Up to recently, information service have emphasized mainly on efficiencies of information collection, storage, process. But, now, many people take interest in criteria and evaluation on quality of information itself and its services because of growth of electronic materials and development of telecommunication. Especially, since the greater part of infomation is made gradually digital format, quality of information service regards as of great importance. This study attempts to investigate the quality problem in information services and its a n.0, pplication. Also, to su n.0, pport high quality, it is needed criteria of information services to evaluate and measure. To understand quality of information services, This articles deal with concept of quality on information related sector, quality management, the reason of importance of information quality, quality work of information services. There is little method to measure and evaluate quality of internet services. So it is necessary to study on internet quality, user's selection on its quality, and development on high quality site.

고속으로 주행하는 차량으로부터 차량의 일시정지함이 없이 자동으로 통행요금을 징수하기 위한 ETC(Electronic Toll Collection, 통행요금자동징수)서비스는 전용의 무선통신방식, 전자지불수단, 암호화, 영상인식, 실시간제어등의 다양한 기술을 필요로 한다. KT ETC 시스템은 능동형 DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication, 단거리전용통신)를 이용한 상용의 ETC 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 KT ETC 시스템의 개발과 관련하여 핵심 기술인 능동형 DSRC와 ETC 서비스를 위한 스마트카드 기술등을 소개하고, KT ETC 시스템에 고유한 ETC 서비스 처리절차를 소개한다.

The objective of this study is to move the initiative of children's electronic books from portal sites to libraries and to help improving libraries' information services through their systematic study. The present use state of an e-book site for children that is currently serviced by A-academic library was mainly analyzed for the study. The desirable acquisition policies were also suggested for the activation of the juvenile e-book services for libraries.

A plasma is a collection of charged particles and on average is electrically neutral. In fabricating integrated circuits, plasma etching is a key means to transfer a photoresist pattern into an underlayer material. To construct a predictive model of plasma-etching processes, a polynomial neural network (PNN) is applied. This process was characterized by a full factorial experiment, and two attributes modeled are its etch rate and DC bias. According to the number of input variables and type of polynomials to each node, the prediction performance of the PNN was optimized. The various performances of the PNN in diverse environments were compared to three types of statistical regression models and the adaptive network fuzzy inference system (ANFIS). As the demonstrated high-prediction ability in the simulation results shows, the PNN is efficient and much more accurate from the point of view of approximation and prediction abilities.

GILS is decentralized collection of locators and associated information services used by the public either directly or through intermediaries to find information. This standard specifies how electronic network searches can be experessed and how results are returned. GILS is an innovative network approach to assist user in locating information resoruces. This thesis proposes architecture of GILS. First, we study fundamental implementation technologies by the way of GILS and Z39.50 protocol. And then, after surveying GILs related technologies we introduce web-based GILS implementation. This study failed to implement GILS in commercial sector, but have an impliction to raise further research issue.

새로운 세기를 맞이하면서 이제 새삼 IT(Information Technology: 정보기술)가 주목을 받고 있다. 급속한 기세로 세계에 퍼진 인터넷이 정보의 흐름과 ''물건''의 움직임을 크게 바꾸려 하고 있기 때문이다. 외출지나 자동차 등의 이동환경에서도 휴대전화를 통하여 언제든지, 어디서나, 간단하게 인터넷 접속이 가능하게 되어 바야흐로 시간과 공간을 초월한 본격적인 네트워크사회를 맞이하려 하고 있다. 모바일 단말과 정보통신인프라의 발전은 네트워크에 의한 정보취득이나 전자상거래 등의 새로운 정보서비스를 창출하여 라이프사이클의 변화도 일으키고 있다. 한편 자동차를 둘러싼 정보통신환경은 카 내비게이션 등의 차재 정보단말과 함께 발전해가고 있다. FM다중, 광비컨, 전파비컨을 통한 VICS(Cehicle Information and Communication Systems: 도로교통정보통신 시스템)와 휴대전화를 통한 인터넷 접속, 자동차를 위한 정보제공서비스는 이미 실용화되고, 특히 노차간 통신전용 DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication: 협성통신)를 통해 유료도로에서 요금을 자동으로 징수하는 ETC(Electronic Toll Collection: 자동요금 징수시스템)의 실용화가 임박하고 있다. 앞으로는 IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunications-2000) 차세대휴대전화와 디지털방송서비스 등 보다 더 새로워진 정보통신 고속화$\cdot$고품질화가 기대되고 있으며, 이것들을 조합한 복합미디어에 의해 가까운 장래에는 차내에서도 다양한 정보제공서비스를 받아서 누릴 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

The database integration is being emphasized to one way of the companies collaboration. To database integration, companies are use like one database what their own, it can be provided more efficient service to customer. However, there exist some difficulty to database integration. that is the database security and database heterogeneity problems. In this paper, we proposed the MapReduce based p2p DBaaS hub system to solve database heterogeneity problem. The proposed system provides an environment for companies in the P2P cloud to integrate a database of each other. The proposed system uses DBaaS Hub for a collection of data in the P2P cloud, and use MapReduce for integrating the collected data.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship among management strategic type, QR system adoption and the usage level of technologies. Also the current situation about the management strategies for the Korean apparel manufacturers was examined in this study. A random sample of 102 apparel manufacturers was selected for the data collection. A survey method was used with the structured questionnaire, and for the data analysis, chi-square test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range tests were used. The resets were as following: 1. The most identified strategic type among Korean apparel manufacturers was analyzer and the defender. 2. The most frequently used technologies were small lot orders and the reduction in the inventory level, and the least used technologies were the electronic order system and UPS. 3. The management strategic type was significantly related to the adoption and the usage level of technologies.

Genomic approach produces massive amount of data within a short time period, New high-throughput automatic sequencers can generate over a million nucleotide sequence information overnight. A typical DNA chip experiment produces tens of thousands expression information, not to mention the tens of megabyte image files, These data must be handled automatically by computer and stored in electronic database, Thus there is a need for systematic approach of data collection, processing, and analysis. DNA sequence information is translated into amino acid sequence and is analyzed for key motif related to its biological and/or biochemical function. Functional genomics will play a significant role in identifying novel drug targets and diagnostic markers for serious diseases. As an enabling technology for functional genomics, bioinformatics is in great need worldwide, In Korea, a new functional genomics project has been recently launched and it focuses on identi☞ing genes associated with cancers prevalent in Korea, namely gastric and hepatic cancers, This involves gene discovery by high throughput sequencing of cancer cDNA libraries, gene expression profiling by DNA microarray and proteomics, and SNP profiling in Korea patient population, Our bioinformatics team will support all these activities by collecting, processing and analyzing these data.

The purpose of this study is to improve the academic information flow systems in university environment. The study explored various aspects of academic research flow systems, such as national standards and rules for digital library of electronic theses and dissertations, and national information infrastructure for digital data collection, management flow system through networks. Based on the analysis of current situations, the study developed the procedures and systems for digitalizing, collecting, processing, archiving, and providing of graduate research works.
