Steel bearing balls are important component in machines having moving parts. In this paper we describe a vision-based automatic inspection system designed for sensing defects on the surface of steel bearing balls. The system has a camera looking down over a rail on which balls roll. Two mirrors are installed at both sides of the rail so that the side parts of a ball can be well inspected. The entire ball surface can be sufficiently seen by taking three images at $120^{\circ}$ rotation interval. Defects are detected by thresholding the difference image between an image captured and the reference image of a good ball.

There is currently much interest in the development of instruments that emulate the senses of humans. Increasingly, there is demand for mimicking the human sense of smell, which is a sophisticated chemosensory system. An electronic nose system is applicable to a large area of industries including environmental monitoring. We have designed a protable electronic nose system using an array of commercial chemical gas sensors for recognizing and analyzing the various odours. In this paper, we have implemented a portable electronic nose system using an array of gas sensors for recognizing and analyzing VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) in the field. The accuracy of a portable electronic nose system may be lower than an instrument such as GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer). However, a portable electronic nose system could be used on the field and showed fast response to pollutants in the field. Several different algorithms for odours recognition were used such as BP (Back-Propagation) or LM-BP (Levenberq-Marquardt Back-Propagation). We applied RBF (Radial Basis Function) Network for recognition and quantifying of odours, which has simpler and faster compared to the previously used algorithms such as BP and LM-BP.

인터넷인구의 급속한 증가와 함께 전자상거래 역시 놀라운 증가 추세를 보이고 있다 그러나 전자상거래의 지급결제시스템은 여전히 신용카드와 온라인 입금 방식 위주로 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 이들 결제수단은 전자상거래 지급시스템으로는 불충분하다. 따라서 새로운 결제수단인 전자화폐를 전자상거래 지급수단으로 사용하기 위한 상용화 실험이 전세계에서 다양하게 시도되고 있으며 우리 나라의 경우에도 IC카드형은 금융기관을 중심으로 네트워크형은 전자상거래 관련 업체를 중심으로 상용화 실험이 활발히 진행 중에 있다 그러나 이들이 전자상거래 결제수단으로 자리잡기에는 몇 가지 과제가 있다. 특히 범용성확보를 위한 표준화 작업과 지불의 안정성과 가치의 안정성 확보를 위하여 난립하고 있는 전자화폐 발행 업체의 정비 및 엄격한 규제와 함께 예금보호 적용여부도 신중히 검토할 필요가 있다. 또한 전자상거래 업체들의 전자화폐 기피 현상을 해소할 수 있는 정책적 배려가 요청된다.

In this paper, we investigated the hot carrier reliability of two kinds of device with low threshold voltage (LVT) and regular threshold voltage (RVT) in 65 nm CMOS technology. Contrary to the previous report that devices beyond $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS technology is dominated by channel hot carrier(CHC) stress rather than drain avalanche hot carrier(DAHC) stress, both of LVT and RVT devices showed that their degradation is dominated by DAHC stress. It is also shown that in case of LVT devices, contribution of interface trap generation to the device degradation is greater under DAHC stress than CHC stress, while there is little difference for RVT devices.

The electronic money market in Indonesia continues to experience an increase in the number of users and volume of transactions. However, the electronic money market, especially server-based, in Indonesia is becoming concentrated into a few issuers. Electronic money issuers compete in price and promotion wars to gain new customers and maintain their existing ones. This paper presents an analysis of the orientation and factors that influence the loyalty in electronic money products. The research model variables in this study are adopted from the E-Service Quality and Marketing Mix categories. These variables are hypothesized to affect the perceived value and then customer loyalty. The research population consists of all Indonesians who use server-based electronic money, with a sample of 400 individuals. The results show that, in the E-Service Quality group, reliability, responsiveness, and security significantly affect perceived value, while the perceived price and perceived promotional benefits significantly affect perceived value in the Marketing Mix group. The perceived price has the highest effect on the perceived value and customer loyalty, while the perceived value has a significant effect on customer loyalty. Finally, it was found that the customer is more sensitive to the price than quality in using electronic money.

