There is currently much interest in the development of instruments that emulate the senses of humans. Increasingly, there is demand for mimicking the human sense of smell, which is a sophisticated chemosensory system. An electronic nose system is applicable to a large area of industries including environmental monitoring. We have designed a protable electronic nose system using an array of commercial chemical gas sensors for recognizing and analyzing the various odours. In this paper, we have implemented a portable electronic nose system using an array of gas sensors for recognizing and analyzing VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) in the field. The accuracy of a portable electronic nose system may be lower than an instrument such as GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer). However, a portable electronic nose system could be used on the field and showed fast response to pollutants in the field. Several different algorithms for odours recognition were used such as BP (Back-Propagation) or LM-BP (Levenberq-Marquardt Back-Propagation). We applied RBF (Radial Basis Function) Network for recognition and quantifying of odours, which has simpler and faster compared to the previously used algorithms such as BP and LM-BP.

There are increasing needs for an individual or enterprise to interchange documents electronically through communication network to enhance the efficiency of business, owing to rapid process of transactions. But e-commerce encounters the problems regarding the handling the electronic documents, that is to say, deposit and proof of the electronic documents. This paper deals with Authorized Electronic Data Depot as an integrated system for processing, relaying and proving documents that. Authorized Electronic Data Depot operates as e-enabler in exchanging documents in trust among administrative agencies and a comprehensive government directory, digital government seal certification system and DNS system. Authorized Electronic Data Depot leads public and private sectors to save the paper-related costs. But the regulations concerning an authorized electronic data depot is introduced in the course of revision of Electronic Transactions Act. The purpose of this paper is to suggest some guidelines in legalizing the authorized electronic data depot.

Electronic transaction using electronic documents be carried without direct person to person meeting, there is the possibility to use other's identity illegally without notice and to verity authenticity of transaction. It is very hard to find out that the electronic documents on the process of submitting is forged documents or not and also has much difficulty in maintaining transmitting secret. Therefore, to solve such problems on electronic transactions, certification system with cryptography skill are inevitably necessary. Also there is needed legal base in the electronic document as functional equivalent of the paper document. Recently there are so many commercial certification service provider(CPS) such as Identrus, Bolero, TEDI but their establishment of CPS, certification process, guideline and so on are different each CPS. Therefore, this kind of situation can make user confuse. To introduce and develop the electronic certification in the international electronic commerce not domestic electronic commerce, it need to authorize and operate certification authority under the uniform regulation base. But, because the laws and guidelines that related to electronic certification system are different among the nations and international organizations, it need to compare laws and guidelines. In conclusion, the most important thing to resolve problems surrounded certification and develope certification system in the international electronic commerce make uniform rule of international electronic certification to recognize internationally from each nation or at least, need to harmony laws and guideline in each nations.

Objectives: In this study, diagnosis of an ontology-based electronic chart system works by presenting a model electronic chart system is contributing to the standardization and objectification in Oriental Medicine field. Methods: The clinic is currently used in the electronic chart, and use surveys and research utilization was diagnosed. In addition, the symptoms with medicines, prescriptions, patterns ontology data, information, relationships between the association was derived. electronic chart the flow of information from the input data stream was defined using the ontology. Medicines, prescriptions, patterns diagnosis ontology, using the process model presented in the electronic chart. Results: This study show that interoperable model within the diagnostic capabilities of the electronic chart system in Oriental Medicine and represent diagnosis process in the system with symptoms. Conclusions: Diagnosed with symptoms of ontology integration with electronic chart to study the model was placed goal. Diagnosis and prescription due to strong associative connection implies an ontology can be seen even more important. Diagnostic elements will be added to enhance the diagnostic capabilities in the electronic chart can be varied and objective diagnostic model can be presented. This study extends the range for the CDSS, and new areas of research can be presented.

In this paper, we suggest a system architecture for korean air traffic control system through investigating a korean ARTS (Automated radar terminal system) and ACC (Area control center) system. We focus on designing a network architecture for supporting both an approaching control and an area control. This paper will be a base for developing korean air traffic control system by ourselves.

In this paper an attempt is made to understand contribution factors in the field of electronic commerce(EC). To do that, we adopt and modify an existing commerce model. The following two major conclusions are drawn from our simulation. Most of all, the diminution of information delay introduce monotonous growth rather than fluctuation of EC market. The stable increase of revenue or market scale makes us decide the employment or capacity scale quickly. Second, for favorable and continuous evolution of EC, utilization system of electronic money should be established steadily. The following findings strongly support our claim: We found full oscillation of EC market when electronic money system didn't established well. On the contrary, if electronic money system could provide fast cash flow and fully trustful function, decisions of company or consumer would be executed promptly.

