  • This paper describes the design and fabrication of a Risk Voltage Meter (RVM) which can analyze the step and touch voltages in grounding systems. The meter consists of a sine-wave power source which generates up to 300 [$V_{rms}$] in ranges of 45 [Hz]~1 [kHz], a 8 Ch. data acquisition module, and a personal computer. Also, a noise elimination method by a digital band-pass filter during measurement is proposed.

On-Line 및 Off-Line 상태에 따른 누설 전류 진단 분석 (Analysis of Leakage Current Diagnosis According to Online and Offline Conditions)

  • When the clamp meter approaches the electric path where current is flowing, leakage current can be measured at a distance from the electric current because the induced current increases as the magnitude of the current increases and approaches nearer to the electric path. Therefore, measurements were carried out from a distance to avoid this effect. In addition, the measured values differ depending on the location of the power line that penetrates the ZCT of the clamp meter, thus measurements were performed at a location where this effect was minimized. The fraction of compliant branch circuits, whose leakage current was lower than 1.00 mA, was found to be 69.0% out of the total of 439 branch circuits, while the percentage of compliant branch circuits having an insulation resistance higher than $0.20M{\Omega}$ was found to be 93.2%. The reason why the percentage of compliant branch circuits with low leakage current was low might be due to the inclusion of capacitive leakage current in the total measured leakage current.

LSTM과 GRU 딥러닝 IoT 파워미터 기반의 단기 전력사용량 예측 (Short-term Power Consumption Forecasting Based on IoT Power Meter with LSTM and GRU Deep Learning)

  • 본 연구에서는 Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) 신경망과 Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU) 신경망을 Internet of Things (IoT) 파워미터에 적용하여 단기 전력사용량 예측방법을 제안하고, 실제 가정의 전력사용량 데이터를 토대로 예측 성능을 분석한다. 성능평가 지표로써 Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), Mean Percentage Error (MPE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE)를 이용한다. 실험 결과는 GRU 기반의 모델이 LSTM 기반의 모델에 비해 MAPE 기준으로 4.52%, MPE 기준으로 5.59%만큼의 성능개선을 보였다.

  • The effect of high irradiation on inspection systems in a nuclear power plant can be severe, especially to electronic components such as control hoards. The effect may lead to a critical malfunction or trouble to a underwater robot for inspection and maintenance of nuclear reactor. However, if information on the total accumulated dose on the sensitive parts of the robot is available, a prediction of robot's behavior in radiation environments becomes possible. To know how much radiation the robot has encountered, a dosimeter to measure the total accumulated dose is necessary. This paper describes the development effort of a dual radiation monitoring system using a SiC diode as a dose-rate meter and a p-type power MOSFET as a dose meter. This attempt using two sensors which detect same radiation improves reliability and stability at high intensity radiation detection in nuclear facilities. It uses the concept of diversity and redundancy.

ANSI C12.22 국제 통신 프로토콜이 적용된 스마트미터 개발 (Development of a Smart meter Applying the ANSI C12.22 International Communication Protocols)

  • 본 논문에서는 국제 통신 프로토콜이 적용된 스마트미터를 개발하였다. 스마트미터는 전력 공급 사업자와의 데이터 교환을 위해 양방향 통신 및 제어 기술, 전기 기기의 등록 및 해제를 위한 통신 프로토콜이 요구된다. 스마트미터의 통신 프로토콜은 미국과 유럽을 중심으로 표준화가 진행되고 있으며, 본 논문에서 제안하는 스마트미터의 통신 프로토콜은 북미방식인 ANSI C12.22 표준을 채택하여 적용하였다. 스마트미터는 또한 전력 사용자에게도 실시간으로 소비 전력 정보와 요금 정보를 제공해야 하며, 사용자는 이 정보를 바탕으로 적절하게 수요반응을 할 수 있어야한다. 본 논문에서는 스마트미터에서 측정되는 전력량이 실시간으로 사용자에게도 보고될 수 있도록 하였으며, IHD(In Home Display)를 윈도우즈 소프트웨어로 구현하여 개발된 스마트미터와의 연동을 실현하였다.

  • A low voltage circuit breaker protects electrical equipments from over current and short faults of system by cutting the power supply. The breaker use a thermal magnetic type trip device from the past. In recent years, electronic type relays are applied due to useful functions and services. The purpose of this development is full digitalizing of relay functions of a low voltage breaker. It includes separation of current sensor from current transformer, digital signal processing, high speed relaying, and voltage measuring for power meter. The suggestions are tested and implemented by making prototype and testing its all relay functions.

프로그램 로직 기반의 스마트 최대 전력 관리 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Programmable Logic-based Smart Peak Power Control System)

  • The paper is related to smart maximum power system based on program logic. Especially, this system compares the total demand power with the target power by using the signal from the digital kilo watt meter. Based on the power information by the maximum power control equipment the consumed future power is anticipated. In addition, through consumed future power the controllable target power is set, and it applies on the maximum power control equipment. User or manager would control the load efficiently through the simple programming which could control load based on the control sequence and relay. To begin with the conventional maximum power control algorithm is surveyed, and the smart maximum power control system based on program logic is used, and the new algorithm from full load to proportion shut down is proposed by using PLC program. the validity of the proposed control scheme is investigated by both simulation results.

  • We were fabricated of rf power resisotor on AlN substrates by thick film process. The characteristics of capacitance and microwave are measured by digital LCR meter and Network analyzer(HP8532D). The results are shown that capacitances are slight greater and microwave characteristics are good values.

  • In this study, we have investigated electrical properties of semiconductive materials for power cable caused by copper tape shield structure. Volume resistivity of specimens was measured by volume resistivity meter after 10 minutes in the pre-heated oven of both 23 [$^{\circ}C$] and 90 [$^{\circ}C$]. From this experimental results, the volume resistivity had different properties because of PTC/NTC tendency at between 23 [$^{\circ}C$] and 90 [$^{\circ}C$].
