  • In this paper, we provide an approach of controller synthesis for input-saturated linear systems by a linear parameter varying (LPV) framework. Using directly the saturation nonlinearity as scheduling parameters, we propose an LPV-stabilizer with parameter-dependent dynamic state-feedback controller concept. Especially, the synthesis conditions are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) that can be solved very efficiency.

  • In this paper, the more accurate and simple synchronous machine model is derived by parameter modification method. At first, the flux linkage state space model is composed by redefining the parameters of synchronous machine and considering the saturation effect approximately. After that, this modified model is apply to the power system model and the effects of power system stability is analyzed by this model's characteristics in fault condition. As the result, the modified synchronous machine model shows more accurate and simple than the privious one.

  • An adaptive control scheme has been recognized as an effective approach for a robot manipulator to track a deired trajectory in spite of the presence of nonlinearies and parameter uncertainties in robot dynamic models. In this paper, an adaptive control scheme for a robot manipulator is proposed to design the self-tuning controller which controls the extended linearized perturbaton model via the pole placement, and this control. The feasibility of the controller is demonstrated by the simulation about position control of a three-link manipulator with payload and parameter uncertainty.

  • This paper develops a pole-zero assignment self-tuning regulator utilizing the method of a neural network in the plant parameter estimation. An approach to parameter estimation of the plant with a Hopfield neural network model is proposed, and the control characteristics of the plant are evaluated by means of a simulation for a second-order linear time invariant plant. The results obtained with those of Exponentially Weighted Recursive Least Squares(EWRLS) method are also shown.

  • In this paper, the breakdown strength of Pure HDPE(High density polyethylene) films and aged HDPE films were evaluated using 2-parameter Weibull distribution function. The result show that both were fitted 2-parameter Weibull distribution. This method could be used to be the diagnostic tool to evalute the insulation performance and endurance under the multiple stresses.

  • In this paper, the mathematical models of the superheater and the desuperheater are derived based on the fundamental laws of physics, mass and energy balance. The parameters of the models are developed for the 500[MW] thermal power plant using the actual data. The simulated model outputs are well matched with the actual ones. It is expected that the proposed models are useful for the temperature controller design of the thermal power plant.

  • In this paper seeks the parameter which relates with the efficiency from premium efficiency level single-phase induction motor. Also it compares with the parameters and it analyzes and an optimum parameter it seeks by FEM. Consquently, a optimal design is accomplished from the this paper. Also parameters compare efficiency. And it analyzes and studies about optimum parameter by FEM. The sample single-phase induction motor selection selected existing premium level motor. We analyze each parameter using 2-D finite element analysis (FEM). According to Study of losses and Design flow, losses and efficiency can be explain by many parameter. So this paper present optimal parameters. Finally, this paper presents the method which raises the efficiency of premium efficiency level single-phase induction motor.

  • To obtain a high performance in a direct vector controlled induction machine, it is essential to correct estimation of rotor flux. The accuracy of flux observers for induction machines inherently depends on parameter sensitivity. This paper presents an analysis method for conventional flux observers using parameter Sensitivity. The Parameter sensitivity is defined as the ratio of the percentage change in the system transfer function to the percentage change of the parameter variation. We define the ratio between real flux and estimated flux as the transfer function, and analyzed a parameter sensitivity of this transfer function.

  • This paper analyzed the power loss of transformers considering the magnetic component. For this, each winding strategy and the effect of air gap between the ferrite core have been an important variable for optimal parameter calculation. Inductors are very well known design rules to devise, but the performance of the flyback converter as a function of transformer winding strategy has not been fully developed. The transformer analysis tool used was PExpert. The influence of the insulator thickness, effect of the air gap, how the window height and variation of the capacitive value effects the coil and insulator materials are some of parameters that have been analyzed in this work. The parameter analysis is calculated to a high frequency of 48[kHz]. Therefore, the final goal of this paper was to calculate and adjust the parameters according to the method of winding array and air gap minimizing the power loss.
