A numerical study on the cooling performance for electronic components mounted with heat sink in an electronic system has been performed. The model of electronic system consisted with lower and upper modules in which the electronic components mounted with heat sink were arrayed. To find better configuration under a given fan power for effective cooling, the cases called 'No heat sink','Both heat sinks','Lower heat sinks', and 'Upper heat sinks' were tested. The results showed that the cooling performance in 'Upper heat sinks' was the best among four cases.

A p-n junction was obtained by the deposition of an n-type ZnO thin film on a p-type Zn-doped InP substrate. The Zn-doped InP substrate has been made by the diffusion of Zn with sealed ampoule technique. The ZnO deposition process was performed by pulsed laser deposition (PLD). The p-n junction was formed and showed typical I-V characteristics. We will also discuss about the realization of an ultraviolet light-emitting diode (LED). The structure of n-ZnO/p-Zn-doped InP could be a good candidate for the realization of an ultraviolet light-emitting diode or an ultraviolet laser diode.

We have been investigated phase-change with temperature and electric field in chalcogenide Ge$_2$Sb$_2$Te$\sub$5/ thin film. T$\sub$c/(crystallization temperature) is confirmed by measuring the resistance with the varying temperature on the hotplate. We have measured I-V characteristics with Ge$_2$Sb$_2$Te$\sub$5/ chalcogenide thin film. It is compared with I-V characteristics after impress the variable pulse. The pulse has variable height and duration.

Volumetric 3D displays generate voxels to enable users to watch three-dimensional virtual objects from various angles, and they have a significant advantage over other types of 3D displays in terms of realism and the absence of vergence-accommodation conflict (VAC). By virtue of these advantages, various volumetric 3D display technologies incorporating novel approaches have been introduced competitively. As a result, the conventional classification criteria for volumetric 3D technology often fall short in categorizing these innovative methods. In this study, we present an improved classification framework capable of accommodating these new technologies. We expect that a new classification may offer some intuition to identify areas of technical deficiency and contribute to improving the technology.

As a rapid development of electronic commerce transactions in these days, the security and private protection problems became more important matters under the electronic transaction base. Because electronic transaction using electronic documents be carried without direct person to person meeting, there can be the possibility to use other's identity illegally without notice, and very hard to verify authenticity of transaction as well. In addition, it is very hard to find out that the electronic documents on the process of submitting is forged documents or not, and also have much difficulty in maintaining transmitting secret. Therefore, to solve such problems on electronic commerce transactions and electronic documents, the digital signature and certification system with cryptography skill is inevitably necessary. As the wide use of digital signature together with beginning of digital government and financial transaction, not only the issuance of electronic certification, but certification market came to gradually expand. In Korea, after enacting digital signature act in 1999, the act contents were expanded to the wide range of contents complying with global standards from the end of 2001 to April, 2002, including the new clause of certification problems. And the act was put into operation now. Therefore, in this paper, we'd like to suggest development scheme through the investigation on electronic certification related problems, such as, concepts, procedures, service conditions here and abroad.

Considering rapid development of Internet Portal Site Contents in Korea, it is an important issue to analyze consumers' satisfaction and e-loyalty. This research develops, and empirically test a model for explaining/predicting the satisfaction and e-loyalty with internet-based Electronic Trade Site. This paper describes a theoretical model for investigating the Satisfaction and e-Loyalty of the Electronic Trade Site. This study investigates the concept of the satisfaction, e-loyalty in Electronic Trade Site and its determinants, and tries to establish e-loyalty analyzing model. The model of the satisfaction, e-loyalty electronic trade site is tested here using data from 158 samples. Based on the research model, a comprehensive set of hypotheses is formulated and a methodology for testing them is outlined. some of the hypotheses are tested empirically to demonstrate the applicability of the theoretical model. In examining the relationships of the determinants factors, service quality satisfaction show in significantly by Reliability, Information Provided, Trustworthiness, Convenience, International of contents but that show in not significantly by Interaction. In addition, Electronic Trade site retention shows indirect effect between customer satisfaction and referral. Although our research can not show the determinants of e-loyalty in the electronic trade site the empirical result give both theoretical and managerial implication for managing the consumers' satisfaction and e-loyalty in electronic trade site.

