/O ports. Accordingly, the system is not only becomes complicated and enlarged but also higher price. In this paper, we implement FPGA-based One-chip Programmable Timing Controller for Inspecting Small components to resolve above problems and design the high performance controller by using VHDL. With fast development, the FPGA of high capacity that can have memory and PLL have been introduced. By using the high-capacity FPGA, the peripherals of the existent controller, such as memory, I/O ports can be implemented in one FPGA. By doing this, because the complicated system can be simplified, the noise and power dissipation problems can be minimized and it can have the advantage in price. Since the proposed controller is organized to have internal register, counter, and software routines for generating timing signals, users do not have to problem the details about timing signals and need to only send some values about an inspection system through an RS232C port. By selecting theses values appropriate for a given inspection system, desired timing signals can be generated.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of uncertainty, physiological risk factors, self-efficacy, and self-management among stroke patients and to identify factors influencing their self-management. Methods: A descriptive correlational design was used for this study. A convenience sample of 149 patients with stroke were enrolled at C national university hospital from February to April in 2016. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and electronic medical record. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlations, and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: There were significant negative correlations between uncertainty and self-efficacy (r=-.56, p<.001); between uncertainty and self-management (r=-.56, p<.001); and between total cholesterol and self-management (r=-.23, p=.005). There were significant positive correlations between self-efficacy and self-management (r=.78, p<.001); between uncertainty and total cholesterol (r=.24, p=.003). The significant factors influencing self-management were uncertainty and self-efficacy. Theses variables explained 62.7% of the variance in self-management. Conclusion: The results suggest that intervention programs to reduce the level of uncertainty and to increase the level of self-efficacy among patients would improve the self-management of stroke patients.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the information needs and information seeking behavior of foreign students. A survey method was used for the undertaken study. The data were collected using a structured questionnaire, self-administered to 120 foreign students (60 males & 60 females) with 88 (47 males & 41 females) returns. The research is limited to post-graduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. foreign students in University of Delhi. It was found that post-graduate students need information regarding their program of study while research scholars need information for writing research articles and for doing their research work. Most of them seek information through the internet. Research scholars used electronic resources such as databases, e-journals and e-theses and dissertations. 88.6% of the respondents also use books for seeking information. Their use of the library is limited with complaints about library staff and too few computer terminals. The present study will be helpful in designing new systems and services for the foreign students so that their information needs can be fulfilled easily. Further, findings of the study indicate that how the library professionals should assist foreign students to accomplish their information needs.

This research paper presents the use of different forms of literature by the PhD researchers of the Department of Political Science and the Department of Public Administration, Punjabi University, Patiala. It is assessed by analyzing the resources cited in the PhD theses awarded by Punjabi University, Patiala during 2015-2019. The different bibliographic forms of the references have been analyzed in order to find out the year-wise submission, average citations per thesis, authorship pattern, chronology, use of electronic resources, and format of citations in both the subjects under study. It has been found in this study that average citations per thesis in Political Science is more (200.53) than Public Administration (160.6). Books are most preferred form in both the subjects. Majority of the citations in both the subjects are from the period 2000-2009. Ranked list of journals for both the subjects have been prepared to identify core journals. The core journals in both the subjects are 9. Bradford Multipliers have been calculated and application of Bradford Law of Scattering has also been tested for both the subjects. It is expected that the present study will help librarians in selecting, retaining and cancelling the existing journals in Political Science and Public Administration.

ENC(Electronic Navigational Chart) is an electronic chart that digitize nautical chart including all kinds of information of nautical chart. Mariners have difficulty reading information because of clutter problem if display scale of ECDIS is lower than compilation scale of ENCs. IHO made SCAMIN improvement model included in S-65 Standard to settle this ENC clutter problem. This SCAMIN model includes both simple restriction that should safety some requirement and share geographic information. and hard restriction that should overlap with area object such as depth area, land area, dredge area. It also apply SCAMIN step of sounding value according to importance of safety navigation. In this paper, we analyzed the restrictions for SCAMIN model of S-65 Standard, developed algorithm and application to apply theses restrictions reasonably and mechanically. Also we applied this algorithm and application to Korea ENCs and evaluated the result of performance.

Gregorian offset dual-shaped reflector antennas have been widely used in the satellite communication systems for their high gain and low sidelobe characteristics. However, in this paper, it is designed as the CATR(Compact Antenna Test Range) reflector system, and its near-field characteristics are investigated. The CATR facility needs to provide an uniform plane wave with the minimum amplitude and phase ripple and the low cross polarization to the test region. Therefore, the reflector near-field patterns are calculated and presented with the variations of the aperture power distribution, the feed horn pattern, and the distance from the aperture to the test zone. Also, the offset dual-shaped reflector is fabricated at 30 GHz, and its near-field patterns are measured. The measured results are in good agreement with the calculated results. From theses results, we confirm that the designed offset dual-shaped reflector can be used as the reflector system for the compact antenna test range.
