계시별 전기요금에서의 프로슈머와 소비자간 전력거래 가격추정 (Estimation of Electric Power Trading Price between Prosumer and Consumer Under Time-of-Use (TOU))

  • We estimated the price range of electricity transactions under the prosumer system, considering the spread of renewable energy and the prospect of introducing a surplus power trading system between power consumers in Korea. The range (min/max) of power transaction prices was estimated by prosumers and consumers who could purchase electricity from utilities if needed. It is assumed that utilities purchased electricity from prosumers and consumers under a Time-of-Use (TOU) rate, trading at a monthly price. The range of available transaction prices according to the amount of power purchased from utilities and the amount of transaction power was also estimated. The price range that can be traded is expected to vary depending on variables such as the TOU rate, purchased and surplus power, levelized cost of electricity, etc.

  • The paper estimated the reasonable market price of lead-acid battery energy storage system (BESS) intended for demand management of electricity customers. As time-of-use (TOU) tariffs have extended to a larger number of customers and gaps in the peak and off-peak rates have gradually risen, deployment of BESS has been highly needed. However, immature engineering techniques, lack of field experiences and high initial investment cost have been barriers to opening up ESS markets. This paper assessed electricity cost that BESS operation could save for customers and, based on the possible cost savings, estimated reasonable prices at which BESSs could become a more prospective option for demand management of customers. Battery scheduling was optimized to maximize the electricity cost savings that BESS would possibly achieve under TOU tariffs conditions. Basic economic factors such as payback period and return on investment were calculated to determine reasonable market prices. Actual load data of 12 industrial customers were used for case studies.

  • 철도 시스템의 전력 소비를 줄이기 위한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그 중에서 급속충전방식 무가선 전동차 시스템은 철도 분야에서 매우 효율적인 에너지 절감 기술로 주목 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ESS를 이용한 급속충전 무가선 전동차 시스템을 소개하고 현재의 도시철도 전기요금 산정방식에 대하여 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 급속 충전 무가선 전동차 시스템 적용 가능한 두 가지 전기요금 저감 방안(기본요금을 저감하는 방식(Case 1)과 전력량요금을 저감시키는 방식(Case 2))을 제안하였다. 제한하는 방식의 타당성 확인을 위해 현재 운영 중인 전동차 시스템(도시철도 2호선)의 전기요금과 비교하여 비용 경제성을 평가하였다.
