  • Insulator systems using resin casting apparatus are useful to realize the high capacity, small size, and combined electric power equipments, and are expected to bring various advantages. In Korea, epoxy resin molded apparatus have been restricted to indoor uses till now. On the other hand, in Europe, molded insulators and transformers and so forth have been practically used since the former half of 1960's. Recently, investigation on epoxy resin materials and molded apparatus for outdoor use have ben intensively carried out. Probably, this is because electric power outdoor apparatus such as distribution transformer can be given multi-functions by using outdoor epoxy resin compound This study describes the trend on the development of epoxy mold transformers, and important technologies applied for outdoor use.

  • 리모컨을 사용하는 TV, 오디오 기기에서 사용하지 않는 대기 시간에 버려지는 대기 전력을 차단할 수 있는 회로를 개발하여 가전기기 및 산업용 기기의 대기 상태를 간단한 회로 변경으로, 원가 부담없이 대기 전력을 완전하게 차단하는 회로를 개발하였다.

  • Power transformers have a tendency of ultra-high voltage and huge capacity as power demand increases day after day. Therefore, the fault by insulation destruction gives rise to large area of power failure in huge capacity transformers. On-line predictive diagnostics is very important In power transformers because of economic loss and its spreading effect. Hence, this study presents experiments of partial discharge method using ultrasonic sensor in order to confirm the possibility of ultrasonic sensor in power transformers. It carries out the experiments of measuring delay time between ultrasonic sensor and transducer, sensitiities by temperature change of oil and by barriers inside transformers. It is also Included wave analysis by ultrasonic sensor for needle-plate electrode powered on through high-voltage equipments.

  • The non-selective method by polishing after grinding was used widely to thinning of SDB SOI structures. This method was very difficult to thickness control of thin film, and it was dependent on equipments. However electrochemical etch-stop, one of the selective methods, was able to accurately thickness control and etch equipment was very simple. Therefore, this paper described with the effect of leakage current and electrodes on electrochemical etch-stop. Consequentially, PP(passivation potential) was changed according to the kinds of contact and contact sizes, but OCP(open current potential) was not change with range of -1.5~-1.3V

  • Underground connectors in 154kV for the connection between power cables and power equipments represent a greater part of power system stability and reliability. This paper presents the performance evaluation of 154kV separable dry type plug-in connector of a company in Japan for transformers and Gas Insulated Switchgear. And the possibility of the application on domestic underground line was considered.

  • A way of measuring an efficiency of organic light-emitting diodes are studied. The efficiency is obtained from the current-voltage-luminance characteristics of the devices. Basically, number of charge carriers are obtained from the current-voltage characteristics, and the number of photons are obtained from the current of Si-photodetector. The organic light-emitting diodes are assumed as a lambertian light source and a program is made for calculating the efficiency. A device structure of ITO/TPD/$Alq_3$/Al is manufactured using thermal-vapor evaporation. This device is set into a measuring system and measured the efficiency. The efficiencies are measured using the lab-made program and commercially available equipments. The obtained values are similar to each other within 10% uncertainty.

  • Effect of conductance factors on performance of vacuum system was simulated for optimum design of vacuum system. In this investigation, the feasibility of modeling mechanism for VacSim$^{Multi}$ simulator was proposed. Application specific design of vacuum system is required to meet the particular process conditions for various industrial implementations of vacuum equipments. Geometry and length, diameter of exhaust pipeline were modeled as simulation modeling variables for conductance effects. Series vacuum system was modeled and simulated with varied dimensions and structures of exhaust pipeline. Variation of pipeline diameter showed the more significant effects on vacuum characteristics than that of pipeline length variations. It was also observed that the aperture structure of pipeline had the superior vacuum characteristics among the modeled systems.

  • All objects with some temperature above absolute zero radiate in the infrared. The intensity of the infrared radiated from a object defends on the condition and temperature on the surface of the one. The present, these techniques are frequently adopted into diagnosis for electricity equipments. Simply, however, the applied techniques are passive thermal testing for the detection of loosened terminals and overcurrent. In this paper, a infrared thermal imager was applied to high voltage windings of cast resin transformers, and the accumulated value of the result temperatures was used for evaluating remained lifetime of them. At each aging level, dielectric loss tangent test was carried out. The results offered capabilities for deciding the condition of the transformers suffering difficulties to diagnose.

오존수를 이용한 감광막 제거 공정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Photoresist Strip Process using DIO3)

  • In this study, photoresist stripping in semiconductor or LCD (liquid crystal display) fabrication processes using DIO, was investigated. In order to obtain the high PR stripping efficiency of DIO. we have developed new ozone-generating system with high ozone concentration and ozone-resolving system with high contact ratio. In this study, we obtained ozone gas concentrations of 11 % by new ozone-generating system, ozone-resolving efficiency of 99.5 % and maximum solubility of 130 ppm in deionized water. We applied the newly designed equipments to photoresist stripping processes and obtained similar results to SPM(sulfuric-peroxide mixture) process characteristics.

  • EU의 WEEE 지침에는 전기전자제품의 생산자들이 반드시 달성하여야 하는 재활용률과 재생률의 목표치가 설정되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 전기전자제품의 생산자들이 개발되는 제품의 재활용가능률과 재생가능률을 산정해 보는데 필요한 부품과 소재들의 재활용률과 재생률의 기준을 만들어 보았다. 먼저 전기전자제품의 재활용공정과 부품 및 소재별 재활용 및 재생특성을 분석해 보았으며, 유럽 현지 업체들의 처리결과에 따른 재활용률과 관련된 자료들을 조사하여 분석하였다. 이러한 결과로 작성된 재활용률과 재생률 DB는 유럽의 전문가의 의견을 반영하여 개선하였다.