As the world-wide use of the Internet increases rapidly due to development of computer network the Electronic Commerce for business by treating it is growing as compared to the traditional one for the information exchange in the academic and research areas. The Electronic Payment System used for EC includes the Payment Broker System and the Electronic Purse System. And usually Electronic Purse System operates with IC cards. Saving the money in IC card has a high portability and security. Therefore, the Electronic purse System based on IC card is recently issued in the EC. In this paper, we design and implement of a IC card security system for Common Electronic Purse Specifications in Internet. CEPS is a Electronic Purse System proposed VISA, and conform EMV(Europay Mastercard VISA) security structure. With our system, users easily use Electronic Purse System with only Web browser and IC card. Original EMV paid no regard to using in the Internet. But our system, conforming to CEPS and EMV, is easily used in the Internet.

In the Spring of 2000, the Banking Commission of the ICC decided to appoint a working group to draft a supplement to the UCP 500 to clarify the position regarding electronic presentation under a documentary credit. Provisions was drafted to supplement its existing rules for documentary credit, that is, UCP 500. These new provisions known as Supplement to UCP 500 for Electronic Presentation was approved by the ICC Banking Commission at the beginning of November 2001 and came in force as of 1 April 2002 The eUCP covers matters such as definitions of key terms such as electronic record, electronic signature, format, paper document, received. An eUCP Credit must specify the formats in which electronic records are to be presented and if not, electronic records may be presented in any format. Electronic records may be presented separately and need not be presented at the same time. The purpose of this paper is to understand the main substance of eUCP and to facilitate the introduction of electronic letter of credit by studying the problems and revision of eUCP and new electronic UCP. The main substances of eUCP are electronic address as place for presentation of electronic records, flexibility of the formats of electronic records to be presented, endowment of the notice of completeness of presentation to the beneficiary, one electronic record satisfying one or more originals or copies of an electronic record, the electronic records to be examined including the electronic record at the hyperlink to an external system or the referenced system, no remark as to the time period for the examination of documents. The Roles of eUCP are the Promotion of the Electronic Trade, the Supply of Basis on the Uniform Rules for Electronic Letter of Credit, the introduction of Electronic Trade Model. The characteristics of eUCP are a supplement to the UCP, no address of any issues relating to the issuance or advice of Credit electronically, independence of specific technologies and developing electronic commerce system, that is, Bolero Service. The Problems of eUCP are flexibility of format of electronic record, heavy burden on the side of banks, and the problems regrading the number of presentation, the notice of completeness of presentation, no provision in regard to the time to examine the electronic records, and representation of the electronic records. In the revision of eUCP to resolve the problems, the things to be taken into consideration are as follows; the designation of the format allowing the banks to examine electronically, prohibition of the paper documents, the development of the system receiving the electronic records, the addition of the reception notice on the side of the banks, the setting of the time to examine the electronic records, the construction of the backup system or the dual processing system.

ISO 26262 is an international standard for the functional safety of electric and electronic systems in vehicles, and this standard has become a major issue in the automotive industry. In this paper, a functional safety compliant electronic control unit (ECU) for an electric power steering (EPS) system and a demonstration purposed EPS system are developed, and a software and hardware structure for a safety critical system is presented. EPS is the most recently introduced power steering technology for vehicles, and it can improve driver’s convenience and fuel efficiency. In conformity with the design process specified in ISO 26262, the Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) of an EPS system is evaluated, and hardware and software are designed based on an asymmetric dual processing unit architecture and an external watchdog. The developed EPS system effectively demonstrates the fault detection and diagnostic functions of a functional safety compliant ECU as well as the basic EPS functions.

Electronic Commerce increased rapidly according to the growing popularity of Internet. but payment system are not changed. Now main payment system of electronic commerce are credit card and cyber banking system. Then credit card has some problems safety, privacy etc, and cyber banking system has some problem also. We need new payment system to Electronic Commerce. The merit of electronic money are more capacity, more secure, more reliable, quick and easy to update, secure off-line processing, enabling technology etc than credit card and cyber banking system. And so many countries began using experiment of electronic money and our country began July KOEX building. But it has some problems (standardization, safety of payment, etc). Therefor we must make nile about electronic money in order to standardization and safety of payment. After then electronic money are used widely in electronic commerce.