This article explored the bank's responsibilities in electronic payment system between Korea and U.S.A. In order to complete my research object, I used Article 4A of the U.C.C. and EFTA of 1978 and by Electronic Financial Transaction Act of Korea as a analytic instruments. I also adapted America's various regulations to regulate concerned parties(banks). The system of this article is going to display as fellows; First, I presented recent trend and legal stabilities of electronic payment in this article. Second, I focuses on the allocation of risk of loss caused by ambiguous term in payment orders that do not express the subjective intention of the senders. I also did analyze the solution procession of error occurring in course of send of payment order. Third, In any action which involves a customers's liability for an unauthorized electronic fund transfer, the burden of proof is upon the financial institution to show that the electronic fund transfer was authorized. Forth, Customers have to report the error and unauthorized electronic fund transfer after awaring of it. Then bank will be liable for such a unauthorized electronic fund transfer. But If customer's failure to report, the bank has exemptions. Lastly, In order to prevent or detect the unauthorized electronic fund transfer, bank will agree with custom to establish a commercially reasonable security procedure, while bank has duties to notify in order to decrease the loss resulted from unauthorized payment order in korea law.

Electronic trade reduces additional costs generated from the issuing and management of paper documents, and overcomes the physical limitations of commercial transactions as well as the geographical and time limitations resulting from trading with foreign countries. These characteristics of electronic trade guarantees better and more effective global marketing for companies. In addition, by expanding relative superiority of large corporations to medium-small sized companies, many medium-small companies have shown great interest in electronic trade to promote its exporting businesses, and implementing changes to facilitate electronic trade into their business system. Therefore, it is expected that the electronic trade will be more widely distributed and utilized by businesses of all sizes in the future. The adaptation and implementation of the electronic trade system can only have prosperous effects when there is a high efficiency in the utilization and service process of the concerned company. Under this premise, this research first examined electronic trade, characteristics of the company and information utilization as the key elements to determine the effectiveness of the utility aspect. Then it examines confirmation of product demand, registration of revenues, and authorization as the key elements to determine the level of service process.

The Rotterdam Rules is the first international maritime carriage of goods Convention that acknowledge electronic records of contracts of carriage. The Rules have developed separate chapter in relation to electronic transport records' issuing, transfer, etc. This paper aims to evaluate Rotterdam Rules' contribution to the use of electronic transport records. To achieve the aims firstly this paper have examined the related articles of Rotterdam Rules, Secondly in practical aspects, this paper explores the opportunities and obstacles which could be happened in practical procedures, applicable to transport industry, shipper and holder of electronic transport records. Findings could be summarized as follows, first the Rules shows high acceptability to whom it may involved in transport industry by simplify the contents of the Rules to avoid conflict with each countries' national laws. The Rules acknowledge the functional equivalence between paper and electronic transport records in specific provisions. This could be important development to facilitate the use of electronic transport records. But the Rules have not mentioned liability limit of transport industry when the problems arise from issuing, tele-transmission, transfer of the records. And the secure of the functional equivalence between paper and electronic transport records also could be remained in uncertain regime due to different stance of each national laws.

We studied the control of pretilt angles for homeotropic aligned nematic liquid crystal (NLC) on SiOx thin film surface by $45^{\circ}$ evaporation method with electron beam system. The uniform vertical LC alignment on. the SiOx thin film surfaces with electron beam evaporation was achieved. It is considered that the LC alignment on SiOx thin film by $45^{\circ}$ electron beam evaporation is attributed to elastic interaction between LC molecules and micro-grooves at the SiOx thin film surface created by evaporation. The pretilt angles of about $3.5^{\circ}$ in aligned NLC on SiOx thin film surfaces by electron beam evaporation of $45^{\circ}$ were measured. Consequently, the high pretilt angles of the NLC on the SiOx thin film by $45^{\circ}$ oblique electron beam evaporation method can be achieved.
