  • In order to use the high-speed range of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(same as IPMSM above), the motor should be at flux weakening control status. High-speed range is called field weakening control region or constant power region, and explain the basic theory of flux weakening control used in the constant power region. Back electromotive force of IPMSM is measured. and field weakening conrtrol driving characteristics is configurated verification test. Through experimentation speed-torque characteristic curve, the efficiency variation corresponding to the current phase angl,the efficiency map were produced.

  • This paper proposes a comparative study of dual-airgap flux switching permanent magnet (FSPM) and spoke-type interior permanent magnet (S-IPM) machines equipped with phase-group concentrated-coil (PGCC) windings. Both of the investigated machines are the same size and material amounts which are compared at the same operating conditions. All the relevant machine performance including back electromotive force (EMF), cogging torque, and electromagnetic torque are analyzed by a 2-D time-stepping finite element method (FEM).

  • This paper presents the sensorless control method that employs the adaptive back-EMF(Electromotive Force) and current model observer of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM). The estimated back EMF considering a saliency is obtained by using the adaptive control method. The estimated EMF is inputted to the current model observer which is connected in series with adaptive back EMF estimator and is used to estimate the position and speed of the rotor. In order to improve the shortcomings of conventional method using the current error components multiplied in the compensation constant, the modified instantaneous reactive power compensator is applied. The validity of the control system presented is verified by the simulation.

  • This paper proposes a sensorless control strategy for the Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) by using the parallel reduced-order Extended Kalman Filter. The sensorless control strategy is composed with two EKFs alternately computed every sampling period with a new model. The new model is based on the extended electromotive force (EEMF) which has a simple structure, making position estimation possible without approximation. The proposed strategy can save computation time and estimate rotor speed and position. To verify the merit of the proposed strategy, simulation and experimental results validate the theoretical analysis and show the feasibility of the proposed control strategy.

  • This paper presents a sensorless control strategy of a PMSM(Permanent Magnet Sycchoronous Motor). This method is very simple to compute the position angle of a rotor. A principle and a practical solution are described. A sensorless control algorithm is proposed to remove a mechanical position sensor. The theory is based on the superposition principle. The state equation of a motor is divided into two conditions: one is the state equation of exciting voltage and phase current in a constraint, the other is the state equation of back EMF(Electromotive Force) and phase current in a short circuit. Based on the analysis, short circuit current by back EMF is computed and then the information of position angle is calculated. The proposed method is verified by experimental results.

  • This paper deals with magnetic field and characteristic analysis for ring type slotless synchronous motors by using analytical method. Since magnetic air-gap in the slotless motors is much larger than mechanical air-gap, it is necessary to analyze the magnetic flux distribution at the whole magnetic airgap region. therefore, this paper analyzes the duplicated magnetic field derived by both Permanent Magnet(PM) and armature current and estimates the back electromotive force and torque characteristic by subdividing the conductor region. The analysis results are verified by comparing with Finite Element Analysis(FEA) results.

  • $CO_2$ 가스 감도를 높임과 동시에 감지거동을 안정화시키기 위하여 여러 함량의 CaO가 함유된 NASICON 전해질을 낮은 온도에서 소결하여 NASICON 센서를 제작하였다. 제조된 소자는 비교적 낮은 동작온도인 $250^{\circ}C$정도에서도 양호한 감도와 안정된 출력특성을 나타내었다.

  • The magnetization directions of a polar anisotropic ferrite-bonded magnet are analyzed by finite element method (FEM). The influence of the width of Sm-Co magnets for magnetic field generation is investigated. The surface flux densities of the polar anisotropic magnets are analyzed and compared according to the pole number and thickness of the magnets. And the electromotive force (EMF) values of brushless DC motors with the magnets are investigated.

  • The formation free energy of Y2Cu2O5 was measured by the partial ion exchanged (Cu2+, Na+)-$\beta$/$\beta$"-Al2O3 as solid state electrolyte. The formation cell was built as follows: Pt(O2)/Y2Cu2O5+Y2O3//(Cu2+, Na+)-$\beta$/$\beta$"-Al2O3//CuO/(O2)Pt The virtual formation formation formula, and the calculated formation free energy of Y2Cu2O5 as a function of temperature are as follows: 2CuO+Y2O3=Y2Cu2O5 ΔfG0/kJ.mol-1=13.19-16.25*10-3T/K.5*10-3T/K.

Effect of Slot Opening on the Cogging Torque of Fractional-Slot Concentrated Winding Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor

  • Cogging torque will affect the performance of a permanent magnet Brushless DC Motor (BLDCM), thus the reduction of cogging torque is key for BLDCM optimization. In this paper, the phase shifting of cogging torque for a fractional-slot concentrated winding BLDCM is analyzed using the Maxwell tensor method. Moreover, a 9-slot 10-pole concentrated winding BLDCM driven by ideal square waveform is studied with the finite element method (FEM). An effective method to reduce the cogging torque is obtained by adjusting the slot opening. In addition, the influences of different slot openings on back electromotive force (back-EMF), air gap flux density and flux linkage are investigated and experimentally validated using the prototype BLDCM.