The aim of this study is to fill gaps in emerging empirical evidence and negative electronic word of mouth (NeWOM) in repurchase intention (RI) moderated by the roles of social network sites (SNS) and company mitigation response (CMR). This type of research is descriptive. The sample used in this study is online consumers who buy energy drinks, based on the questionnaire obtained by 145 respondents. Based on the results of testing the estimation of the structural equation model, it was found that the negative variable brand experience sharing had no significant effect on NeWOM; the negative variable electronic reviews had a significant effect on the electronic word of mouth variable, the negative variable electronic reviews had a significant effect on the negative electronic variable word of mouth, the variable intensity of the use of social networking sites can strengthen the direction of the causal influence between the negative variables sharing brand experiences on negative electronic words of mouth. The variable social networking sites usage intensity can strengthen the direction of the effect of causality between negative electronic review variables on negative electronic word of mouth, the negative brand experience sharing variable does not have a significant effect on the repurchase intention variable.

Electronic document communication based on a digital channel is becoming increasingly important with the advent of the paperless age. The electronic document based on PDF format does not provide a powerful customer experience for a mobile device user despite replacing a paper document by providing the content integrity and the independence of various devices and software. On the other hand, the electronic document based on HTML5 format has weakness in the content integrity as there is no HTML5 specification for the content integrity despite its enhanced customer experience such as a responsive web technology for a mobile device user. In this paper, we design the Document-HTML, which provides the content integrity and the powerful customer experience by declaring the HTML5 constraint rules and the extended tags to contain the digital signature based on PKI. We analyze the existing electronic document that has been used in the major financial enterprise to develop a sample. We also verify the Document-HTML by experimenting with the sample of HTML electronic communication documents and analyze the PKI equation. The Document-HTML document can be used as an authorized electronic document communication and provide a powerful customer experience in the mobile environment between an enterprise and a user in the future.

Fog screens offer a great advantage to be used as scattering screens in three-dimensional displays. In the absence of a fixed rigid form, fog screens work as screens without any physical obstruction. The density of water droplets can be regulated to adjust the screen's transparency and scattering level. This study proposes a method for crosstalk reduction between adjacent viewing windows by decreasing the divergence of view of the projector, with concentration lenses. By applying the Scheimpflug principle, we also reduce the keystone effect, which occurs when the fog screen is slanted with respect to the optical axis. In this study, we have realized a tabletop multiview fog display without any structures on the table and established that the proposed method is feasible for decreasing crosstalk effectively.

This study analyzed the intention of continuous use of the electronic attendance-absence system. Perceived ease of use, acceptance attitude, and user satisfaction variables were selected to analyze the factors affecting the intention of continuous use. To achieve the purpose of this study, a survey was conducted targeting students who had experience in using the electronic attendance-absence system at K University located in Chungcheongbuk-do. The use environment of the electronic attendance-absence system was non-face-to-face, and the questionnaires answered by 921 students were analyzed. The study results are as follows. First, perceived ease of use and acceptance of the electronic attendance-absence system were found to have a positive effect on user satisfaction. Second, it was found that the learner's perceptual ease, acceptance attitude, and user satisfaction for the electronic attendance-absence system had a positive effect on the intention of continuous use. This study is meaningful in that it identified the intention of continuous use based on the experience of the electronic attendance-absence system in a non-face-to-face environment.

Sepsis and septic shock affect millions of people worldwide each year with high clinical mortality rates. At present, basic research on sepsis has emerged in an endless stream, but there are few effective clinical translation results. Ginseng, a medicinal and edible representative of Araliaceae plants, contains a variety of biologically active compounds including ginsenosides, alkaloids, glycosides, polysaccharides, and polypeptides. Neuromodulation, anticancer activity, blood lipid regulation, and antithrombotic activity have been linked to ginseng treatment. At present, basic and clinical research have suggested various applications of ginseng in sepsis. In view of the different effects of various ginseng components on the pathogenesis of sepsis, and in order to further understand and develop the possible value of ginseng in sepsis, this manuscript reviews the application of various components of ginseng in the treatment of sepsis in recent years.
